I needed quite a few changes to make it a functional bathroom--enlarge shower, eliminate three doors banging together, eliminate unusable tub, and open up toilet "cave" area. Mike listened to my suggestions and worked to resolve all my issues. The job took longer than expected but Mike is a hard worker and always kept me informed. He picked up and hauled all my larger purchases (cabinets, tile, toilet) so I didn't have to pay extra for delivery. Overall, Mike was a pleasure to work with. Very trustworthy and I got the bathroom I wanted for a reasonable price. Highly recommend.

When Mike came in I was distressed with what I'd heard and expressed this to him and he said, "I won't tell you what we can't do, I'll tell you how we CAN do what you want." That was it for me. He was always on time, he was down to earth, easy to communicate with and a real perfectionist! His price quote was great and more than competitive with the other prices I'd had. He completed on time and went above and beyond to accomplish everything I wanted and MORE. He had great ideas, things we didn't see or think of and we implemented his ideas and we could not be happier with the outcome. We have other projects and he is the FIRST and only contractor we will call. Mike will be your man if you need any household projects or renovations done. He and his company are awesome! Jill B.

In July/August, we experienced a ceiling leak that caused significant damage throughout our home, impacting two bathrooms, the playroom, entryway hallway, and laundry room. After water mitigation and demolition were completed, we were left needing extensive repairs and full remodels of the affected areas. This was our first time dealing with a major home issue, and navigating insurance, contractors, and conflicting opinions felt overwhelming and stressful. I spoke with several contractors and received multiple estimates, but Alan stood out immediately. He was the first to respond and the first to give clear, straightforward, and honest answers. Beyond that, Alan is genuinely such a fun and easygoing person to work with, which made a stressful situation feel much more manageable. He has a great eye for design and prioritizes top-notch materials while still being realistic and respectful of budget. He guided us through the design process, helped with material selection, and made thoughtful recommendations every step of the way. Marlon and Emmanuel are incredibly knowledgeable, respectful, and truly kind. They treated our home with care and always took the time to explain what they were doing, which made us feel confident and at ease throughout the process. Fast forward to today, we finally have our home back -- and we couldn't be happier with the results! Not having functional bathrooms and access to certain rooms for months took a toll on our family and our mental health. Click Construction stepped in during a very difficult time and helped restore not just our home, but our peace of mind. My only regret is not finding them sooner. I've attached before-and-after photos so you can see the incredible transformation for yourself. I highly recommend Click Construction to anyone looking for quality work, honesty, and a team that truly cares.

They beat all! 2. Organization- they took 1/2 day to just tape and protect all the non accessible elements to ensure dust or flooring is not impacted for this long term project. Workers would be here exactly 8 am and leave around 5 including Saturday. 3. Cleanliness- They would do as much cleaning as possible every evening to ensure you are not bothered every night. 4. Quality - Work as pictures show, it's beautiful. All the lines angles and perfection that would exceed your expectations. Materials used were at par with industry standards and waterproofing was also perfect. Even glass installer were surprised how precise the lines were. 5. Above and beyond - they fixed issues like water damage, vent disconnection, incorrect wall angles at very reasonable price. 6. Kudos - to Dany, Urias, Joseph, Chris, all other workers who helped throughout last 3 weeks. I would recommend this company without any doubt.

For the past few years, my husband and I had talked about updating our 30-year-old kitchen, and I…read moredreaded it. From what I'd heard and read, this costly process often turned out to be a nightmare that yielded disappointing results. Instead, working with kitchen designer Emily Dolan at KitchenWorks (who was recommended by our contractor, Steve Spratt Improvements), was fun. And the results are more beautiful and functional than I had expected. She started by visiting our house to see our kitchen, and then she listened to what we wanted and what we wanted to get rid of with the remodel. She asked us detailed questions -- Do you use your microwave to re-heat or to cook? Could you use another pantry near the refrigerator for storage, or would you rather have more counter space? Have you thought of using tray dividers in the cupboards over the refrigerator to store your trays and cookie sheets? Based on our answers, she drew up several layouts for us to review. She willingly revised elements of the plan we settled on, and once the remodel was underway, she came by a few times to see that the installation was going smoothly. I never felt the clock ticking when I met with her, or rushed into a decision, or pushed to choose the most costly materials. She was even willing to look at the flooring samples I brought by to help me envision which would look best with the cabinets and countertop we had chosen. Now, we have a kitchen where everything we use has a place that makes sense, and just catching a glimpse of it from our living-room or den makes me smile. I wholeheartedly recommend working with Emily Dolan at KitchenWorks!

