Elko RV Park in Ryndon is 11 miles east of Elko. It has gravel LEVEL long spurs. Plus SHADE TREES! Easy on and off the 80 exit 314. Mgmt was pleasant. Didn't use the bathroom or showers so I can't comment on them. Hot desert days it's nice to get some shade read more

Chose the park because of proximity to the freeway and it's facilities. It met those, the bathrooms were clean, the showers hot and the power good. While the park is a little spartan it is close to and affords a nice walk to the Humbolt river. read more

Lived in this park for over 5 years!! Absolutely loved it. The managers are extremely nice and helpful. Definitely would stay here again.

Pulled up and went to check in. Jenny immediately made us feel at home for our one night stay. She found us a nice quiet large pull-through site. Nice and level! She got in her truck and had us follow her to the spot. Great overnight stop! read more

We were a bit hesitant to stop here after reading an earlier review, but decided to give it a go anyway. We've stayed at the other parks in the Elko area - and did NOT like either of them. We were coming home after picking up our new travel trailer in SLC, and after fighting the horrendous winds all day, were ready TO STOP. Seeing our 'paper plate' on the trailer, I guess the management was afraid we were trailer newbies and might need some help backing in and setting up, so they sent a VERY helpful gentleman over to assist. But we're 16 year trailer veterans and really didn't need the help. However, it was nice to see how helpful they're willing to be! There aren't too many open spaces for one-nighters like us, but we DID get a spot. Friendly folks on both sides, and the people in the office were friendly too. As another reviewer mentioned, it's quiet at night (except for the noise of the freeway, and even THAT isn't too bad). Of course, we hit the bar to get a beer and 'mingle' with the locals to get the feel of the place. Nice folks there too. We were there June 25th. We would not hesitate to stay here again. read more

The Elko rv park has made outstanding changes from just a couple years back, with new owners and management the place is full and looks great. The bar has eight multi game slot machines and the park now has two wash houses and Landry facility's. Great place to stay for a night or like many of the campers long term. read more

The pictures were a little misleading. The pictures by the water were not easy accessible. Actually didn't see any. Pretty worn out rv Park. Office looks like it was a collector Of miscellaneous things. Smoke from the bar was apparent in the office which shared a door which was open. The site we were given had a broken coupler. We were the only overnight guest. Most were permanent residents and most sites were pretty shabby. Not much of a store. Didn't go into the casino/bar part. Was only $29 with good Sam Discount. So a place to rest your head... gal that handled our checking in was nice. Took us to our spot with her golf cart. With her golf cart. read more

Ok, so the management has changed and I hear things are much better (family is staying there). They are friendly and polite and have even been making improvements to the park. I guess the owners realized a change was necessary. read more

Very helpful staff here. It's usually pretty full with longer-term residents but we've found a good spot both times we were there. They have wireless internet, a bar, laundry, and a fair bit of shade for this part of the country. The bar closes at 10 p.m. and in spite of the large number of trailers, the place is pretty quiet. It seems like quite an improvement over the RV parks closer to Elko - Ryndon is two exits NE of the east-side Elko interchange. read more

My family stayed at the Elko RV park on the way to Salt Lake City on August 5th 2016,The park is exceptionally easy to access from I 80 right off the exit I think it was exit 314, the facility was clean and well taken care of we stayed in the front area which featured grass and shad. The bathrooms were old but clean and the showers are free if you stay the night and had plenty of hot water. My kids walked the dog next to the river witch is a off leash dog walking area and enjoyed the small Humboldt river by throwing sticks for the dog into the river / creek. All in All for the middle of the Great Basin Desert a nice place to pull over and rest up for the night. read more

I was shocked to say the least, at a review I read recently here concerning the r.v. park at ryndon N.V. I have been in Elko only a short time, and had been staying with friends, while looking for a home. In order to not to be a burden on my friends and their family, I asked around about where I might get a hot shower and be able to do laundry. Several people pointed me here. There are no words to describe amount of kindness, humanity, and hospitality that I have received from every person there, from the owner, manager and family, park staff and clientele.
