Last week (12/11/16) I woke up to a cold house. I checked the thermostat and it was calling for…read moreheat but the furnace was not running. I looked and it was showing a code for an inoperable flame sensor. I have had this problem a couple years ago and all that was needed was to clean the sensor. I cleaned it, and the furnice still didn't run. I removed it and called the shop to see if they had one in stock. I was asked to come in so they could look at the sensor. Upon entering the front door, the receptionist asked to see the part and said that it looked OK to her but would show Ken and see if he thought it was good. Ken came out, we talked about what was happening to the furnace and what I had already done and said that it could probably be cleaned up some more and took it to the back to clean it. When he came back a few minutes later and handed it to me. He also told me a few things to check out and he also gave me prices for the parts that may need to be replaced. When I got home I put the part in and the furnace fired right up and has worked since. The personal attention that I received was top notch and something I haven't seen in a long time from any company. I WILL be going back if needed for service or parts and if any of my friends ask who I would recommend, I will recommend Ken Hardin heating.

They provided sound advice and great contractor management. They vet their contractors well and when a contractor falls short, in my personal experience, Cummings was very quick to boot them out and bring in a better contractor. Brian and Danielle at Cummings are especially great. I see some previous negative reviews and it makes me wonder if the reviewers were actually having a bad experience due to their board. Your association board and management company have different roles and responsibilities. Cummings was not only professional, they were also really personable and friendly. I would live in another of their managed properties anytime!
