I told him that we were pushed to get to the airport and needed better. He told me we must give him a 2-hour notice for this. But he and I had already texted about the time the night before (and the reservation had been set up weeks before). The inbound pickup at the airport was on time, the driver was courteous and professional and texted me his status and he knew the area really well and the SUV was a newer model and clean. Initially, I was just going to grab an Uber back to the airport at the end of our trip since it's cheaper, but the private driver, setup and ease of working with Eric was so professional, it made me book the return too. After waiting close to another half hour for the cab, it finally showed up. It was a tiny Prius and instead of just being for me as promised, the driver squeezed two other people into the cab. More than two hours after landing, I finally was home. It literally took me longer to go from FLL to Boca than it did to fly from Virginia to Florida. A thoroughly disappointing experience.
