I came in for trouble breathing...Out I went with two useless tests. The first one I took, though I…read moreshould have asked "how much" and "what for". Sure enough, back came a bill, net of the insurance payment, of $188. No results, no consultation, and no test results sent to my Primary. So I called- first woman said something like they would not respond. Then she agreed to let me speak to someone else, but left me on "hold" for 15 minutes until I hung up. Huh??

Get staff who doesn't treat patients as though they were an inconvenience to their "horse play"…read more, for lack of a better word). They are outwardly rude. I asked them to repeat something and I got eye rolls. They speak Spanish amongst themselves when they have an English speaker before them. They speak in a demeaning way to patients. I almost got up to save a very eldery woman because she was getting flustered and didn't know what to do. They have no empathy and make things as difficult on you as possible. For instance, I needed blood work, they were supposed to have sent it over, not there. Call for help and I got hung up on, try again got left on hold for over 45min til they wore me down and I hung up. I called again and got Lillian who was absolutely going to help me...yay....not there again. Needless to say I am no longer a patient there... I will not be subject to that kind of treatment. I just got off the phone with their supervisor who would have a hardcopy of the labs at the office and she would speak to the staff. Why is it my job to now go to the office, deal with the absolute horrific staff. It was then I quit. They don't care about the patient at all!!! PATIENT BEWARE Dr Mukesh

Excellent Trusted Care…read more I moved to the Dr. Janardhanan's practice at Banner 18 months ago. The previous provider as for lack of another term 'a total mess, involving unfounded cookie-cutter treatment extremes'. I arrived with hope for a better experience and I found just that. His demeanor and expertise were comforting and I felt I finally found the care I expected. I value the ability to work with my providers as a partner, and especially so when that partnership is reciprocal. Exceptional medical care requires designing treatment for each patient. I feel I am in the best of hands. Dr Janardhanan is very appreciated partner and am happy to be in his care.

I have worked closely with clinicians for over 20 years. Therefore, I am very particular in selecting and keeping those who help guide me with health and medical decisions and care. Dr. J is a kind and empathetic physician who seems very dedicated to delivering the highest standard of care for his patients. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a cardiologist in Tucson. Additional comments about the other staff members: Carrie at the front desk was friendly and welcoming. As soon as I arrived, she let me know that the doctor may be running about 15-20 minutes behind. However that did not happen. There was a very rude older man checking in after me and the other woman at the desk handled that interaction with as much patience and calmness as a person in that situation could offer. Maridella was kind and friendly both on phone calls before the appointment as well as at the appointment. All around...it was a great experience for me!

I was referred to Dr. Mostafizi for chest pains by my PC at the New Era clinic. My mom advised…read moreshe'd seen this doc & recommended I go visit Pima Heart directly in Tucson. She also said that his office would "nickel & dime" me for multiple appointments vice doing them together & that he only was only at the Sierra Vista location on Fridays. In the interest of not taking time off from work, I elected to be seen at the New Era clinic. I should've listened to my mom. I was scheduled & billed for three separate visits. First visit was for an initial consult & an EKG. At the end of the appointment I was told someone would call me for a follow up. I finally had to call Pima Heart myself for the follow up that was three weeks later. The second exam was for a stress test & out the door quickly. The third appointment was for an echocardiagram. Again, very short. Dr. Mostafizi is ok, though our conversations were short. His medical techs were all very friendly, but every one of them had some sort of statement about how antiquated the equipment is "down here". They even verbalized how they had to "figure out this old equipment," further describing how state of the art equipment is at their usual location in Tucson. Sooo, I have to wonder, did I get charged the same amount for worn down, old equipment?? I would recommend going to Tucson, at least you can be assured the techs will be proficient at the equipment they're using.
