Huntington Learning Center was instrumental in helping our daughter achieve a seven point increase…read morein her ACT score while immensely boosting her self confidence. Initially, she was somewhat reluctant to make time in her already cramped school/work schedule for the multiple sessions at Huntington each week but we kept insisting that her hard work with the assistance of her wonderful tutors would pay off in the end. She simply needed guidance and some well appointed tips (can't say enough about the watch!) to make her goal her reality. Thank you!

You answered every question with kindness and made us all feel comfortable. Time passed so quickly because your class was so interesting. I also want to sincerely thank (both of you) Syed for thinking about women who feel safer learning from another woman. That thoughtfulness means a lot, and I truly appreciate it. First and foremost, in today's world and during these current times, referrals are about the only…read moreway to survive. It takes very little effort sometimes for one to appreciate good and honest business versus just being quick to write something bad because, well.. most people to complain. I guess I will start with the latter, the way the world is nowadays is truly something to be recognized, it's not about paranoia but rather having your head on a swivel; being acutely aware to situational awareness - something that was taught as one of the key fundamentals in this class. Pew Pew Guru is far more than just a class, and like the owner and our instructor Kevin stated, "it's not how you take the test, everyone tests differently - it's about how you absorb the material as that is what matters." Upon walking into this class, I was promptly and courteously greeted by him as well as fellow colleagues, we took this course to have one goal in mind; to be safe and to know how to use certain tools when applicable and as a final resort. Kevin taught his class in such a way that anyone from novice to expert could easily digest and regurgitate the information with confidence. Pew Pew Guru doesn't just give you a book and in a sense tell you to 'read it' and send you about your way. No. There is a lot of gray area here, it's not all black and white. Kevin brings his prior experience in the Army as well as being an instructor the past few years to the table. His network is vast and his techniques are proven. If certain methods do not work for you in his class, he will work with you to see what may be the better or best way for you to grow. That is his passion and his drive. He understands you signed up for this class and he wants you to understand that he values the reason(s) as to why you did. The class material itself is something you may need to read twice, but again, it's something that everyone in the class puts an interactive team effort into collaborating. When it came to hands on proficiency, Kevin and fellow RSOs will ensure when you leave, you'll be even more confident than when you walked in. They offer various tools to ensure this. If you are even contemplating about a quality CCL/W class whether if you're a first timer or looking to renew, do not hesitate to contact Kevin and his team. Or, if you are looking for a nice deal on certain tools of the trade, he can offer that for you as well. There is no price on personal protection, the materials and knowledge given by Pew Pew Guru are truly invaluable. It is well worth the 8/16 hours that you are here. The bottom line is this - they say knowledge is power, but I say, knowledge and applying it is the truth strength. Kevin and the rest of Pew Pew Guru know just exactly how to make this niche 'industry' right. There are bosses and then there are leaders, Kevin led this entire class and with absolute perfection.

Hi my name is qiana i posted a review regarding this establishment a year ago frustrated and…read moreconfused i gave a negative rating not knowing the process that it takes to get a conceal and carry in the state of Illinois. I wld like to share my update. First ill like to apologize to the owner Julio. My ignorance made me write the review what i didnt knw that i knw now is that Illinois has been over loaded with new applications and that for that reason its been a delay on reviewing applications. Not only is it time consuming but Illinois just don't have the man power to keep up with all the new applications. So the process can take a long time! Also with my application i switched addresses. When filling your conceal everything must match if not it will be rejected and sent back . Julio immediately reached out to me and he he took ownership and made my application a main priority. When new information came about he wld inform me and he wld reach out. I will not say the process was short . It was extremely long and u are kept in limbo with the state.. But i have my conceal to carry To present day!! Julio worked to find HARD to find my processing error the state never told me why my application was rejected... It was Julio that found the error and made the necessary corrections.. After i got my License Julio assisted me to apply for the remaining states ... I feel bad that i went to social media and slander this buissnes on my ignorance. I just hope as others seek this place and review my commentary that people will see its not about what happen but what was done in the service recovery that makes the real difference!.
