Called once, Dispatch would send a Driver. Driver called, was belligerent, rude regarding Guest language barrier. Called a 2nd time after over half and hour, was told "they would send yet another Driver". After another half an hour, 1 hour has passed in total; called, picked up after several dial-tones then hung up. This Taxi's Customer Service is very rude and would highly recommend to use any other service (Uber, Lyft, etc.), if possible. If i could give "no stars", i would however THIS is the lowest possible rating unfortunately. read more

Recently, my car was in the shop, so I needed a ride home. My mechanic called Yellow Cab, upon my request, and the cab showed up shortly afterwards. Cabbie was cordial. I was seated behind the driver. Then his cellphone started ringing with no one at the other end, multiple times. He was getting annoyed. He asked if I was calling him, I said no, which I wasn't calling him. He reached around to the back seat to a bag I had placed on the seat, grabbing at it. I guess he thought I was hiding my phone. My phone was in my purse and shut off, which I then told him. (I had not placed the call for a cab, my mechanic had called for me.) I was frightened a bit by this behavior, but tried successfully to converse with the cabbie and the rest of the ride was pleasant. I again used Yellow Cab to get a ride back to my mechanics place of business, had a different cabbie and ride was efficient and pleasant. read more

According to Websters dictionary reservations means......an arrangement to have something (such as a hotel room) held for one's use; also : a promise, guarantee, or record of such engagement When one makes a reservation for a pick up and is told repeatedly when calling to confirm and being told they are all set, would expect a cab to arrive to pick up a 94 year old great grandma on her way to her great granddaughters 1st birthday party that the cab would arrive as reserved!!!! Apparently @yellowcabbroward it means that making a reservation for their wheelchair accessible van is not guaranteed it's based on availability. If they have simply told me this when I made the reservation I would have made other arrangements and not had to deal with their rude employee. read more

Yellow Cab (954) 777-7777 put 4 of us into a very risky and stressful situation because of their lack of service and incompetence. While in Ft Lauderdale, on Dec 3 I called Yellow Cab (954) 777-7777 to reserve a pickup on Dec 11 at 8 AM to take 4 of us to the airport, for we had to be there by 8:30 AM. Yellow Cab (954) 777-7777 said that was no problem and plenty of time. My confirmation was #734987. On Dec 10, day before pickup, I called Yellow Cab (954) 777-7777 to confirm pickup at 8 AM and emphasized multiple times on call that taxi had to be on time because we had to be at airport by 8:30 AM. Yellow Cab (954) 777-7777 confirmed they would be there by 8 AM and no problem getting to airport on time. I even had all 4 of us listen to response on speaker. On Dec 11 at 7:52 AM I received a text message that taxi would be there at 8 AM and they gave another confirmation number of #23734987 to give to driver to guarantee our fixed rate to airport. At 8:05 AM taxi had not shown so I called Yellow Cab (954) 777-7777 to get status. To my horror they said, "they were still looking for an available taxi". Remember we had made a reservation over a week prior and I got multiple confirmations. I had to borrow a car to get my friends to the airport, for they HAD to be there by 8:30 AM, leaving my wife behind to still wait on taxi. I got back 40 minutes later, and taxi still did not show. Now my wife and I had to be at airport to catch our flight by 9:30 AM. I called Yellow Cab (954) 777-7777 again to get status. To my horror again they said, "they were still looking for an available taxi". Time was running out, so my wife and I had to find another way to airport. On our way to the airport, at 9:15 AM, I got a text from Yellow Cab (954) 777-7777, that our cab was at pickup location waiting on us ... an hour and 15 minutes late. I got a hold of Yellow Cab (954) 777-7777 to tell them since THEY were a NO SHOW, we had to find another ride. Then they had the audacity to tell me that since we weren't there at 9:15 AM, an hour and 15 minutes after our scheduled pickup time, that they classified US as a no show. I have called Yellow Cab (954) 777-7777 many, many times to file a complaint. Every time they transfer me to a voicemail to leave info ... but yet have NEVER called me back. read more

A group of us went to Tortuga and took an Uber from our house - the cost to get 10 miles was almost $40. We took Yellow Cab home - same distance but only $10. Besides the difference in cost, our Yellow Cab driver was more friendly - he cracked jokes with us all the way home. I choose Yellow Cab every time now. No surge pricing for the win! read more

