The little salad had a very nice dressing and the eggs had a very tasty seasoning. Overall what a nice way to break your fast. Service--9.5/10. The only complaint I have is service was a little slow and it was a very cold morning one of our frozen days here in Northeast Florida. The combination of that meant because the young lady at the counter was taking another order that my food sat for a couple of moments before it was brought to me, and I was starting to get quite cool. Other than that, the food was fantastic, and she was clearly hustling to the best of her ability. Atmosphere--10/10. A very charming little shop. The exterior and interior are both so cute and quaint. It makes you feel very welcome. It could be a little warmer inside, but usually down here in Florida. We're dealing with the opposite end of the thermometer and trying to keep things cool so these few frosty days that we had this month definitely were more than most of us are prepared for.

The power bowl was really delicious but the cup they serve it in made it hard to enjoy. I was trying to scoop out the egg which falls to the bottom so that was awkward to eat but super good. I suggest more of a tray or actual bowl would be easier to eat this in. I got my order really quickly and they have plenty parking. It was busy and plenty customers. Really enjoyed my visit and stayed a bit to work in the cafe on my laptop.

I had a plum cinnamon tea which was also great and bit the spot on a rainy day. The WiFi connected but wouldn't open any pages except google, so that was a bummer. I'd love to see for-here food come in an actual plate or bowl. The bowl mine came in had all the egg & sausage on the bottom, so you ate grits first then everything else. Still, I'd come back and try more things. I also tried the chocolate banana thing (muffin? Donut? Cupcake.) and found it pretty disappointing. The cake part itself is good, very moist. Too moist to be a donut or a muffin, so it must be a cupcake, which is weird considering the shape. The icing was awful. It's so overpoweringly sweet it doesn't taste like chocolate or banana, just sugar. If you don't scrape it off, it makes the whole thing way too sweet.

To say that this is a "hidden gem" doesn't do this place justice. It's located next to Now and Then…read moreAntique Mall (another local gem) on College Drive in Orange Park. While Yum is a destination spot for baked goods and custom cakes, they also have a market that features a variety of treasures made by local vendors. Homemade bath and kitchen products are abundant, as well as jams and jellies, funny signage, clothing, and so much more. If you're in need of a creative and unique gift for any occasion, then Yum is the place to check out. Whether I've needed goodies for my days off or stocking up for a TV marathon night (Stranger Things 4 in one shot), YUM has always had me covered. I could sit here and tell you all of my favorite desserts, but then this review would turn into a novel. I will say that I leave there with at least two scrumptious cupcakes and several bars. Their 5 (or is it 6?) layer bar is outstanding and reminds me of the ones my Mom used to make for the holidays. It's like the one from the Eagle Condensed Milk can recipe, but so much better. If you see these in the dessert case, GET IT....or get 5, like me. They have a Facebook page, where they keep you up to date on upcoming sales and events, as they have loads of different products coming in from day to day. I love that everything is made from scratch and that they're supporting our thriving local community of artists. Yum a Southern Market is well worth the trip, whether you're in the neighborhood or from out of town. A big thank you to the owners and the staff for bringing us such a special place! One important thing to mention is that they are closed on Sundays and Mondays! Till next time, my fellow Yeeps, SUPPORT your local eats and businesses, and as always...SYOY!

I used to love this place…read more... This is the 3rd time within like the last 2 months I've been here and they have messed up my order. Which is frustrating, specially when you've been craving something specific from them. I've ordered from the kiosk and an actual person before and the order ends up being wrong. Ever since new ownership took over, I feel like the quality of this place has gone down. Or at least the quality of the food has gone down. The shredded turkey isn't even the same anymore. sliced turkey is no longer the same, you can tell it is from a packaged brand, the one that they use now definitely changes the flavor of the bagel XL. The other day I ordered a bagel XL with sliced turkey, egg, cheese, and cream cheese,l and when I got home it wasn't the sliced turkey but the turkey patty. When I I got home I called them and advised them it was the wrong order. They said to bring it back, and they would make the right one, which they did. But driving back and forth 15 mins each way to go pick it up and exchange it because they wrong is a bit of hassle. Also, it seems like their ordering system is also always printing out the wrong order. And then a few days later I placed an order for delivery and the drink was wrong. I had ordered the peach drink and I got some berry one. I also order a plain bagel with cream cheese for someone and it barely had any cream cheese.

I went to Royal Moose Coffee Company this morning, and unfortunately, the customer service…read moreexperience was frustrating enough that I won't be returning. I ordered two bacon, egg & cheese croissants, a small vanilla chai latte, and a medium vanilla iced latte with extra sweetener and light ice. The employee actually acknowledged the croissants while I was ordering, but after I finished giving my drink order, she asked, "So just the two drinks?" Somehow, the croissants were never rung up at all. When I got to the window, she realized she had forgotten them. Then I noticed my iced latte wasn't made with the extra sweetener I had specifically ordered. When I mentioned it, instead of simply correcting the drink, I was told I would have to be charged for the extra sweetener. I said that was fine, even though I had already ordered it that way in the first place. Rather than fixing the drink, she handed me a separate cup of sweetener to add myself. My drink had whipped cream on top, so I explained that I couldn't exactly pour sweetener over the whipped cream and properly mix it into the latte myself. At that point, I was told she would have to refund and recharge me in order to fix it. What should have been a simple coffee and breakfast order turned into multiple unnecessary steps because my original order wasn't listened to or entered correctly. At that point, I was just over it. I told her to refund everything because for nearly $28, I could go somewhere else, spend less money, and have a much less complicated experience. Mistakes happen, but when the mistakes are on the business's end, correcting them shouldn't become an inconvenience for the customer. I was genuinely looking forward to trying this place, but this experience completely turned me off from returning. Better attention to customers' orders and a simpler approach to correcting employee mistakes would go a long way.
