Get staff who doesn't treat patients as though they were an inconvenience to their "horse play" ,for lack of a better word). They are outwardly rude. I asked them to repeat something and I got eye rolls. They speak Spanish amongst themselves when they have an English speaker before them. They speak in a demeaning way to patients. I almost got up to save a very eldery woman because she was getting flustered and didn't know what to do. They have no empathy and make things as difficult on you as possible. For instance, I needed blood work, they were supposed to have sent it over, not there. Call for help and I got hung up on, try again got left on hold for over 45min til they wore me down and I hung up. I called again and got Lillian who was absolutely going to help me...yay....not there again. Needless to say I am no longer a patient there... I will not be subject to that kind of treatment. I just got off the phone with their supervisor who would have a hardcopy of the labs at the office and she would speak to the staff. Pima Heart advertises as the largest cardiac practice in Southern Arizona. They also should advertise that they have the worst customer care in ALL of Southern Arizona. It is extremely difficult to talk to anyone to provide information about your case. Seldom, if ever, is a phone call answered by a person and call backs to reach a medical professional or a support person often entail 3 to 4 calls. And then, the information received is spotty and often times does not provide a true picture of the situation. Pima Heart has grown too big to provide personal patient care. BEWARE!!! THEIR BILLING DEPT IS A MESS!!! I'm done being nice about this! It gets me no where! Last spring this was all taken care of, and they told me it was cleared up, then 3 months later I get another bill...the 3 pics show where they wrote I would not be charged, another where I paid because of their mistake and the last is the bill I received today.. It is so comforting to have a caring cardiologist team in Green Valley, so we don't have to drive 50-plus miles round trip to Tucson.
