Unfortunately I cannot recommend anyone take their business to Claudette. I was a customer of…read moreClaudette's for years (buying off the rack) and thought she would make a beautiful wedding dress for me and a dress for my mother. Instead she produced a dress of extremely low quality with both low quality fabric and construction, that was no where near what we originally discussed. For my mom's dress, she said she would make the one my mom tried on in a different colour, but when my mom received it, it was so big it was falling off her and had weird gaping fabric because of how badly it was sewed (another seamstress said she couldn't even fix it). Claudette refused to acknowledge any of this and forced us to pay in full. Unfortunately Claudette does not have the best interest of her clients in mind - do not trust her.

I was greeted by the designer and owner directly and immediately started finding some gorgeous gowns. An hour later, still trying on beautiful and unique dresses, I have to say my hairstylist was definitely right, but then again how could I ever have doubted him! Rush specializes in handmade bespoke dresses. There are many samples to try on in the front room, but the real magic happens when you speak with the designer to start customizing your gown. The price is also relatively affordable, ranging from $400-800, as far as I saw. Still a lot, but considering what wedding dresses go for these days, I was pleasantly surprised. Whether you're looking for a wedding dress, bridesmaid dresses or evening wear, Rush offers some beautiful, handmade and locally designed gowns.

I had an appointment at the sample sale and wanted to share my experience…read more I was nervous, anxious and scared as I had been to other bridal shops for girlfriend's weddings and the experience was horrific. So walking into this bridal shop definitely made me feel extremely uneasy. That uneasiness was very quickly put to rest. I was greeted warmly by Helene Senechal. She was sweet, comforting, attentive, funny, down to earth and most importantly not pushy. She gave me pointers and her opinion but never over stepped. I told her about my incapability of making decisions and she never once made me feel badly for always going back and forth (poor thing must have probably wanted to strangle me). We went over my appointment time and once again, I never felt any pressure. Thank you to Christianne Brunnelle Couture for not being one of those crazy bridal shops that makes people run out the opposite way. And a HUGE thank you to Helene Senechal for making my experience truly wonderful. We too often are quick to make complaints however the good experiences should be shared as well. I absolutely suggest going to Christianne Brunelle Couture Nuptiale when looking around for a dress!

The choices and the quality of the stocks is a notch higher. I personally really loved the salesperson that worked with us. She was on the spot, just there enough but not imposing herself. She made my sister tried a veil even if she said didn't want it, but was so Randy-Fenolli-Right and was a great help. My only concern was the downstairs staff that looked blasé and arrogant. They spoiled the mood a little. But in the end. The floofy tulle and glitzy glitter bling of this place makes me forget about it.

This place was the second floor of a boutique that offers only bridal and customs. Very badly lit, the place was filed with deals and we saw THE dress. We had spotted it in a different store but it was cheaper here and they thrown in a veil. But, the dress was dirty and you could tell that many other people tried it before hand. Yellow pit stain and the train was black. The sell lady tried to say that they would clean it, but really, what if it doesn't come of? Afterward she told us they would order a new one, that we would have it in 10 days. Even if it was cheaper, we did not get the dress there just because if something goes wrong we would have no back-up plans. (The wedding is in....41 days (wow it's closeeee)) It was ok.

This is hands down the best tailor I have found. I came to Asma, the seamstress, with my wedding…read moredress after my wedding planned in the US got cancelled. I had my dress shipped from Miami to Montreal and trusted her with all my heart. It was THE BEST decision I could have made. She helped turn my dress which I hated and looked old, in the vision I had from the start. She and Lily cared so profoundly about me, my mother in law and even my mother who tuned in through Facetime. They took the time to listen to them (and we know it's not easy to listen to two moms chatting about a wedding dress...) Most importantly, she listened to me. She kept me calm throughout the process, every seam was perfect. She was an absolute angel. In fact I loved her work so much that I ended up asking her to change up another dress of mine made of delicate organza. She sowed in flowers perfectly, turning a simple dress into a couture dress for me to change into while still looking like a princess. To say she goes above and beyond is an understatement... She literally came to my four-person wedding to make sure I had someone to fluff my dress right, put me in the dress, close each button carefully, if she had the chance to be there with me (but covid kept my mom away in NYC.) She is an expert in her field. Having worked in fashion and production, I can't speak too highly of how perfect each seam, each advice, each word was. I will never go to another seamstress and I can't wait to continue to build unique dresses I am COMPLETELY in love with.

Obviously it didn't work but made it worse. I can't get over what a half assed job they did on tailoring my dress. There is so much that I am frustrated about. I ordered the dress on a Thursday morning, paid for standard shipping and assumed it would arrive sometime next week since I live in Alberta. Imagine my shock when it arrived the NEXT DAY. Opened it up and everything was beautifully wrapped in ribbon with a beautiful note to boot. The dress is gorgeous - it will definitely need some hemming but I could not be more thrilled.
