An expensive mistake to associate with this team…read more I assigned my beautiful lakefront property to this team also known as Pink Door Management, Scates Realty, team of Elaine Meyers and Claire Fryer. They were very sweet and responsive initially and tried very hard to sell me into their property management platform. Once it was signed they moved quickly and got a tenant in without consulting with me or doing proper make ready for the place. I quickly realized they had no interest in taking care of my property, instead they were interested in collecting the fee. Half way through the first lease I sent independent inspector to walk through as I was not getting the response I needed from their team. The inspection results worried me. I ended up cutting the lease short and giving a termination notice to the tenant and the property management team. Once they knew I was terminating they stopped responding to my emails or calls. When tenant moved out I -the house was left a disaster - multiple lease violations (smoking, driving on grass, oil and urine stains everywhere). Still in the process of trying to amend the situation...

After several complaints against the lawn maintenance for using our water, not doing a complete job, leaving debris everywhere, and ripping our plants that we purchased and planted, nothing changed. The office said they're addressing it, but they won't. Never have. The women in the office, while nice, have no idea what they're doing. I've never rented from such an unorganized company, and I definitely won't make that mistake again. PS: The late fee here is astronomical. I've never seen a fee for as much as they charge. Save your money and peace of mind, rent from another company. I wish we had known how awful they were before we were stuck in a year lease.

My unit remained vacant for three months without a tenant or any discernible progress. My calls went unanswered, and I had to repeatedly contact her via text messages, to which she would typically respond two days later. When I brought my concerns to upper management, she attempted to rectify the situation, but unfortunately, it was beyond repair. Ultimately, I had to terminate the agreement. I then engaged a management company that proved to be exceptionally proactive and communicative. They successfully identified a new tenant within a week, and the tenant moved in the following week. It is truly regrettable to operate and work in such circumstances when one cannot conduct business professionally. Once applied , the person dodged our calls and emails after taking our application fees for weeks and then finally said "oh someone else applied and it's pending". No one else applied before we did , the manager dragged their feet for weeks after 27 phone calls and 8 emails. I look forward to their response on this one with some altered fabrication of Reality.
