I had barely pulled into my houst from picking it up and the screen went black. when I told owner after taking it right back he said I had to go to apple cause it was software issues. apple said it was a Chinese screen that was the issue when the owner told me "it's a authentic apple screen" I went back and he told me the best he could do was give me back $280 because he needed to charge for his low quality, labor. whatever I took my money back took it to apple and was told I'd still have to pay $700+ to repair my phone because he screwed up the ports to connect proximity sensors. I know for a fact he did that when I went back for my money because I wasn't very polite about it. I mean who would be? i wouldn't go back if it was the last cell phone repair shop within 1000 miles.

I went to Genius Phone Repair today to see about having the charging port repaired on my…read moresmartphone. The gentleman at the store told me that they could repair it, but that there was no need since it was capable of wireless charging. I had completely forgotten that it was an option for the model of phone I had. He put it on a wireless charger and confirmed that it would charge and power up. I appreciated his honesty so much that I offered to buy a wireless charger there and this time he told me that he didn't have the charger model that worked best with my phone and recommended that I buy it at Best Buy. I sincerely appreciate that he didn't make me pay for an unnecessary repair or sell me the wrong charger.
