Dr Boz is my angel! I found him on Yelp and decided to give him a shot, going out on a whim here. I…read morehad seen multiple doctors but i wanted someone who specialized in endometriosis. Someone who has "seen it all" and knew their stuff. I had a laparoscopy 11 years ago for endometriosus and they told me it would never come back- they were wrong. One day at work, I had "waive pains"- sudden sharp pain which would peak for 30 seconds at a time. Lasted 10 minutes and I almost went to ER. My Regular doctor said don't worry it was prob just a cyst that burst. My husband suggested I get a second opinion. These waive pains were the worst, but i also felt regular dulled pain ~20 days a month. I was getting my hair done one day while searching yelp- Found Dr Boz. Sent an inquiry to dr Boz office and the following day they called me back to get me in that week. Consult went well. Gave me a full explanation of what he thought it was. He said he was 90 percent sure my bowel was stuck to pelvic wall and he recommended surgery. He said when they do a Lapp surgery they might not cut out the entire lesion, and the robotic machine is an advanced newer approach that is much more accurate and complete when removing endometriosis. He was right- I had the robotic Surgery 2 weeks later and he unattached the bowel tissue that was stuck! He even gave me his cell in case I needed anything post surgery. I feel amazing and am so thankful he removed all of my endometriosis. I am grateful doctors like him still exist ! They are so rare these days.

I have never left a review for anything in my life, but I am leaving a review for Dr. Boz because…read morein the midst of my last acute endo episode, I read these same reviews to give myself hope. Lying in pain, I must have scoured every review and assured myself that like these women, I would soon feel better. I had no idea just how much better and how quickly that would be. I came to Dr. Boz after years of doctors appointments, ultrasounds, ER visits, and chronic seemingly unrelated symptoms that had always been dismissed as normal or somehow in my head. My symptoms were progressive and escalated over the past six years. In the past year, they have manifested in the following ways and more: debilitating "electric-shock" type pain at seemingly random times in the month, dull aches radiating through my abdomen, back, and legs almost constantly, chronic fatigue, migraines, and muscle tension due to bracing against pain. My symptoms required me to miss work, made me afraid to make commitments, made many of my favorite physical activities painful, and generally constrained and contracted the scope of my daily life in ways I've only recently begun to understand. Perhaps most insidiously, the anticipation of unexpected episodes of acute pain caused a general looming anxiety and exhaustion. The repeated dismissal of my symptoms by doctors made me feel weak or overdramatic and caused me to question my perception of reality. From the moment I stepped foot in his office, Dr. Boz made me feel so listened to, respected, and perhaps most importantly, exhilaratingly optimistic about the future. He was warm, efficient, and communicative. After a conversation in his office where he listened to my symptoms, he conducted a pelvic ultrasound and physical exam. Gynecological exams normally really stress me out, but this was easy and reassuring because I felt heard and taken seriously from the start. Based upon this information, Dr. Boz determined I had endometriosis. He assured me my symptoms were not in my head and he would find and excise the disease. I left feeling hopeful, though despite his confidence, I feared that he wouldn't find anything up until the literal moment I woke up from surgery . Dr. Boz told me this is common- after years of being dismissed, many women start to internalize these notions. Thank God I was proven wrong and woke up to the news that Dr. Boz had found and removed the endometriosis. He even provided photos immediately after to explain and demonstrate what he'd done (for me it was really validating and cathartic to see the physical confirmation of what I'd been experiencing). The surgery was very smooth. The nursing team and staff at Lennox hill were warm and supportive, and the space is sleek and full of light. Dr. Boz's confidence and positivity are infectious, and he had me smiling and laughing moments before surgery. He even mobile-ordered coffee for my mother and boyfriend! (I suspect to give them somewhere to walk to keep their nerves down while he operated). Dr. Boz followed up with me every day via whatsapp and facetime the first few days after surgery, and made himself very available for any questions or concerns. I'm just about 10 days out now and feeling pretty much fully healed. My incision sites are so small and healing well- some literally look like paper cuts. The past few days, I am continually noticing the ways this disease was impacting my daily life and have been amazed at how much more transformative healing has been than I even expected. The absence of this pain is much more far-reaching than just the absence of pain; it is the presence of a new and expanded way of being that is not defined by fear. Dr. Boz is someone I will be grateful to for the rest of my life.

