I walked into this location a while back because I didn't know about company and I was in area. The manager there is without the rudest person I've ever encountered walking into a salon. Not sure why she was did she think I didn't have the money to go there . I actually go to a dermatologist for my skincare , which is more expensive . She just had a nasty demeanor about her while talking Not what I've ever experienced walking into a salon . Salons are happy places where you go to feel good and look good . TL;DR: Book a massage with Silas, thank me later Today, my husband and I treated ourselves to 90-minute massages. A friend had recommended Silas, saying he was strong. I'm not picky, but my husband is a big dude, and when it comes to massages, he jokes that he's looking for someone to beat him to a pulp, so I thought that sounded like a good fit. This turned out to be the understatement of the century. Silas isn't just strong; he's a lovely, warm, empathetic dude who welcomes you enthusiastically and then gets down to business. And oh my god, he is INCREDIBLE. Within the first five minutes, as he worked with precise, expertly applied firmness, releasing hitherto unknown aches and tensions and sending shivers down my spine, I was thinking, "Ohmygodohmygod. This is amazing. This is already the best massage ever. I have to come back. I need to bring my friends. I need to tell everyone I know." I had come in with a crick in my neck. I made some vague complaint about it, upon which Silas rooted out the real source of the problem, in my shoulder, and then methodically fixed it, along with serious tension in my neck that I hadn't even realized was there. (If, like me, you work at a desk, your neck and shoulders might be grumpy too.) Silas also did amazing work on the rest of me, kneading and stretching, loosening and releasing, incorporating techniques from acupressure and reflexology, and everything was woven together with what I can only describe as pure intuition: he seemed to know where it hurt, why, and how to address it. He worked through twitchy reactions I had in my back (something other massage therapists had just ignored) while explaining that it was a normal response, and kept it up until the twitchiness subsided. All the while, he kept up a flow of easy, friendly conversation, and didn't mind when I interrupted with babble like "Oh my godddd that feels insanely amazing," "Urgh, what is THAT" and "Hhhnnghggghf," which is the sound you make when your face is mashed into the head-cradle and you have been reduced to incoherent goo by a stellar massage. My husband and I walked out, and I said, "Is it just me, or..." My husband finished my sentence with "...that was the best massage I have ever had. That guy is GOOD." Run, don't walk, because Silas is a gem. I'm literally looking at my calendar now to see when I can schedule another appointment with him. I have seen Nicole two times now and I highly recommend! First, for dermaplaning and a facial, then a week later for microdermabrasion and another facial. My skin is glowing and ready for my wedding next weekend. After each service, Nicole did a great job walking me through how to care for my skin after these services. I can barely even tell I got sprayed yesterday - I mentioned it to the esthetician when she was done & she brushed it off and didn't offer to apply more. I have had many facials at this location and was pleased. However, yesterday I went in for the 50% promotional facial and you certainly get what you pay for. The facial was not at thorough as the full price ones. Also, the amount of noise coming from the front desk: banging, loud laughing and voices, made it impossible to relax during the facial. I was very impressed that Stephanie from Elizabeth Grady contacted me after I posted my previous review. I am posting this here as an update even though my second experience was at a different EG location. After emailing with Stephanie, I decided to try the spray tan again- at the Saugus location this time. It couldn't have been a more different experience! The esthetician directed me on how to stand, how to hold my arms, etc. I think another difference was that she would take time to dry the product so it didn't ever streak or smudge. I have been a client of the Elizabeth Grady corporation for 15+ years. Always satisfied. But I recently got a pedicure and let's say that I would have rather had gone to a "quickey Asian spa" and risked getting a fungus. The biggest no-no's where put into action. From cutting my cuticles (dry!), double-dipping into the large jar of cream, and then the minor things, cold water in my pedicure basin and a chatty nail technician. And the over-all quality of the treatment was poor. I still have calluses. read more

I visited the Beverly Elizabeth Grady late last week, the receptionist was very nice and accommodating. I went to the salon for a facial and an eye brow wax. The salon was very clean and very quiet. The esthetician was Eliana. She was a pleasure to meet. She was knowledgeable and willing to give me tips on how to keep my face healthy. My facial was one of the best I have ever had. She understood my needs and provided an excellent service and treatment. The eye bow wax was also fantastic. She shaped my eye brows to make me look great. The wax they use was not painful at all. I got to Jen for microderm since the spring or summer of this year. She is absolutely wonderful. Not only do I regularly get these done to battle my adult onset acne but my face is now clear after she has worked her magic these past months. I am continuing to go 1-2 times a month just to maintain this and I follow all of her directions for keeping my face healthy and hydrated. She has been able to really change my beauty routine around and help me feel confident. She also doesn't ever pressure you to buy anything or make you sign up to come a million time or anything like those other spas. She tells me what is good for my skin if I ask and sometimes I buy it there sometimes I but it somewhere like Sephora and othertimes I don't at all. But her advice and her skills are amazing. I'm an older woman who has never had a facial before, and I treated myself and my daughter-in-law to the Five Star Facial - it combines everything, so you get a chance to experience a lot of their products and techniques. Kristina was my esthetician (she's pretty new there and she's excellent). It was so relaxing - very gently she massages in things that lessen wrinkles, give your skin the right amount of moisture, and make you look younger and fresher. I've had white heads recently, and she gave me a lot of tips on how to prevent them and keep my skin healthy. The next morning when I woke up, I was amazed at how good my face looked and felt. i will never attend another Elizabeth Grady again. I'm sure all the salons are different but this one specific has ruined it for me. Granted I know me being one person you may think I wont do damage to the company but I will tell everyone about my experience and make sure my story is known. So let me tell you a little about it. Well over all the time in the room with the girl was very enjoying and very comforting. So be it I was in the lobby and the women at the desk, whether it was the receptionist or manager she was talking to someone on the phone about a previous employee and was talking "crap" about her. saying she had no integrity to work for her and etc. to me, I would not work for her either she was just rude and very unprofessional. to me a higher end company should have profession people working for them. Clearly they don't. My daughter was actually considering the schooling for it and I am for one second thinking that whole thing and might just send her somewhere else! I am very disappointed in everything that happened. I hope that poor girl whoever that women was talking about finds out and goes to the company about it. read more
