I obtained Elite Limo services for a toy drive fundraiser from Oroville, Ca to Healdsburg, Ca on 12/1/23. Wayne was our driver. As soon as we left the driveway I was nervous. He obviously did not map his route before picking us up as he was asking us for directions. He could not even get out of the neighborhood. As we were driving I felt extremely unsafe as his driving was erratic and he slammed on the breaks quite a few times. Another passenger in the limo noticed he was not paying attention to the road (it appeared he was looking at his phone) and scolded him about it. We made it to Calusa Ca and the driver informed us he was feeling ill and had to pull over to use a restroom. After using the restroom he came back to the limo and told us he wasn't feeling well and needed to call his employer to see if someone could pick us up and continue. His boss Randy basically told him to suck it up and continue driving us. After a few miles I noticed his eyes were closing as we were vering off the road. Another passenger told him to pull over and had to talk and guide him to a safe spot for us to pull over. Everyone in the limo felt as if he was coming off of some kind of drug and wasn't really "sick." We attempted to call the owner Randy and could not get a hold of him. Not knowing what else to do another passenger who has his "Class A" license drove the limo back to Loves Truck Stop in Williams Ca where we called for a friend to pick us up. We contacted the owner of Elite Limo and he was not helpful. We each paid $135 per ticket to go to the fundraiser and never made it because if HIS driver. While waiting for our ride Wayne informed us he was already in trouble with his boss because he had forgotten to pick up a group the weekend before and did not want us to ask his boss to refund the money for our tickets as he would pay us back for them. After our ride picked us up we called CHPand reported our driver Wayne as we did not feel he should be driving at all. Our day was ruined and we never made it to Healdsburg for the fundraiser. I will NEVER use Elite Limo. The owner does not care about passenger safety and is obviously willing to put lives in the hands of an unsafe driver. read more

Very frustrating! Called to rent a limo on A Sunday morning. The website says 2 hour minimum and $95 an hour. Was quoted $125 an hour and a 3 hour minimum on the phone. When I said that's not what the website says, Randy replies "yay, the website is wrong". Will not be using them just based off of their false advertising! read more

Having used Elite Limo a few times, I can honestly say they are terrific. Have done Christmas Light tour (which is the bomb) and also a trip down to the wine country, both of which were wonderful. I really was surprised to see negative comments. I guess every business can have some negative comments, but I can't think of anything negative to say. We all chipped in to head to Santa Clara to tailgate at a Niners game and for my little brother to propose. The vehicle sound was terrible. It sounded like a few speakers were blown out. The driver had to keep asking us for directions to the stadium. Driver actually got lost a few times on the way back and when we got back into town the driver charged us extra for the overtime. How is it our responsibility that the driver got lost and took an extra few hours. Disappointed with the driver and company that would allow this. read more

In response to Randy's comment on my review: I am a girl, not a "he." If the business does not remember my specific phone call, then they should not be commenting as though they do remember it. I did not exaggerate what happened. I also believe that companies shouldn't have to boast about all of their experience over competitors just to attempt to coerce people to use their service. VIP Limo was the limo company I went with for my event, and we had a wonderful time. The person I spoke to at Elite reminded me of a used car salesman, and I do not appreciate that style of business. ***Another update*** They couldn't admit that they made the mistake of calling me a "he" in their original comment on my review, so they rewrote it. It changed from "He was told..." to, "We at Elite..." and, "We tried to meet his..." to, "We did try to meet this customer's...." They can't even just admit their mistake. If a company is trying to be that perfect, then there must be something wrong. Also, go ahead and check out those filtered 4 & 5 star reviews Randy D was complaining about....The 5 star review is the only review the person on that account has made. The 4 star is only the 2nd for the person on that account. AND Randy D himself had a comment from January of this year removed for violating yelp's rules. :) I could go on for days! read more

