The showroom people were very nice! The gentlemen that showed up to sell us the pool cleaning service and the cleaning guys themselves were all great! Typically I would hang outside and watch as they cleaned and the pool was spotless everytime! All the dirt removed minus a couple small stains in the shallow end! Today I decided to hang inside and not bother them to see what quality of work they'd do without me there. I went outside and saw dirt ring around the entire edge of the pool, the walls still dirty and the shallow end stairs still dirty around the edge. I said hey, let me write them to let them know that the job that was done was a complete joke this time. I get a call from the owner of this franchise who is immediately edgy from the start of the conversation! He was immediately trying to defend his guys, who I wasnt attacking, as good kids who wouldnt do poor work. Then, when I explained that the cleaning job has been great while I've been outside he immediately says they will cancel my service cause they arent going to deal with this every week! What a terrible way to run a business! I would love to give more stars for the genuine quality of the other workers at the store but I just cant due to piss poor manner in which the owner acted on the phone! In open transparancy, I ended this call very vularly and badly due to being angry at the garbage attitude of the owner but I had messaged them initially with just the intention of reporting some flaws in the service in hopes to improve it going forward. They claimed that they could save the original waterline tile and they discovered that they couldn't after the company took off the waterline tile because the waterline tile could not be saved. We were forced to sign an addendum for thousands more to compete the work. So I feel entitled to leave two reviews instead of an update. The second issue, as described below, is their refusal to properly connect the new swimming pool pump. The new pump sends the water straight to the sewer and not through the filters when set for normal operation. The valve should have been replaced with the pump. In addition, the company supplied a pump that was not compatible with the existing automation system without notifying or discussing it with us first. We have contacted: 1. custorecare@anthonyslyvan.com on June 6 2. the project manager by email on June 16 3. info@anthonyslyvan.com on June 20 4. the phone number associated with the warranty line on June 20 5. a case was filed in their system for warranty claims on June 20 There has been no response from Anthony Sylvan. None. And yes, it does require a former engineer for the oil industry to oversee the quality of their work. If you plan to get a luxurious enjoyable pool without a graduate degree in engineering, choose a different company. I have the same complaints as the other complaining customers. Anthony Sylvan is consistent at making customers unhappy.
