Many, however, transferred to Butte Home Health so the transition has been good. The RN is the most important and crucial, right? We met Pamela for her first visit and it only took minutes to be comfortable again. She is the personification of excellence, and I feel my wife has a concierge doctor/nurse when she is here and an advocate for her health. Today, Butte authorized a portable oxygen machine so that we have some additional options to go out and about. From medication organization and ordering to specific needs, we have appreciated each person, from Shannon, the social worker, to Theresa in PT, Chaplain Hugh, we feel so lucky. If this review can help others, then it is worth the time to have done it. All companies will have similar manuals, but it will always be the people and the human touch that determines their effectiveness. Butte Home Health deserves a huge thank you.

The amount of help and assistance it provides to the community and the many contracted counties is incredibly impressive. I wish the number of patients whose lives have changed by HHCM would be on display so everyone can see what an impact this place makes. HHCM is beyond just in-home care. It helps the homeless finding housing, it provides case management to facilitate maneuvering through a confusing health system, it provides resources for better overall care, and the services go on and on. A kind of business dreamt by one individual, the CEO, who chose a career in Nursing for the intention of benefiting others. It's important to know that Happy at Home seems, at least from my perspective, to contract out to a handful of trusted people. This means that there is no set structure, except for note taking and check ins. That said, this is a boon in my opinion. My mother had a certain type of person in mind to help her with chores and meals; she in a small way resented needing help and as a result could be quite specific in her needs. Kaliahna would work with us to make sure the right people were there. I worked with Kaliahna all the way from Phoenix, and she was very receptive to the sort of over communication that a son separated from his sick mother is inclined to exercise. Perhaps that's the way to take your bad Happy at Home experience in to a positive one, communicate. Keep lists of tasks for caregivers, tell Happy at Home how you feel about a given caretaker, listen to your intuition and share that intuition. They seem to be good people who care about their business and their clients, so they'll listen.

Over the course of our work together, we weathered traumas, losses, and setbacks neither of us could possibly have anticipated when we began. Again and again, he met those moments with extraordinary skill, patience, humanity, and an unwavering commitment to helping me find my way through. But perhaps the most important thing Dan ever did was simple: he believed me, and he believed in me. The first time he told me, "You got this," I didn't believe him. I couldn't see in myself whatever it was he could already see. A decade later, I am living proof that he was right all along. Dan is an exceptional therapist, but the caliber of his character is every bit as remarkable as his clinical skill. He knows when to challenge, when to listen, when to sit with something difficult, and when to hold hope for you until you are capable of holding it yourself. It is difficult to write a review that adequately conveys the value of someone who helped you survive. I can say without exaggeration that Dan's skill as a therapist, his compassion, and his belief in me are among the reasons I am alive today. Dan, thank you for believing me when I needed to be believed. Thank you for believing in me when I couldn't do that for myself. Thank you for walking beside me through more than either of us bargained for. You told me I had this. It took me ten years to believe you. You were right. Dan, thank you for saving my life.

We scheduled the appointment during an extremely painful and vulnerable time in our marriage. We were not necessarily looking for someone to "fix" everything; we were looking for professional guidance, whether that meant helping us communicate more clearly, process difficult feelings, or even separate in a respectful and less harmful way. Unfortunately, the experience felt unprofessional from the beginning. The scheduling process was confusing and disorganized, with mixed messages about the appointment time and paperwork requirements. Still, I went into the session hoping the actual counseling experience would be helpful. It was not. When we arrived, the therapist, Miranda McWilliams, greeted us with little warmth or effort to make us feel comfortable. The session moved immediately into procedural disclaimers and then into asking each of us what we wanted from therapy. When my wife and I began discussing our perspectives, there was some disagreement and back-and-forth, which I would think is fairly normal for a couple seeking therapy during a serious marital crisis. Instead, about 20 minutes into the appointment, Miranda abruptly told us she could not work with us because we did not agree on parts of our relationship timeline and because she believed we had both already made up our minds. There was no meaningful attempt to slow the conversation down, help us communicate more effectively, offer guidance, provide referrals, or handle the situation with warmth and care. The session simply ended. I understand that a therapist may sometimes determine that they are not the right fit for a couple. My issue is not only that she declined to work with us; it is how abruptly and coldly it was handled. Couples in crisis are often distressed, emotional, and struggling to agree on the facts. That is exactly why they seek professional help. Being dismissed 20 minutes into the first appointment, without support or useful next steps, left both of us feeling worse than when we arrived. In my opinion, this was not just disappointing; it was harmful. At a moment when we needed professionalism, compassion, and steadiness, we experienced the opposite. I would strongly caution other couples, especially those dealing with serious marital distress, to think carefully before seeking services here.

