I rarely submit reviews, but my experience at Elite Shutters and Blinds in Chandler has compelled me to do so at this time. Last week I brought their service department an 18 year old blind that perfectly matched 12 other blinds in the home. I had previously went to another repair service who told me that the blinds were unrepairable and I would need to replace them; and that the newer blinds would not match the older ones. Based on other Google Reviews, I went to Elite Shutters and Blinds and within 4 days, they beautifully repaired the blinds. Very impressed with both Morgan and Rob in the service department. The cord on our vertiglide broke. I contacted Elite Shutters & Blinds and within two days the vertiglide was repaired and reinstalled. Shopping for home improvement projects and vendors to lead those projects can prove to be a daunting task particularly when there are so many options to consider. When I finally arrived at a point where I needed to address my window coverings, I performed the usual consumer due diligence. I looked at Big Box stores, independent agents, privately owned companies, Internet research, etc. This resulted in more questions and admittedly more confusion. Update. After posting my negative review the owner of the company called me personally. While would have appreciation some recognition in their customer service failings, he told me he was ready to get the repairs made. I ordered the replacement blinds and when they came in they came out and installed them. The new owners of our old home said they did an excellent job and are very happy with the work. read more

Update on my shutters: Shortly after my review, Dave (owner) contacted me to try and resolve all the issues I've mentioned . He was apologetic and very professional. On 04/16/21 Rob (installation supervisor) reinstalled the brand new set of window shutters for my master bedroom and they looked great! Unfortunately, the additional shutter for the door had a minor crack- damage in the back frame. To Rob's credit, he pointed it out to me (which I would have never been aware of since it's out of sight) and gave me the option of reordering a new one, ( manufacturer's warranty. ) which I did. I'm currently waiting for the new door shutter to arrive and and hoping to finally be done with this project. (ordered back in October 16, 2020 ). read more

We have wanted to get an automatic room darkening patio door blind for years. Kept hearing the ad for this place on the radio. Called them and they came out quickly for a quote. The sales guy was prompt, professional and knowledgeable. We looked at the samples and he took measurements and discussed our options. He said that the follow Tuesday they would have the latest sample book if we wanted the absolutely latest options he can come back the following week. He did just that and was right! The newer color/pattern options were even better! He was prompt, professional and again knowledgeable. We chose our option and the price was fair. We ordered it and paid 75% down for the room darkening automatic patio door shade. And it should be ready in about 6-8 weeks. Well it was ready in about a month! So excited! The installation guys were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Went over everything with us on it and made sure we were happy with the product, final look and installation before leaving. We absolutely love it and now want to do the two new windows in the living room match. Highly recommend this company and will use them again! Maybe a lot more! Lol love the automation on the windows and the remote can have up to 6 on it. Everything from beginning to end was easy and they were efficient. Love the look! The pics don't do it justice. So much more beautiful in person. The texture and colors with the pattern match perfectly with the paint in our house. Keeps the living room cooler and see the tv clearer. Dismal product quality and ZERO customer service The previous owner of this house had Costco installing the sheer blinds and they did an outstanding job. Elite promised to match the quality, however like another said before, the installer was fine, the quality of the product is horrible. Measurements were not properly taken so the installer had to struggle with two of our windows covering. He was kind enough to let us know that one cover was defected and he will re-order it. Another blind was cut with the wrong measurements the and out of square so the gaps from the window jamb or visibly different and an eye sore. From the point we paid a full balance for close to 5K windows covering, none of our phone calls were returned. The rep (Morgan?) which made sure to return every phone call and keep us up to date, "evaporated" once she realized we had some issues. read more

Customer service communication is very poor. Loved the service for the initial purchasing of the products and had no issues with minor repairs needed of the woven woods and shutters. Since then, have had a warranty issue and the staff who came out were very reassuring that the it would be taken care of. I anticipated a delay and have been very patient however, this process started in approximately September 2023 and I have had very little follow-up from Morgan, one of staff members who has been working on the warranty issue. Apparently Graber no longer makes the same product that I have so I had to pick an alternative. I have had to reach out multiple times because when Morgan said she would follow-up, she did not and would not respond for several weeks. When I finally received a return phone call and voiced my frustration with the lack of communication she apologize said, "I'll do better" however, we are back in the same place - no response, no follow-through. Given this experience I would definitely look elsewhere for future purchases. read more
