First the good. The staff are genuinely groovy and full of aloha, the rates were superb ($80 for a…read morefull 24 hours) and when we had to change our reservation they made no qualms and easily accommodated us. Now the bad, and it didn't take away too horribly from our experience. Our mopeds belched out lots of exhaust which made riding in tandem impossible, plus we got lots of cutting glances. My moped was less than perfect. Every time we hit the slightest bump, it would sputter and belch loudly and you can tell it was in a previous accident because the headlamp was held together with adhesive and zip ties. But no regrets and it was so much fun! In fact, each year when we come to the big island we're making it our tradition to rent one and zip around town.

Don't buy from these guys! . I've purchased both ATV and UTV in the past along with accessories…read moreover the years. They used to be a great family business. Well not anymore. I recently called to have them service my Kawasaki brute force and the refused to take it in and referred me to another shop. They said because it was an older model they will not take it in and that they have a lot of trouble sourcing parts. How would they know without even checking? I found all the parts on line in at numerous vendors. Their core business philosophy had changed. They are more intent on sales and not on servicing what they've sold. Their service dept. Used to be great, approachable and helpful this is not the case in recently. If you buy from them just know that they may not be there to help you when you need to fix your unit.
