Several times after agreeing on the scope of work and payment Eric seemed to want to change what was agreed on. (payment and work) Micro-managing Eric was exhausting. End result was not what I had repeatedly told Eric. I had marked specific broken bricks for him and they did not get replaced. I told Eric to please match the caulking color. I asked him several times if he would have any issues doing any of these things and he repeatedly said he wouldn't. In the end I paid the full $950 for the work done.

Throughout the process, Eric consistently failed to show up at the times he committed to. What was originally estimated to be a 4-5 day project ended up dragging on for over a month. During that time, I had to contact Eric repeatedly--at least five to six times--to remind him that the work was still incomplete. Despite the lack of progress, he persistently pressured me for payment. Eventually, out of sheer frustration, I paid him in full, even though the job had not been completed. To make matters worse, the work site was left in a mess. My yard was cluttered with debris, and there was no proper cleanup effort. Stephen came out to look at the patio, walk through our options, and get us a quote, which all took less than an hour. We let him know our biggest concern was color, and that we wanted something that would match our house, and not just a flat white color that looks out of place. So Stephen came back the very next day with samples of all different sorts of color options, we found one that matched our brown accents perfectly, and we were set! Colin was awesome too, and he took some time to visit with us on what we were looking for in more detail, what design we wanted, how we wanted the pergola spaced out for shade, fan options, outlet options, etc. He helped us lay out everything we wanted, and answered every question we had. Rodrigo and Paris were great with the construction. They got the whole thing built out starting at 8:30am, and finished by 3! It was incredible! All that materials making it up to the 4th floor with absolutely no scraping the outside of the house, and didn't have to bring in anything through the house and up the stairs. Everything was just cut and hoisted straight from the backyard to the roof. When we had one small request after completion to change the alignment of the piece that the ceiling fan would screw into, they came out and got it adjusted immediately without any hesitation. AND! They always wore masks. Whenever they were in our house they were always respectful of social distancing and sanitizing their ipads for us, etc. We so appreciated that. We love it, it looks great, it'll last forever, and we know that if we have any questions pop up down the road, that Stephen, Colin, and Rodrigo and crew will get us taken care of. This turn out to be untrue he purchased paint from Sherwin Williams which said for siding but he painted the bricks on the side of our house with it. Larry also painted our driveway with a paint that is really slippery when wet. He also didn't go with the colors that we requested.. Larry left our job incomplete and has refused to return. He removed gutters and didn't put them back up. Larry also left wire hanging. We were overseas while the work was done on our home. He cut boards out of our fence didn't repair it and left long nails sticking out. We have since had to hire a fence contractor to repair our fence. The German Smear is a horrible mess, some of the bricks got damaged while they were pressure washing . Our house has many areas of brick that no stain. The German Smear is incomplete. I am sorry that I took so look to post this review. i pray not to many have been scammed by Larry. This is not a contractor that I would recommend to my worst Enemy. If it were possible to give a -10, I would. Larry actually laughed at us and said read the contract the way it is written there is no recourse for you.