Okay...if the response from "Heather" (love the quotes throughout btw) isn't proof of the "outstanding" customer service, I don't know what is. But I will clarify a few things for "Heather" and call out the complete lies in the response. 1) The fiber optic lights malfunctioned during the first rental, speakers on the second. 2) Upon arrival of the limo for trip 2 (which was late) without working speakers, of course we said no problem...seriously, what other option is there? We try to always make the best of any situation. Not really sure what point Heather is trying to prove there... 3) It takes longer than 45 minutes to get to Sleep Train in Wheatland and park then 45 minutes...just saying. And again, it should not matter how long we were in the vehicle, yet another invalid point to make 4) We went over an hour because of the time the concert got out. We were "having such a great time" with Luke Bryan...not in the limo...brilliant spin though Heather 5) It was the first limo we rented that was supposed to have the ceiling that changed color which was for a larger group. Now for the really fun part, I spoke with the "actual client" (one of my best friends) and had her read Heather's response... 6) Per her conversation with Randy, she was offered no future discounts of any kind. Period. 7) SHE ALSO HAS NOT AND WILL NOT BE BOOKING WITH ELITE FOR OUR NEXT CONCERT. Her response when I asked was not appropriate to type on a public forum, but included several expletives. Last, as I stated in the original review, we did love both our driver's and wanted to convey to the management that our irritation with the service had absolutely nothing to do with their drivers. Perhaps "Heather" should take a lesson in courtesy and customer service from these wonderful drivers...Bottom line, happy customers make repeat customers. As with the last person who left a low review, attacking someone for voicing an honest and accurate description of events, then making excuses/defending issues with equipment you put on the road (or stating outright lies) is not the right approach to handling an issue. Additionally, the disrespectful tone taken in these responses from Heather completely lack class and will only discourage further people from booking with this company. Driver was very nice but ill prepared to take a trip to Santa Clara. Did not even know how to get to the I-5 from Chico. Due to his lack of understanding the quickest routes we had no time to tailgate. Music or lack thereof was a serious problem and we spent most of the trip with no music at all. Speakers were terrible and person from elite stated the car would come with an auxiliary plug which it did not. All the music downloaded and prepared for the birthday celebration was for not. Air conditioning was spotty at best. I would not recommend elite for limo needs. They did not deliver the experience as advertised and even the soda that came with the package was expired. They need to do some upgrades. read more

