What could improve?? A few things!! For one...a call back…read more I left two messages yesterday, Thursday and two today, Friday. No one called me back.. I've been working two weeks to get my prescription refilled. This coming Monday will make 3 weeks. When I called two Mondays ago. The staff told me that they didn't do in-house compounding anymore because of insurance. I gave them a name of a compounding pharmacy that I've used in the past. This took a couple days. When the staff called my prescription in, it was a different form of pill then when it was compounded in the office. was getting the dissolve in your mouth thyroid pill. The office called in a capsule. I wanted to stay with what I had been on for the last two months. When the pharmacy finally got the OK from the doctor to do the dissolve in your mouth pill, the pharmacy told me two days ago, it would be the end of next week before I got my medicine. I ran out of medicine two days ago. I decided to check with a local compounding company I've used in the past. I called them Thursday of this week. They told me if the prescription came in yesterday. They could have my medicine to me by Tuesday. Problem is the office called in a prescription from my old doctor, not my present doctor. This Dr has never prescribed this dosage for me. So I've made a bunch of calls and no one has called me back and they haven't called the right dosage into the pharmacy. So, I don't know when I'm going to get my medicine. Pretty sad.

He is thorough and explains everything completely. And he is compassionate with a bit of humor mixed in as well. The office staff couldn't be better!! They are patient, polite, and pleasant-even through the worst of Covid. I have never had an issue with anyone in this office. I recommend Dr. Rolins without reservation!!! With healthcare the way it is in this country it seems that we need to have a little patience with "the system". The previous review was not a good one but as my father used to say-you attract more bees with honey than you do with vinegar. A lot of the way you perceive things has to do with the way you treat other people. It takes time to work through the system these days with referrals, being in or out of network, what your insurance will pay for or what they deny--none of that is your doctor's fault. He probably feels as frustrated as you do-maybe more. Try giving people a break now and then.

Just recently, 4 months later, he referred me to a vascular surgeon regarding the lesion that was out-of-network although my insurance showedthem in network. Clearly there ws a problem neithr his office nor the insurance wanted to own. I tried to resolve with his office who were singulalry unhelpful and refused to let me speak to the practice manager. Dr. Rolins then fired me as a patient. Docs like Rolins need to look at themselves and their own admin to see why there is a problem in the first place. Not blame their mistakes on the patient . He is also very knowledgeable about supplements, what works and what doesn't, as well as drug interactions. His office is also one of the best run - every call is actually ANSWERED, and his employees treat everyone with dignity and respect. He spends whatever time he NEEDS to with you, sometimes staying late, if it is warranted. He also will call a patient himself if he is concerned about something.

February 2, 2026 was the last straw !!! PT: He gives me an exercise to do for a timed 1 minute in duration. He does not stay, observe or correct my form. He runs across the room to talk to a female employee. It takes him several minutes to return. All the additional exercises are exactly the same situation, sets timer & then crosses the room. Back a few minutes LATER. (He spends half of my paid PT appointment elsewhere.) Things got worse when he barked instructions from across the room & then got mad & in my face for doing them incorrectly !!! I once AGAIN, just like every appointment, informed him I have a severe hearing ADA disability & CANNOT UNDERSTAND him (1) because he states "cannot speak any louder" (2) Gives instructions from across the room !!! He DID NOT HAVE ANY TROUBLE RAISING HIS VOICE WHEN HE WAS "IN MY FACE". John Olson was HOSTILE, ABUSIVE, OBNOXIOUS, UNPROFESSIONAL & UNABLE to control his obvious Biased & Predacious for this hearing-impaired individual.
