Even a few days later, when I thought of more things to ask, he was quick to respond and made sure I got the info I needed. I asked a lot of off the wall things, but he was patient and made sure I understood the explanation of different types of patios and materials. Before starting the project, he walked me through the plan and introduced me to my project manager, Luis. Luis was great, he kept me updated the whole way, even during the first week when I was out of town. I had no worries and I was able to enjoy my vacation while full on construction was going on at my home. Every crew that came out, roofing, painting, cement, told me what they were there to do and asked if I had any questions before getting started. I also have to mention Blanca in the office, every time I called, she was so friendly and easy to talk to, it was like I'd known her for years. The end result? My patio is beautiful! I was torn between putting money down on a larger home and moving, or building a patio to add square footage for gatherings. I am so happy I went with a new patio instead of the debt of a new home. I had to personally put getting any remodeling and home additions on hold while I cared for my dad for over a year. We talked about my patio dream before he passed in March. I was so impressed that I decided to expand the project to a pergola with columns to match the ones he did on the patio and an extended patio plus tiered flooring. When David and his team were finished I wanted to scream. It definitely made my vision a reality. David is by far the most professional contractor I've worked with (I've worked with a few). He is very responsive and truly listens to the client to ensure that he understands their vision for the project. I was on vacation in New York while the project was moving forward. David texted me daily updates with pictures as they occurred. He also showed me the care that his crew had for my furniture. They covered it all in plastic. He asked me to meet with him several times during the project to ensure we were on the same page. He even offered solutions as the project evolved. I wish I had found him sooner. I have zero regrets after working with him on my backyard Reno. Soooo happy I found him. He is honest and fair with his pricing for the excellent quality of work they produce. He even reminded me to get him a punch list. Like 2 items. I'm OCD about things (he found out this) so for me not to find anything major to fix is impressive. Other companies quoted me but did not fully disclose added costs of inspections and add on costs like extra outlets, fans, lights and so forth. When another company said they would put the posts 3' down cause that was all that was needed, this company put the posts 4' down, and insured that the patio structure was not only beautiful, but met windstorm requirements as well. I have waited 13 years to have my patio built, and couldn't be more excited to finally have my dream patio! It is BEAUTIFUL!!!!