ZERO STARS IS MORE LIKE IT. I used this company a few years back for my parents 50th anniversary. The first thing I noticed upon the limos arrival was the SMELL. It smelled as if someone vomited and then left it in the hot sun to bake. Keep in mind that this was in the middle of June, so it was quite hot outside; you would think that the great Beverly Hills Bob (driver) would have enough common sense to turn on the A/C in the cabin before picking up his clients, of course not! So, before even picking up the guests of honor, this experience was already a disaster. I quickly turned on the A/C to feel gusts of HOT air flowing through the vents. Bob said it would take a while for the air to circulate but it would eventually cool down, Needless to say we were all passengers in a vomit infused steamer for over an hour, and the A/C never worked. The leather seats were held together with black duck tape in at least 10 spots. The glassware was dirty, the interior mirror wall was cracked and glued back together. The driver was OK, but nothing to boast about. But the SMELL and the HEAT were UNBEARABLE. I have used a limo service 100+ times in the past, and I have never dealt with such an inept company! After reading others reviews there seems to be one consistent pattern: THEY DO NOT CARE. Maybe "Heather T" should spend more time listening to her clients concerns (and possibly fix them) ; and less time trolling yelp to argue with the people who have already PAID her! UPDATE (Thx to Heather's all to common automated response) A "false" review would be one which gave this company anything greater than one star. (Such as the review the company OWNER Randy posted, which had to be removed for violating yelps policy) I just now posted the review because I was planning a trip and researching transportation costs. I happened to stumble upon this review page and noticed how there are several similar experiences to mine, so I thought I would share. The driver did everything possible to alleviate this situation, unfortunately, according to him, all remedies that he proposed would be coming out of HIS OWN pocket. Which did not seem fair to anyone in our party, so we just dropped it and moved on. Also, it seems comical that Heather keeps directing people to YP.com or BBB.org for unbiased reviews, both sites are PAID ADVERTISERS for her company, so of course only positive reviews appear. This is the WORST service ever!! We were supposed to have the same driver both ways. That didn't happen. Neither driver knew how to get from Paradise to SFO or from SFO back to Paradise. WTF??? They already charged me $930 for the trip then added 2 extra hours. One hour each way. The driver on the way home kept playing on his cellphone, Smelled of BO, almost rear-ended SEVERAL cars. He also stood in my driveway for 15 minutes expecting more of the 20% tip I had already paid, then kept complaining about how he wouldn't get home until 2am because he still had to drive to SAC to pick up another client. Also kept bothering me to hire his wife to do massage, WTF? I just got home from a long trip. STFU and drive me home!!! I would not ever recommend this company to anyone. When I called them to dispute the extra charges the man on the phone was so rude!!! I am a local business owner and I will be sure to never recommend this company to any of my customers. You know a little gratitude for business goes a long way. Maybe you need to learn what customer service is. Elite Limousine service was hired to take the family of the bride to her wedding. I am a member of this family and was along for the ride. When the driver picked us up from the hotel he told me he did not know where we were going. I told him I know and will give him directions. When we entered the limo it was very cramped, it felt like we were stuffed in. Since the driver did not know where we were going I thought it was odd he did not make sure i was in a possition to communicate with him. The limo was stuffy and A/C barley did its job. As we departed the hotel to go to the wedding we didn't make it very far. We started going up highway 32 ,a few miles later the limo overheats and has to pull over on the side of the highway. At this point everybody is out of the limo standing on the side of the highway in 100 degree heat all dressed up and HOT! The driver opens the hood of the limo and then the trunk. In the trunk is a gallon of anti-freeze (perhaps because this limo has a known problem) and a cooler full of soft drinks. Driver takes anti -freeze back to the front of the car and just stays there as if he is trying to avoid us. He never offers us one of the soft drinks. A member of our party asked the driver can another limo come get us and was told no, there are no other limos available. We then asked are we SOL his reply was "i guess so maybe you might want to call a cab. He did nothing to aid or to try to make comfortable the members of who he was serving. He did not offer to call a cab for us he did not offer us anything except his absence as he hung out in front of the limo far away from the rest of us. The kicker is ,we all finally made it to the wedding without the service of elite limo but they show up at the wedding hours later with a different limo. The driver just stood around and stood around. Finally he was asked why he was there, since his services were not used to get us there they were not needed to return us to the hotel besides the fact nobody wanted to get in is limo at this point anyway.They did not provide the service they were contracted to,seems that driver wanted to drive someone away from the wedding so they can say service was provided and contract filled. Finally mother of the bride asked driver why he is here ,he stated he was to drive people back from the wedding.She told him off and told him nobody is riding with you .At this point driver asked mother of the bride for a signature on his paper work. She told him she is not signing anything and get the hell out of here. This was by far my worst limo experience ever,from lack of knowing where we were going to faulty equipment ,lack of personalism and apology from the driver, and to show back up at the wedding after not bring one person to the wedding to take people back tells me they trying to be in a position to say they served and filled contract. The groom and the bride have spent much time on the phone with elite limo since, requesting a refund. read more

We hired Elite to pick up a guest from Oakland airport and drive them to Red Bluff in Northern California. I found only one other company who quoted me $725! Elite was much less. Elite said it would be about a three and a half hour drive. Driver Ali was absolutely on time. Met the guest and drove her to Red Bluff. She said he was very pleasant and professional. They had terrible traffic to contend with and Ali never lost his cool. He delivered her to us exactly on time at the designated place. The car was comfortable and he drove very well. We recommend Ali and Elite and will definitely use them again. read more

