Went for services. Got some nice pictures of my truck and thought I got the services I requested…read moreand paid for. A few weeks later my truck was having issues so I went to my regular mechanic. In fixing the issue, he found that my filter was not changed and my oil was extremely dirty. Further, my dipstick was rusted away and had only half of it left. I'd expect if Blue Ridge actually did an oil change the filter would have been changed, the oil would not be nearly black, and they would have mentioned that my dipstick was rusted away (because who does an oil change without first checking the oil levels?). This revelation brought everything else they claimed to have done into question. My new tires are starting to wear like the old ones did so I suspect the alignment really didn't happen either. I don't know why they would treat me this way, and I don't care. I'm never going back there again as I have been given an alternative place for the services I went to Blue Ridge for, by people in the mechanic/tire industry that I know I can trust. Obviously Blue Ridge doesn't need my business and will be continuing without it. I suppose the $250 I spent was the cost of learning this valuable lesson.

It ended up the alternator was bad. We took it back to this shop and had it replaced. Went to pick it up and my car wouldn't start. We had to jump it off In the parking lot. I then replaced the battery. Not even 6 month later my alternator went out on my way to vacation. I was 5 hours away and had to stop and replace it. I called Marks when I got home and was told it was under warranty but they had to have the original one back. I explained to her I had to give it to the part store so avoid a fee. she told me without the original alternator they would not warranty it out, or refund me the cost of the new alternator. Do not waste your time with this business. They will not stand behind their work or the parts they replace. You want a good mechanic go see Chris at Blue Ridge Tire and Break at 336-846-8473.

I cannot recommend buying a new vehicle here based on my experience. My Yukon is only 3 months old,…read moreand within 1-2 months of purchase the entire dashboard screen went blank -- taking HVAC controls, backup and surround cameras, and other core functions with it. I was told a replacement screen is not available, with no timeline for a fix. I was told all new GMC's are likely to have this defect. For a nearly new luxury SUV, losing climate and camera functions is a real safety and usability issue. Future buyers should ask directly about screen defects, parts availability, and buyback or loaner options before signing.