Primary emphasis was a layout that could evolve over time and recapturing some floorspace. Start to finish was 3-4 weeks. This included tearing out popcorn ceiling, wiring in ~11 new recessed lights, new flooring, new kitchenette, small updates to a guest bathroom, painting all the things (including a chalkboard 1/3 wall) and a redesigned fascia for our fireplace. It also included a "secret room" for the kiddo that Quinn took on as a personal project, as we've been juggling complex medical issues for a few years. Needless to say that resulted in a lot of smiles and it has been getting a ton of use. The plywood in the secret room is 3/4" and we plan to add some rock climbing grips to it in the future. Pearl and Monica were easy to communicate with and any issues (ex: some painting needed to be revisited) were handled promptly. They were very flexible with pricing and really went out of their way to make this work for us. I'm deeply appreciative of the work they did for our child and the flexibility they demonstrated with some of my last-minute design tweaks. This is an easy recommend from me.

But once we scheduled the appointment with CKB, lots of other projects popped up with our old, new house: knocking pipes when the hot water is on, an old fireplace mantle with water damage behind it, a wall-mounted tv that the previous owners stuck right into flammable insulation. But it didn't matter! Quinn, Cherie, and Carlos completed our whole list within ONE WEEK and within our budget. The team painted everything from ceilings to baseboards and covered up the previous yellow and navy blue paint! They completely replaced the damaged drywall behind our brick fireplace and installed a new electrical outlet for the wall mounted tv, in addition to adding fireproof insulation! And they fixed our knocking pipes by cutting into our walls and spray foaming around the culprits. Totally professional and on time every day. It was great! Can't wait to have them back to renovate our old bathrooms.

I asked what cabinet distributors they used and she couldn't give me a name, she said they use many. I then asked what the difference would be between getting a particular cabinet color (not knowing what my options were or what would be in stock without a company name), and she said custom vs semi custom are just words and that it's all pretty much custom so it wouldn't make a difference. Upon asking a few more questions, she proceeded to tell me "I'm not sure if you saw, but our company has almost a 5-star review and that's almost unheard of". I didn't know what to make of it, but considering what some of their reviews mentioned, I felt as though we were going to get the same treatment. She said she'd get back to me by Friday with a quote and a visual of the kitchen updates-- it was Tuesday that day. We gave her a call that Friday afternoon to follow up and she insisted that the cabinet company was taking a while and that she'd get back to us by Monday the latest if not over the weekend. We waited and got nothing so my husband called her the following Wednesday without ever hearing from her. She continued to reassure us that she hasn't forgotten about us and that she'd get back to us by Monday for sure. It's now been 21 days and we got no updates or any communication from them. They didn't start construction until May 12, and it was difficult getting them pinned down on that date. They knew from the beginning we were wanting them to be finished before our vacation in June. They started strong with 3 workers the first day to get demo done in one day, but from that point on they never worked a full week and vary rarely worked a full day. Our project that was supposed to take 4 to 6 weeks took 3 months. Three of the most aggravating, frustrating months we have ever spent. The contractor didn't show up half of the time, and the work he did had to be redone many times. He didn't even know how to build the half wall for the shower, and we had to explain it to him. They wouldn't let us know when they weren't coming even though we asked time and time again so that we could let out our animals. They didn't obtain the County permit for construction, and that delayed everything. They always had an excuse for why they weren't working. We finally had to threaten to get a lawyer for breach of contract to get the work completed. Although the design looked good on paper, there wasn't enough detail to it to fully execute it properly. The plan for the closet was not detailed enough to show that the opening was only going to be 15" wide with the shelves as shown which would have been even narrower because the hangers extend outside of the closet. I could go on and on about the aggravation we have experienced over the last 3 months, and the extreme stress that this has put on our family. The end result is beautiful, but I hope the construction holds up.