I only wish I had found her two months prior to my surgeries. I had major multiple surgeries and felt so ill-prepared for the post care. My husband was home to help me for a few days, but felt a little lost. He then had to go back to work and I was alone with our geriatric doggie and a lengthy recovery. I found Kelly, after-the-fact, and had another surgery scheduled three months later. My husband had already made arrangements to take off work for the week and help take care of me or else I would have hired Kelly because she was available. So, I did the next best thing ... I signed up for her post surgical care guide, and together my husband and I binge-watched her very informative videos, printed out and went over her e-book with step-by-step directions, tips and tricks with suggestions for helpful healing tools to purchase at the drug store, as well as yummy recipes she has for optimal nutritional healing. She also recommends an extremely helpful foam bed wedge pillow set - for back and legs support, sleeping upright, and surgical recovery, which has been the best investment, along with soft and easy convenient round sized ice packs. I could have really used them with my previous surgeries. Although Kelly and I have not met in person, which I hope we do sometime, I have spoken with her on the phone. She is very personable, helpful, compassionate, kind, sincere, trustworthy, caring and goes the extra mile to help. Seeing her in her videos, I get the feeling like I know her and I believe you will too. I truly recommend her for your personal surgical recovery nurse and/or her video and e-book surgical recovery program, which is included when you hire her for your post-op care. My aftercare, like many surgical procedures left me with multiple drains, dressing change, medications, etc. Things I was not familiar with nor prepared to deal with. Of course the print-outs and verbal instructions you receive at discharge don't truly help, even if you can remember what was said. Especially me, an accountant!! During my recovery, Kelly handled everything, she observed challenges I was experiencing and presented alternatives that made it much easier for me. Kelly keep my physician updated, trained me on doing the the drains, dressings, etc. Kelly not only provided excellent physical care, emotional support, encouragement to me, she was awesome with my best friend, Jesse James, my dog. I cannot say enough about Kelly and highly recommend her, if you are recovering at home, you need to have Kelly. Bonnie G

She is the person you would want looking after your loved one. If only she were the one looking after your family member. Like most care centers, they are understaffed. Residents wander around the facility. They enter other's rooms and go through their things. They get into arguements and sometimes get physical. There are not enough people there to appropriately manage the 'residents'. Many visits of mine included redirecting other residents out of my loved ones' room. Pressing the call button doesn't get you anyone to the room. DESPERATELY understaffed. My father was on hospice from Day 1 at this facility. That meant that Roseleaf provided very little care and relied upon Butte Home Health to take care of all the dirty work. Butte Home Health is not set up to be on site for all needs. My father most often was crusty eyed, never left his bed and didn't eat his meals. He had a colostomy bag and he would tear it off making a big mess. The business end of the business is not efficient. They are quite quick to require you to pay them for services - as a business should - but when they owe funds back to you after your loved ones' death - get ready to wait for many, many weeks. Excuses about people being away from their desk, let me look into this, our accounting department is in another state . . . and no one calls you back. Be sure to ask for paper documentation and receipts for all monies paid. You will need this to try and twist their arms to get your money back. It has now been over 6 months post death and I've yet to receive my refund for overpayment for care. They don't return calls. They don't respond to email. BEWARE!

Marbella wouldn't bring in anyone to clean the earwax out so Mama O could hear better. By the second day Roseleaf Gradens had brought in a person to clean out Mama O's ears. Roseleaf Gardens also gave us a price per month substantially lower than Marbella for the same level of service with a private room. We learned had we moved Mama O in December of 2025 to Roseleaf Gardens from Marbella we could have saved $17,500.00 in costs. Mariah, Amanda, Veronica, Amber, Gabreille, Jesus and Lindsey were all exceptional. I highly recommend Roseleaf Gardens.
