My husband and I bought our first home last year...and were pretty overwhelmed with how to make our living room look both stylish and modern- with a baby and limited budget! Having spent the previous 7 years in graduate school, all we had was hand-me-down furniture and not a lot of funds for new items.
BUT Loralie GREATLY helped us figure out a plan for redecorating our living room. I really appreciated that she worked within our budget, finding reasonably priced items from a variety of stores. The design package she sent us was clearly well thought out, researched and organized. With everything from furniture layout, furniture options, accessories and paint choices, it literally had everything we needed. She also managed to accommodate both mine and my husband's tastes very well, which is no easy task, so we were both happy with the results!
Six-months later, we have incorporated the majority of her suggestions. Even when we have veered off and made different purchases than she recommended, we have remained "inspired" by her design. Best of all, if I contact her with a follow-up question, even months later, she very graciously responds with additional help.
Overall, I would say this is a worthwhile service before making major furniture purchases or redecorating on your own. Having an expert with great taste guide you is so worth it!