First off, I think the driver was a nice driver and did what he could with what he had. The company itself needs some work. -H2 limo was out of date, tears and stains throughout. Air conditioning only worked in part of the limo. TV screens did nothing. We were promised an auxiliary plug in for music and did not bring speakers because of that and the limo did not so we listened to staticy music the whole trip. -The driver had his ipad on his lap the whole time and was used for directions which he still had no clue where to go. Took the longest route possible to the venue, had no clue how to enter the venue and we were told we would have "the most experienced driver" which if you are any type of business person you prepare and figuring all that out before picking us up would have made a big difference. Driver was late and got lost picking us up. Due to him not knowing how to get into levi stadium parking we lost 45 min or more of tailgating. -Driver was very accommodating and allowed us to stay after the game to tailgate. The owners of this company wanted to charge us additional fees for being over our time limit which is due to the lack of planning on their part and were sooooooo kind not to charge us. If a company had such bad remarks against them and knew how word of mouth works in this town they would have better customer service and actually refund us some money because what we paid for and expected was NOTHING like the experience we got. Spend some of the money you over charge and put it into your company and refresh your limos. This isn't the first bad experience I've heard. A girlfriend spent her bachlorette party in a broken down limo with no air conditioning in the middle of summer and the company was also rude to them as well. If you're looking for a limo service with good customer service keep looking cause you won't find it here. My son and friends paid for an evening of service to and from a concert and ended up in an accident about 2-3 miles from their destination. Accidents do happen we get that but the lack of concern and professionalism afterwards was unbelievable!! My son and his group had to call friends from inside the concert to come get them which they missed half of due to the accident. The driver never spoke to them after the accident no how are you....is everybody ok.....Nothing! My son called the owner....Randy to see what the plan was and how they were suppose to get home. He was told he would be given a discounted rate IF he could find them a ride. My son said oh no he wouldn't, he had already paid $630 and wasn't paying any more plus planned on getting his money refunded. Randy told him this would not be happening. At this point my son is livid and said he would be calling Randy in the morn but he will be getting his money back. Randy proceeds to tell my son if he's gonna take that approach then he can find his own way home. All got home but with no help on Randy's part. The next day my son asked me to call to discuss the issue cause he had had enough. I called and someone answered the phone so I asked to speak to the owner or manager. The man on the phone said he wasn't there and would have to get back to me. He proceeded to ask my number and I gave it to him. He asked my name I told him. He then asks what it's regarding, he was being real short and seemed agitated. There is no way he knew I was related or connected to the accident group at this point. I told him it was regarding an accident. He starts stuttering and saying I would get a call back. I said WAIT....are you him? Are you the owner? From this point I GET HUNG UP ON!! I called back to only get the company voicemail. I tried from 3 phones. He never answered the phone. So my son and my husband preceded to drive to the business. In short he did issue a full refund with no apologies or anything. So again if you want top or even decent customer service I would avoid this business!! This is a terrible company. Terrible customer service!! Didn't even bother to call us and let us know two of their vehicles had broken down. We had to contact them, when they were expected to arrive, and they said they had two limos in the shop. (Why weren't we notified when they weren't sure if they'd be able to provide their service??) We were given our drivers name, but his phone went straight to voicemail. When someone finally called, an hour after they were supposed to be here, the man was very rude, and since our host was unavailable at that moment, he rudely said for her to call back and then hung up the phone!! He didn't even give us the time to get our host, and he called from a restricted number, so we were unable to call back. They are two hours late and have not bothered to call us back and tell us what is going on. We had a whole Christmas party planned around a limo ride to look at Christmas lights. This company has treated us horribly and so far has done nothing to remedy the situation. We paid $380 in advance and signed a contract. We had a tip jar set out and all guests knew to contribute for the driver. And nothing. Total bull****!! Do not use this company. They are rude and inconsiderate. Their voicemail says they serve all of the North Valley.... but they don't. They do absolutely nothing. read more

