Every place I called was not able to accommodate me and I can't blame them as I waited until the weekend before I was leaving basically I needed my comforter cleaned same day. On a Saturday :/ finally I got ahold of the nicest lady at American dry cleaners and she let me know she wasn't sure if they could have it done that fast as they usually take about 3-4 days on household items especially king size comforters but that she would check with the staff. She came back and let me know that they would be happy to get it done for me and the icing on top for me was that they even ended up having a better price! This place has been open in Charlotte since 1921 and for good reason! Great customer service amazing work too my comforter looked brand spankin new! They have a small parking lot out front and are open all week and Saturday's closed Sunday's and they have some coupons available here on yelp! Def check them out!

When she asked about the other item, they admitted there was a problem. One of their newer employees used the "wrong chemical" and it ate holes in the sweater. If they simply admitted their mistake initially, I could forgive them. But just handing me my other items and hoping I wouldn't notice was not cool!

She left a note for the owner to call me so we can discuss the price. This man did not call me and charged me $250 + tax. I told them I wasn't paying that much for dry cleaning a dress and because he didn't call me to discuss the price before assuming I was going to pay that much for it. He offered 10% off but I refused, and he said I should give him 30 minutes to come by the store. I came back after one hour and he still didn't show up. Anyway, I had to pay $137 at the end of the day so I could pick up my dress for my photo shoot. I will never go back there as their service is terrible.

After multiple instances of my clothes being ruined, it's time to write a review. The owners are…read morekind without a doubt, however, after picking up clothes yet again and not being able to wear them again, it is frustrating, especially when you consider the cost that you paid for it. The most recent pick up, my shirt shrank considerably. I've had other instances where stains (almost bleach like) on 2 pick ups that ruined the clothes. Another instance I was charged around $60+ for a coat that had stains they said they'd removed, they were unable to remove them. Given the multiple mishaps, I will look for another place to have my clothes dry cleaned. At this point it became unacceptable.

I went back in once I realized this, the coat still having the dry cleaning tag on it with my info/order and their company hanger, and the lady said it was going to cost me money to have it repaired. She referenced company policy, so I asked where company policy was stated or displayed regarding this matter and she said "it is common sense." She then stated she "could not trust" me because I did not have history with them. Furthermore, when I first picked up this coat along with the two other sweaters, she tried to up charge me from the initially agreed upon cost to have the three items laundered. She then reverted back to the originally agreed upon price and apologized stating there was a confusion. The sweaters were returned stretched and loose fitting and the button on my coat was broken. Absolutely terrible business practice on multiple different levels. HIGHLY RECOMMEND - Saber Cleaners & Alterations. Lastly, this is the first Yelp review I have ever made so it should go to show that I took the time out of my day to hopefully WARN anyone of what to expect. Saber cleaners is my new go-to and they are fantastic, the guy has been in the business over 25 years.

She came back the next day and the women tried to charge her almost $30 instead. Said the man was incorrect telling her the price. When my mom tried to ask her why it was more she said the man was incorrect telling her and said she would charge her $22 instead... not right. The receipt / slip papers they give you should say the price when you drop an item off, so they can't change the prices. Seems like they change the price. My mom would not have went if she was told the more expensive price as it wasn't a rush