Arrogant, rude, with a complete lack of basic medical bedside manner or even basic people's skills. She spends more time talking about herself than actually listening. And to top it all, after I had discussed with the office manager how unpleasant the doctor and the appointment had been, and that I was never coming back to that practice, she approaches me while I am checking out to try to upsell me their "remote nutritional counseling" service! He walked in, acknowledged me with a handshake, took the time to listen to my concerns & was not rushing to leave the treatment room as most doctors usually are! Also, the secretary & person adding my information into their system before I saw the doctor were also very nice. I am glad I found such a great doctor & would highly recommend him to everyone.

I went to her 5/21/2024. She reviewed my history and had some concerns for my very early pregnancy (4weeks) . She gave me her concerns because of my past miscarriages and one ectopic pregnancy but spoke more about me losing my baby rather than trying to see the positive. This was after she confirmed the baby was in my uterus. I didn't appreciate her negativity (which it felt like) but I understood what she warned me about. Her assistant called me to come in ASAP to check if my HCG levels were increasing. I told her assistant I was not entirely comfortable going because of the more negative than positive the doctor was focused on. Dr. Maria Pachon then called me to let me know it's safer to come in sooner than later because as of right now everything seems ok but eventually I may lose my baby because of my history, but as of now everything is ok. She refused to hear me out when I said she's being negative and said she wasn't she's basically being realistic. I reminded her "I UNDERSTAND AND UNDERSTOOD EVERYTHING YOU TOLD ME ! Stop giving me good information then telling me but maybe eventually the baby won't make it" After every sentence she ended it with a reminder that I most likely won't be able to carry my baby. She is extremely insensitive and I found that to be highly unprofessional, ESPECIALLY AS A WOMAN DOCTOR. Shame on her.

From the moment we met Dr Govindani it was meant to be- a new OB at the practice where I had been going and we wanted to start trying for a family. I spent a lot of time at this office throughout my pregnancy and it was wonderful. Sure the appointments ran a little late at times but that's to be expected when you're dealing with the unpredictable nature of when babies decide to be born. Dr Govindani is so friendly, approachable, professional, and I completely trusted her to go through such a special time of my life with me. We had close communication throughout but especially towards the end of my pregnancy. My birthing experience with her at Hackensack UMC was- not to sound cheesy, what I had dreamed of- and what I wanted, as best as could be accommodated. Now I'm home with my baby and would happily recommend the practice to anyone! Kind of sad I won't be going back until a few weeks for my follow up visit!

Since you "can't get sick from the flu shot" then someone at the clinic wasn't clean enough when they injected me, or drew my blood. Four weeks later I still have vertigo from the infection. I would have gone to the emergency room earlier but I was waiting on a return phone call from Dr. Miller, which never came. I informed the receptionist that it was an emergency and she said that the Dr didn't have office hours for another four hours. I told her AGAIN that the call was an EMERGENCY and that I needed to talk to the Dr IMMEDIATELY about my condition: The message was NEVER relayed. I had to call her back, to which she said she'd never received the message. Are you pregnant? Is this how you want your Dr and her clinic to treat you? Think twice before going here. If I knew a great lawyer I'd sue.

I will never go here again and have had a better experience and treatment with my second pregnancy with a more experienced midwife elsewhere. I won't recommend this place to anyone. Lonnie, Kate; Please take more time to be sympathetic to your patients, understanding, and practice what you preach! live up to the high standards of "reclaiming birth" that you all swear by when accepting new patients.
