The first time was over a year ago--they came to the rescue and fixed an issue that others couldn't. The second time, my home warranty company sent a contractor who tried to charge thousands for electrical work. Thankfully, I still had their card from the first job, so I called them again. Once more, they came through--doing the job right and within what the home warranty would actually cover. This is an honest company that does great work. The only downside is that they're hard to get a hold of and prioritize jobs based on urgency. But if you can get them to take your job--do it! Totally worth it. (According to Basement Doctor brochure & video) After the installer gave me some lame excuse of why they didn't install all the products and why they did what they did it like I was some type of ignorant dumbass. Needless to say my blood started to boil. So to avoid conflict I paid the man as sent him on his way as I wanted him off my property asap. I have made contact the Basement Doctor's office and the salesman with my concerns and so far have gotten the brush off. Use this company if you choose but consider this a "buyer beware warning"

I live in Louisville, KY, and Joe and his staff helped me with a family member's issue in their area which is 3-4 hours away. He was always accessible by phone and even let me call him after hours to discuss the issue. Our issue was a gas leak, and those repairs can be expensive. He provided information regarding insurance we could purchase after the repair in case we have any other issues. He stood by the price he quoted even when they had to return to fix an additional issue and was even willing to clean out a bird's nest from the hot water vent. It turned out to be a wasp's nest and I needed to contact someone else to take care of it, but still, his team showed up and made the effort. Highly recommend this company!!!