I called for two taxis. The first came quickly and the driver was great. When I ordered a return, the cab never showed. I got a recorded call that they were rerouting someone. After 20 minutes, I called because the 2nd cab never showed. The male dispatcher said that they were sending an emergency call to get me. If no one showed after 20 minutes to call back. After 20 minutes, still no show. I called a second time and the female dispatcher said that I was the next pickup. After 20 minutes, still no cab. read more

DRIVER STOLE MY MONEY AND SPED OFF! This occurred at 2:30AM 03/29/18 and I am now posting this at 6:00AM. Had to take a taxi at 2:30 AM from the Fort Lauderdale Airport to an off site parking lot 1.5 miles away as the "24 hour facility" never answered my phone to send a shuttle to pick me up. Got into Yellow Cab Taxi #216. Told him it was 1.5 miles away and asked how much. He said "don't know yet." I said to him "how can you not know?" Asked him again as he started driving and he would not answer me. Asked again and he still didn't answer. He then dropped me off and said $20 and that he only takes cash. I argued with him as that is not true and that the price was ridiculous and that he refused to answer me when I kept asking how much. He said that is their minimum charge from the airport. I said why wouldn't you say that when I kept asking you how much. He then grabbed the money - I told him I will report him and he replied "do what you want." and sped off. Bottom line - The driver stole the phony cab fare. I immediately called the company and they said they will complete a "complaint form" and have a Customer Service Manager call me "within 72 hours." I threatened to call the police and demanded that the manager contact me later in the day and not "within 72 hours" as the rep said and told them the cab driver #216 should not be allowed to be at the airport in the meantime ripping off and stealing money. She put me on hold and called the driver and he supposedly told her "I gave him the money." Why would I give him money and then call a few minutes later? Bottom line - He stole my money and sped off stating "do what you want." read more

This is the WORST taxi service. I only gave it a one star because I couldn't leave it with no stars. I called at 925-930pm for a gentlemen that was dining at the restaurant I work at and they told me it was going to arrive in 15 minutes. I finished work at 10pm and he was still waiting outside!! I called back and they told me another 15 minutes!! I felt so bad, so I even waited with him until now ( 10:30pm ) and NOTHING! But yet I'll always see them driving around the area. read more

My car battery died in a strip mall. I had left my phone at home so I went to a store to borrow a phone and call for a cab so I could go home to get my phone and a ride back so I could wait for AAA. They said 5 to 15 minutes, 20 minutes later I called again, then my friend decided to start walking the 4 miles back home and hoped to be picked up along the way after the taxi would arrive to get me. Long story short, my friend made it home was able to drive back with our phones. By this time I had called a third time and a taxi had still not shown up. This is over 90 minutes later. The AAA guy arrived in 30 minutes and I'm still waiting for a taxi. read more

Had surgery scheduled today at 8am, April 10th. Scheduled a cab for 7am so I got to the hospital early. 7am comes and goes, cab is a no show. Call the company at 7:05am to find out what is going on and I'm told "your cab picked up the wrong person" even though I'd received a text message saying MY cab was on the way. Dispatcher acknowledges that I HAVE TO GET TO HOSPITAL before 8am and PROMISES a cab will be at my house soon. NOPE, another NO SHOW. Ended up having to drive myself and against hospital rules driving myself home after surgery. Yellow Cab of Broward WILL NEVER GET anymore of my $$$$$$$. Unreliable. Dishonest. After calling for a cab today at 4:14 to bring us home from the grocery store we were still waiting after 5 for a cab. Numerous calls resulted in nothing being done. This is without a doubt the worst transportation company in Broward County. I would rather walk on my hands and knees to my next destination then have to call these people again our food melted and thought out and now we are stuck with $100 worth of groceries that are not usable. They lie they tell you 5 minutes away well after over an hour and as I said numerous phone calls we got nowhere I finally had to threaten them with calling the Better Business Bureau and Department of Transportation and whatever company is in charge of public transportation in Broward County. Jesse Gattis is probably spinning in his grave the way this company that he works so hard for is so pathetic and I certainly hope they're out of business shortly beware before you use Yellow Cab if I could give this a 1/2 * I would but that option is not available read more
