This place deserves so much worse than just a bad review.. I was GROSSLY misled by what I thought to be a trustworthy doctor. I went in for my first visit back in June and was told by Dr Brewer and his insurance nurse that if I would allow them to do an endoscopy they could tell insurance I had a hiatal hernia. With a diagnosis of hiatal hernia, they could utilize my insurance to cover the facility fees, bringing the total for a bypass to approximately $6500 out of pocket. So I agreed to undergo the endoscopy.. After the endoscopy I was somehow told they could not provide a total cost for the surgery up front, instead I was instructed that I must fulfill all of these costly pre-requisites before I could be given a price. By the time I had completed all of the requisites (beginning of September), the originally quoted price of $6500 jumped to over $10.5k! But the worst part was, I had bills coming in worth thousands on top of that quoted price just from the prerequisite procedures! The prerequisite procedures were elaborate and VERY invasive, they cost thousands of dollars and when I reminded them that I said from the very first visit that I couldn't afford $10,000+ they said I never mentioned anything like that, even denied quoting me $6500.. unfortunately they're very cunning and kept everything "off record" so I'm left with thousands of dollars in medical bills for a procedure I cannot afford! None of this sounds "normal" to anyone I tell.. I wonder if there is any sort of recourse I could seek to cover the thousands in bills I have for no reason whatsoever?

I came to Dr. Lopez as a new patient and the first visit went fine since it was a routine physical. The staff was super friendly and I cannot fault them for the treatment I got following this visit. I unfortunately fell ill and came back to see what was wrong. Dr. Lopez asked me to take a test and told me to go ahead to take antibiotics since he was certain I was sick with what he thought I had. I started taking the antibiotics and of course, the test came back negative. I remained ill so I saw him again, he was convinced still had the same illness and that I took the swab test wrong the first time. We had to redo the test, but I was feeling uneasy and told him if we should go ahead and take another test to be sure. He didn't listen to me and told me to start the antibiotics again because he was certain I was sick with what he originally said. Again, I went through the antibiotics trusting Dr. Lopez. Results came back negative again. At this point, I have already done through two strong rounds of antibiotics that my body didn't need due to Dr. Lopez's misdiagnoses. I became severely sick following this and had to go to another doctor where they told me my body was basically negatively reacting to the antibiotics I didn't need. I had a fever, stomach problems, and then a severe skin rash for days now weeks. I have called Dr. Lopez multiple times to ask for any sort of reimbursement or acknowledgment and have received little help. As a matter of fact, I've been talking to his administration and not even him. Shows how much he cares, huh? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE seek another medical professional for serious needs. I hope no one has to go through what I went suffered.

I'm starting to really wonder how he has such high praise online, the reason for my coming to him. What Dr. Lopez seems to have going for him is only that he caters to a Spanish-speaking audience. Other than that, terrible bedside manner and absolutely awful customer service. The word I can best think to describe him is "jerk." In addition to being insensitive and hard-headed, he's also ignorant of basic medical practices. Steer clear of this place and find someone else locally instead!

I think this office has gotten so big and busy that every patient is just a number or a $ sign. It's frustrating. I know they are top in their field but, if you don't care and listen to your patients then you have less value. These surgeries have risk and I want the best -but I wish the Dr Robert's from 10 years ago was the version today. I had a complicated free revision and I'm so thankful -but this office is not one to use for any kind of follow up care.

Everything was easy to do the only thing I didn't like was no one called to confirm my appointment or when you call no one answered the phone. When I arrived it's a multiple business building and I had a hard time finding the place. The room is 270 but the name is not on the door so it made it skeptical for me but in the confirmation email it had it. When I arrived I had a short wait until the tech took me. The process is easy it's the red light therapy so you basically lay there for 30 mins with the infrared lighting it's relaxing. I also had a B12 shot because my energy level has been low. The tech was friendly and my treatment was enjoyable she measured my body before and after so you know your results. I will be back now that I know what to expect.
