    Nice dance venue
    Linda J.

Came for a birthday party here. This is a very nice venue. The parking lot us huge. It is set up well and makes sense. There is a big dance floor and the acoustics are good for both DJ's and live bands. The bathrooms are very clean also has a changing station for what I presume are for brides. They have a beautiful outdoor patio area with ample seating. If I were to throw a party this place would be in my top ten.

The was my first visit to the German Christmas Marketplace…read more It would have been nice to have more ticket booths at the entrance so entering wouldn't be a long wait. Half the vendors were enthusiastic, the others couldn't be bothered to acknowledge me or care about what they were selling. I actually offered to watch a booth so the owner could take a bathroom/refreshment break. I sold two items when she was away too. Food was ok, leaving condiments out gave me anxiety for health reasons. We had a bratwurst with extra curry ketchup, "Spaetzle" which tasted like butter noodles and a huge potato pancake. I wanted a pretzel but realized it wasn't homemade so I passed. My friends enjoyed two cups of the Glühwein each. Probably the highlight of the evening was the children's performances. So cute and festive!

But it was really fun, They keep the show going They have a really talented MC, I think if she was to retire the clientele would drop off not as many people would come, The band they bring in from Germany, They speak German they sing in German and then they sing in English also. The food is a little bit limited. The sausage is probably the best choice, They only give you a little bit of sauerkraut and some white bread, I think it's best to eat before you go but they're desserts are really fantastic, I recommend saving room for the desserts, They have a special dessert booth, All the desserts look homemade, I would go there just for the desserts. Anyway I do recommend it, / parking is difficult, You have to park in the neighborhood and walk in, I think I parked about five blocks away and I got there before they opened.

What could improve?? A LOT! FIRST having a new graduate be transitioned out before they have a job…read moreand money saved up. What's up with that?? Second background checks on staff!!! Y'all just let anyone in eh? Im still freaking traumatized thanks. Mental health evaluations on people before they come into the program. Because....yikes! Im implicated in something I'm not even a part of . just because I knew a certain former staff member. Staff taking responsibility where it lies with them would also help a lot and go a long way. That place is a depressing program. I was harassed by staff and people in the program alike for a year. All bcuz I spoke up. Yet nothing was done to stop it or prevent it. They simply didn't care. More real life classes need to be applied as well. When you're done with the year you are not ready for the world again. No skills except laundry and housekeeping. If you are not versed in finances you are literally screwed. Stop following people when they go to Albertsons. It's creepy! AsF! I always looked over my shoulder when I left campus. Also the staff members will literally end up where you are going, bcuz they take back roads. It's EXTREMELY creepy and unsettling. The people in the program are not too nice ..they believe the gossip that goes around that place. They will clique up against you and talk smack. Go to your social media and take screenshots of your posts in order to start drama. Do I think this place has value? No not at all. Instead of kicking said staff member out, she was allowed to stay in the same dorm with me where the abuse continued. Towards the end of my stay there she finally ceased. Overall I wouldn't recommend this program to anyone.
