No…read morematter the season, the view is breathtaking especially at sunrise or sunset, when the city is painted in golden tones. This spot feels like a hidden gem only locals know about. It's peaceful, scenic, and perfect for a quiet walk, a photo session, or just relaxing with a coffee while enjoying the view. There's public parking, and depending on the day, you might even find an ice cream truck. A few blocks away, you'll find restaurants and cafes, making it a great stop before or after a meal. You can even walk or bike the entire stretch from Weehawken to West New York along the waterfront. Whenever I'm in the area, I make it a point to stop here even just for a few minutes. Sometimes life gets so hectic that I don't stop and smell the roses. I find myself so focused on what's next or what I have to do later in the day to get one step closer to generational wealth that I just don't sit and enjoy the present moment. Pier C Park brought me straight back to present time. Standing on this little hill floating in the Hudson River, I could see the entire New York Skyline. A quote from one of my favorite books echoed between my ears: "I would give the greatest sunset in the world for one sight of New York's skyline...The sky over New York and the will of man made visible. What other religion do we need?" I tend to agree. I just sat here for a bit, smelling the roses for the first time in a while. How lucky am I to just sit here and be able to look at this? The entrance has a cool gate and then you walk a bit to get to the end where you are met with a very close encounter to the water and have the most amazing view of the New York skyline. Side notes : The breeze from being next to the water can be a little chilly so unless it is summer months I would recommend bringing a jacket. There is also a little greenery area where you can let your kids loose nearby along with a playground so if you have little ones be sure to check it out! Parking can be tricky but there are apartments across the small street where they have visitor parking and then you can walk to the pier.

This park is geared towards toddlers Completely fenced in…read more(although it is attached to a tennis court and the door to that was open one of the days we went. I noticed some of the kids would run into the court area... luckily no one was playing tennis) Swings - two baby swings (the bushes nearby provided some shade in this area) and two of the swings that have a regular seat and a baby seat attached to the same thing. Gazebo - there's a gazebo in the center that was on an elevated cement platform. Baby play House - there was a little play house that looked like it was for babies, like new walker age... Two play structures for kids - lots of slides Plenty of benches around the park A giant pig statue and cow statue to play on Dinosaur, airplane, and police car ride up Pretend nature themed house with a little bench in it A splash pad that was dirty and not open yet. I assume it will be cleaned first. Looks like it'll be like a couple inches of water with a giant flower shooting water down onto the kids. Truly little. Little Island is a cool manmade island on stilts. Unfortunately the day I went was…read morereally hot and humid, so I was kind of melting in the sun. I meandered around several of the paths, perhaps lacking one. They offer accessible options as well as staired. I found both the amphitheatre which hosts ticketed events and the smaller theater in the Glade by the free public (and cool!) bathroom. I spent perhaps a half hour walking around. I might have sought out the last path and enjoyed some of the interactive art more if it weren't so hot that day.