Elite limo in chico is by far the best limo service. Heidi the receptionist was very nice, patient with my delay on booking and very professional. I arranged for the limo to take my daughter and her cheer squad for a ride after they had there cheer competition. The day was crazy and we were running hours behind. Our driver Danny was very patient and kind to wait for us and change our pick up time. He arrived on time and absolutely the most wonderful person in the world. He was professional, sweet, perfect gentleman. He was able to meet the young girls and associate on there level. The girls absolutely loved him. The night was absolutely perfect. We owe it all the Danny, our limo driver. He will definitely be the first and only driver I call for in the future. Thank you Danny. read more

Terrible customer service. I recently booked a trip with this company for wine tasting in the Napa Valley with 10 women for a 40th birthday. The driver was having difficulties with the tire all day and stated that he was exhausted from driving to Napa the day before. He arrived without any of the maps I had emailed to the company for our destination stops, which we had appointments that were paid for. We arrived over an hour late for our first stop because he missed the 505 turn off.. Then he went to get his tire repaired while we did our first tasting, luckily the winery let us do our scheduled tour. The second winery wasn't as happy to accomodate us but nonetheless let us complete our second tour. After the final stop we left Napa to drive home. The tire went completely flat and we had to pull off the side of the highway right outside of Napa. The driver had a dead battery on his cell phone, no towing service so he asked us to use our AAA card or we would be stuck there. We called AAA and the tow truck driver was unable to fix the flat because the bar used to remove the spare was missing from the car. Finally one of the ladies on the trip called the fire department to come and help us. They were unable to help us because the spare was unmovable. A local limo company stopped and offerered us a ride home.. Mind you this is 4 hours after the original break down. The owner of Elite limo, Randy, hung up repeatedly on our calls for help. The driver, Wayne, had to use our cell phones to call and try to get Randy to help us. The Napa limo company took us home safely and we compensated them with the tip we had reserved for the end of our Elite tour. Our Elite Limo driver had the audacity to ask for his tip before we were escorted safely into the new limo. Unfortunately we were saving the tip for the driver that actually safely delivered us home.. I would never use Elite Limo service again and would recommend all others to do the same. We were just lucky to arrive home safely! read more

I spoke with Randy from Elite limousine service. I had scheduled a limo for an event the following week. Due to unfortunate circumstances I was not able to make the scheduled trip to the concert that my friends and I had planned. I called Randy to explain to him that we had to cancel and that we understood that we would have to forfeit our deposit. He began talking right over the top of me and insisting that my friends pay me for the limo and still go. When I said "no thanks," he continued to talk right over the top of me saying that they should then call him and book the limo themselves. After having to directly speak over him for several minutes of his pushy "sales" and again saying "NO THANKS, JUST CANCEL THE LIMO" he let me know that I had already been billed for the entire service. When I asked for a refund for all of it except the deposit, he stated that he needed it to be in writing. I wrote down on a piece of paper from my purse that I would like a refund and he then exclaimed that I needed to go home and send it in an email as that was "policy." I tried to use his phone to call home and have an email sent so that I could be sure I received my refund; however, he physically accosted me and grabbed the phone out of my hands!! I told him that I was not leaving without my refund as I did not receive the service and should not be billed for it. He then actually phoned the police. Unbelievable!!! The officer that showed up suggested that I take him to small claims court, which is exactly what I plan to do. I have never been treated so rudely in my life. And to think, he is supposed to be in the business of treating others to excellent service!!! read more

never use this limo service. they are the nicest people in the world; until you sign the contract. then you get treated like crap. if you dont believe me, just read heather's responses below. this company will go under in no time while under heathers management. my experience mirrors all the other comments here. broken a/c, vomit smell, broken lights, duct taped seats, poor sound from radio, late / rude driver, and nothing from management after i complained, not even an apology. i'm sure, just like every other response from wonderful heather below, all of these issues either didn't exist or were all my fault. do not waste your money with this scummy company. there are plenty other limo services in this area who actually care about hospitality. read more
