During my research, I found his rates are in line and actually a bit lower than other physicians in the area, but this is not the deciding factor in choosing Accents. I viewed numerous before and after photos of procedures done by Doctor Berkowitz and knew he was the doctor for me. All of my procedures were done by Doctor Berkowitz personally. During visits, staff are in attendance but Doctor Berkowitz does all the work. I can't count all of the compliments I continue to receive. The lobby is spacious, with plenty of seating, a coffee bar area, a large fish tank and a wall full of awards and plaques. We didn't make an appointment, or call ahead - we simply walked in and were immediately greeted by staff. My sister explained what she wanted and they were able to squeeze her into an appointment right then and there, which was great. Once we checked in, we sat down in the lobby and a few minutes later were called to walk back to one of their treatment rooms. We then waited for someone to come in to start the process, which included asking questions about various fillers, the process, the lip club package and get her before photographs taken... this process took about 15 minutes total, and varies per consultation based on the questions you have. Next, the provider came in and went into depth answering questions about how long the filler lasts and what to expect, which all questions were thoroughly answered. My sister had the option to get them done right then and there but opted to schedule an appointment a little further out in Spring to be summer ready. From the amazing customer service from everyone we encountered, to the in depth explanations of the process - to two people that have no idea how it works, I definitely recommend Allure!

I should have known what kind of place this was when I went to my appointment on a Thursday at 4:00…read morepm and the waiting room was so crowded there was not even a chair for me to sit down. After waiting till 4:30 to finally be called back, the doctor breezed in took a split second look at the x-ray and said, the tooth needs to be pulled. Then started to walk out when I asked him WHEN, because it was hurting. He just nonchalantly said "they will schedule you as soon as possible" and he left. Turns out "soon" was the following Tuesday! When the appointment finally came, the technician took me to the room and helped me into the chair and put a numbing agent on my gums, I told her I had anxiety and was extremely nervous. The chair arm would not stay up, so she just left it down, giving me nothing to grip with my right hand. The doctor came in, picked up a big syringe and proceeded to start shooting into my gums, he didn't even ask if I was numb. By the second shot, it was so painful I let our a cry of pain and he yanked the needle out and said "Don't yell, there are kids next door." I wanted to say a few choice words, but considering the situation, I remained silent. He then grabbed the pliers, without putting any more numbing shots in and proceeded to start rocking and yanking on the tooth. This went on and on and the pain was pretty bad, then the crown shattered and he kept yanking and I could not help it, I cried out in pain and then the tooth came free. He a gave me condescending look and said in a loud voice "You cannot yell like that!" I was just stunned that he would speak to me like that. I looked over to the technician and she had a stunned and frightened look on her face. The doctor left and the technician immediately said "I'm sorry he was so mean." The doctor's name was Russell Sclafani. Unless you want treatment like this, I suggest you do not go to Summit Oral Surgery.

The pain was like a constant hammer to side of the head. Coming out of a drug-induced fog, I saw this doc casually stroll in instead of my usual ENT. He was calm, cool & collected and got me on the mend and back home. At my follow-up, he suggested an allergist.
