They are a new business so they don't have a lot of reviews and I was hesitant to sign up, but they were the only ones who weren't booked months in advance in my area. And it was an unbeatably low price. So glad I went! They were always making sure we weren't left with any questions on the material. We did in class demonstrations and went to the shooting range as part of our certification. And being a new business there were 4 of us in the class. Some people take classes with as many as 40 people so it was amazing to have such a great instruct to student ratio. Definitely recommend!

I've worked on/off in the security industry as armed officer since 1998 and lived in many states....I've relocated nearly every year due to career. Although I'm highly experienced and knowledgeable of firearms, it's very important to go through trainings like this to know about the state's laws, etc. I've lived in many states and they all have very different laws.

I guess I will start with the latter, the way the world is nowadays is truly something to be recognized, it's not about paranoia but rather having your head on a swivel; being acutely aware to situational awareness - something that was taught as one of the key fundamentals in this class. Pew Pew Guru is far more than just a class, and like the owner and our instructor Kevin stated, "it's not how you take the test, everyone tests differently - it's about how you absorb the material as that is what matters." Upon walking into this class, I was promptly and courteously greeted by him as well as fellow colleagues, we took this course to have one goal in mind; to be safe and to know how to use certain tools when applicable and as a final resort. Kevin taught his class in such a way that anyone from novice to expert could easily digest and regurgitate the information with confidence. Pew Pew Guru doesn't just give you a book and in a sense tell you to 'read it' and send you about your way. No. There is a lot of gray area here, it's not all black and white. Kevin brings his prior experience in the Army as well as being an instructor the past few years to the table. His network is vast and his techniques are proven. If certain methods do not work for you in his class, he will work with you to see what may be the better or best way for you to grow. That is his passion and his drive. He understands you signed up for this class and he wants you to understand that he values the reason(s) as to why you did. The class material itself is something you may need to read twice, but again, it's something that everyone in the class puts an interactive team effort into collaborating. When it came to hands on proficiency, Kevin and fellow RSOs will ensure when you leave, you'll be even more confident than when you walked in. They offer various tools to ensure this. What I liked about it most was the discussions. It wasn't just a presentation of information, we talked, we were able to interactively learn. Even though I had ready tons of information online about IL conceal and carry before the class, I still learned a ton of information. I now feel better prepared to carry in the real world. Beyond that they offer all the fingerprinting and application help the state requires. I give Krimson my highest recommendation for CCL, fingerprinting and notary needs. I even went back to purchase a nylon and patches brush for cleaning the next day.

The suggested dates for rescheduling did not work as I had prior commitments that had been moved in order to make time for the original dates, so I asked for a refund three times in writing. There was no response. When I called, the receptionist refused to do so because she said I had class materials in my possession, which is not true. I would give this business zero stars if I could and as it appears to be closed, I probably don't need to tell anyone not to go here. It's poor business practice and reflects badly on a field of which I am usually proud of.

Then the day before I received an e-mail that my staff had to forward to me since thrive did not e-mail me directly . Stating they needed to reschedule since there was another client that wanted to make the training private . I called and Mary told me she needed to get out training moved . This was less than 24 hours before the training and we are about 3 hours away so my esthetician needed to leave soon to drive up . Mary told me she would make it work since we had already taken out esthetician out of the schedule , out payment had been posted , and we had clients in the schedule for when she was done. We called Mary back multiple times regarding the day of information .no one responded to our 3 emails and 6 voicemails. Day of training comes and they have moved my esthetician went to the address on google but they were not there . The doorman said this happens all the time . More phone calls and emails with no answer !!!!!
