Long story short because i am mentally exhausted and my husband is now physically exhausted. We hired Elliott's pool and services out of Ashland, KY to install a salt water inground pool. He is a Hayward distributor, keep that in mind. We paid $2600 for the salt water cell system and received one that was maybe $300. It was installed incorrectly when they first installed it, we would have blew up our 4k pool heater if we would have ran it. The tanning ledge is no where near flat. There is wrinkles. The backfill my husband had to hand dig out because it was done incorrectly. So he had to spent 2 days shoveling it all out by himself. There was rebar, wrong cut pieces of pluming, pop bottles and trash threw down in there they covered up that we found. REBAR.. could have shifted over time and completely ruined our entire pool. If our concrete guy would not have noticed the backfill was done incorrectly, our concrete would have caved within short time. We have gave opportunity after opportunity to have our salt cell we paid for dropped off and we would even install it ourself, and he won't even do that. So now we have to buy another system, that we already paid for. The janky salt cell that he supplied to us will not work and only ruin our whole set up. Also, they didn't put the wiring to the light in the pool in conduit, they just threw the wire down and buried it. We purchased a house in 2021 with an existing pool. It was aged and we had no idea what we were getting in to - but I suspected it was bad as I've had a quality pool built. I couldn't get anyone to give me a quote and then found Travis and his crew from a neighbors referral. Travis and his crew redid our pool, new liner, new pump, fixed the drainage - new cover. it was all necessary. They also built a nice retaining wall to keep the hillside from running in to the pool.
