I had an appointment at the sample sale and wanted to share my experience…read more I was nervous, anxious and scared as I had been to other bridal shops for girlfriend's weddings and the experience was horrific. So walking into this bridal shop definitely made me feel extremely uneasy. That uneasiness was very quickly put to rest. I was greeted warmly by Helene Senechal. She was sweet, comforting, attentive, funny, down to earth and most importantly not pushy. She gave me pointers and her opinion but never over stepped. I told her about my incapability of making decisions and she never once made me feel badly for always going back and forth (poor thing must have probably wanted to strangle me). We went over my appointment time and once again, I never felt any pressure. Thank you to Christianne Brunnelle Couture for not being one of those crazy bridal shops that makes people run out the opposite way. And a HUGE thank you to Helene Senechal for making my experience truly wonderful. We too often are quick to make complaints however the good experiences should be shared as well. I absolutely suggest going to Christianne Brunelle Couture Nuptiale when looking around for a dress!

I went wedding dress shopping there. I took the 100$ VIP package and don't regret it…read more First, because it's in a private room and you have 2 hours for you and your posies. Second, they let you take pictures and videos. Third, everyone is seated comfortably, bottle of water and bubbly (non-alcohol) in hand. So, the experience went smoothly. (Un)Like a say yes to the dress episode. However, my only complaint was. I felt like there wasn't lots of different dress. I said that I wanted to try different material and different shape. But, I felt like I was in the same dress with a small difference from the last one. Also, the assistant kept putting me in ball gown size 12-14 while she zipped me in a size 8 mermaid that fitted me like a glove. So of course, I felt like a ball of hay in the ball gown. But besides that. I had the experience of trying on wedding dresses with the precious women in my life.

I was newly engaged and not-at-all in the know about anything having to do with a wedding. The woman asked me if I had any appointments for dress shopping yet, and i said no. She said "When are you getting married?" and I said "6 months?" and she said "girl, you are Late!" so I panicked, made an appointment for the following saturday and went to have a mini-meltdown at home. I was dreading my appointment to this boutique to the point that I was sleepless the night before and thinking of calling my 3 girlfriends up to cancel. The woman from the shop had me go on their website and fill out some general information in advance and then print up some different photos of dresses I liked. I had NO idea what I liked. anyway- I garnered some courage and met my girlfriends for my appointment at 10am. I walked in and the place was bustling! cute young ladies in white and ivory Everywhere! I picked 4-5 dresses with the help of an employee. She came into the change room with my and helped get the dresses on and Io and behold, the dresses were not hideous! I actually really liked one and almost considered buying it on the spot, on my first day of dress shopping ever. They also have an option to rent for almost half the price of buying. I can't remember the name of the woman who was helping me but she was outstanding. Made me feel completely comfortable and helped me to figure out what it is I want in a dress. Overall it was a great experience and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a fun experience wedding dress shopping.

I bought my wedding dress, veil and headpiece from Chateau de la Mariee Nadia. Since you have to go…read morea few times for fittings, etc. I had a variety of experiences each time. My first visit with my Mother, well of course I got good service, I was ready to buy. The lady who helped me was nice but she did not speak any English. I am not perfectly bilingual and my mother doesn't speak French so it was certainly a challenge for me to do the translating considering I am no expert. We got through it though and she was very nice. She said even if I think I find "the one", I need to try on at least a few others, which is what I did. The one we did end up choosing was the best and frankly two months after the wedding I am STILL obsessed with it. lol! My current profile photo is the dress. It is black & white which was the color theme of the wedding. They had a TON of choice. This is the place to go if you want VARIETY. They did reduce the price but what do I know.... they may have marked it up, regardless it was $2,000 total, which I guess is average? Again, what do I know. Ha! On my second visit, for the 1st fitting with my soon-to-be-mother-in-law, the service wasn't so hot. I was sent upstairs to get my dress then was sent back downstairs to get it. It was only a few months to the wedding and the lady said to me, "Oh we were just going to ship off to our storage"... I was like, "Um, why?" It was so weird. Once I brought my own dress upstairs, we had to wait almost 15 minutes (maybe even longer) for someone to come help us. I put my dress on by myself, no help with zipper at the back or anything. Eventually a woman came by and the seamstress came to see me a bit after that. The alterations should somehow be included with the cost of the dress. Just to hem the front (NOT even all the way around), was $350.00. Yes I know, I think I got screwed there. And to put the train up with ties under the back of the dress was $75.00. Figure that one out? The way they put the ties made the dress go up so beautifully - they could have charged more for that and less for the hem. Again, I dunno, I'm not in the wedding dress business. My last fitting was good. I was helped almost right away, it didn't take them long to get my dress and I had assistance putting on the dress & doing up the zipper. It was actually a very quick visit. The alterations looked good and the dress fit perfectly. On the day of the wedding however, I found the dress to still be long in length because I was stepping on it a bit, lol. Oh well, that can happen. At least I didn't step on it and fall in front of everybody walking down the aisle. LMAO. Despite the ups & downs I experienced at Chateau de la Mariee Nadia, I would still recommend this bridal store to any lady who's looking for a wedding dress. I still have my dress and I will always have it, forever. Thanks for reading!
