When asked who discussed pricing we were directed to a mans office who happens to also be the owner. He proceeded to write several different prices claiming that he couldn't match the price given the level of service that he offers as part of the experience. Paying for a entire wedding on your own, you look for the best price for everything. After going back and forth with the owner, I extended my hand to shake his hand as we were not going to purchase the same dress at a higher price then we found at another location - he refused to shake my hand and tossed his quote in my direction. As I am a business owner and somebody that works in customer service I was shocked that he handled himself in such a childish and non professional manner. I will not go back and would not recommend this store to anyone else. The two stars are given to his staff. If it was based on the experience with the owner it would have been zero star rating.

Terrible experience!…read more We went for my sisters first ever experience, after her friend had gotten her dress there. The experience started off well with the owner introducing herself and getting started with Annabelle. My sister tried many dresses, but Annabelle seemed to have difficulty really listening to what my sister was expressing about each dress. She repeatedly brought the same style of dress to be tried on, and didn't really listen to the bride and what she wanted to try. The worst part of the experience though, was the supervisor Sara! If I could send a message to the owner, it would be that this woman certainly turns away many brides. She was loud, extremely rude, and super pushy. She made rude remarks to the bride and her entourage, telling us to "try on more"--- being sarcastic as in to say she had tried on the store selection. That of course was not the case. Bottom line: The supervisor Sara completely ruined my sisters experience, made her cry, even! Shame on you! I will not recommend this place ever!

Furthermore, when we described what we did and did not like of each dress, we were met with clueless stares and after only a few dresses each, we were told "to narrow down instead of bringing out more options." We are not difficult shoppers, in fact, we found 3-4 dresses EACH that we loved at another store earlier that day. So I doubt it was that we simply could not be pleased, but rather that we were not allowed to see any dress options or select off the rack and the 2 women "helping" us seemed disinterested in providing options. Lastly, having a specific brand in the store that can only be tried on for $35 per dress is INSANITY. I would never pay to simply try on a dress.

The décor was outdated , there was very poor lighting in the room , and only one mirror. 2 ladies started pulling dresses while another lady just stood there with her arms crossed looking into the room- it was awkward as she stayed there the whole time ! After they brought a few dresses that weren't pleasing me...they started getting defensive saying that this is what I showed them. This was my first time trying on dresses therefore it meant nothing that I liked a style online - it didn't mean it was the right style/fit for me. This is where Punta Chiara started losing me , and my entourage. We were all so annoyed by the awkward ambiance that we just wanted to get out of there. These ladies that have been in the industry for years should know that if a bride keeps NOT liking a certain style the should bring something else , not keep bringing the same exact type of dress. Another detail that really bothered me is they didn't take the time to put the clamps at the back of the dress , they would just zip me up and tell me to go show my friends and family...the dress was falling almost to the ground! . Lastly half an hour into the appointment another bride came and was in an adjacent room , suddenly the sales ladies disappeared and were barely coming to attend to us...I guess they knew they lost my interest and didn't even attempt to try to salvage the appointment. When I thanked them and said I won't be trying anymore dresses , we were leaving the room and the owner was standing outside of the second bride's room , she didn't even look at us and said "BYE" , no thank you , no nothing. I guess they didn't need my money . All this to say , that I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone - bad dressing room with terrible lighting , uninterested staff , and dresses that all look the same - tacky and cheap.

Think around $350 -$400 for dresses that are beautiful, elegant and still won't drain your weding budget! I went there with a friend who is getting married, and she said yes to the dress in no time, with so many beautiful options! You can bring friends and even some champagne too. A great option for people who are on the budget but still want ro feel like a princess on their special day :) PS: It's by appointment only so make sure to call first! And when you get there it will look like it's the wrong place because it looks like its a purse/belt/accessories store but the place is actually on the second floor :)

This place is awful. I brought three pieces of clothing: one required very simple alterations, and…read morewas done okay, but two required more extensive work. A pair of pants I asked to have taken in at the waist and legs came back with one leg too tight and the other even tighter. There was a difference of almost 3/4 of an inch in the taper. I insisted they be fixed, and the second attempt wasn't much better. I also brought a vintage coat from the 30s to find out if it was worth modernizing. The tailor assured me the fabric was hugely expensive wool. I told him I'd want to get the coat cleaned first to make sure it would look good, and he told me not to worry; he was going to take care of everything. When I asked if he was sure, he told me "Please, I'm here 30 years..." Well, when I got the coat back, looked like it had been sewn by a student, and it was just as unclean as it had been when I dropped it off. I brought it to a dry cleaner and the stains, as I suspected, could not be lifted. Also, the coat wasn't wool. The shop needs more craftsmanship and less con. I wouldn't go back there to hem a pair of Levi's, let alone trust them with anything of value.
