But the new staff isn't very friendly or welcoming and they're extremely disorganized, which is expected, sure, but that's why the company shouldn't allow that much turnover... Especially when the prior staff were so amazing and supportive! I've since canceled my service with this company... at least I tried, but the new staff were difficult to get in touch with and didn't seem to take me seriously - I get the sense that even though I've asked twice for them to cancel my remaining appointments, there's a bill for "no shows" in my future that I'll be fighting.

My appointment was for Sat 7/3, so I obviously had to arrange during the holiday weekend to make this commitment that I so want to start. Thirty (30) mins before my appointment I get a call from this facility saying that they needed to cancel my appointment because I didn't complete the necessary online documents. I was a past patient, so I was not aware not told that I had to do any online docs. I asked her about my old medical records and she said, we have no record of you being a past patient, so we do not have your medical records. This is very concerning. I trusted this clinic with my private medical information, but now she is saying she has no idea where that information is (!) Made a second appointment and called on the day of the appointment to confirm. Was asked if I was fasting and I said no, had to cancel again. Was not told I needed to fast. Unprofessionals. They do not care about you as a patient or your time.

This place deserves so much worse than just a bad review.. I was GROSSLY misled by what I thought to be a trustworthy doctor. I went in for my first visit back in June and was told by Dr Brewer and his insurance nurse that if I would allow them to do an endoscopy they could tell insurance I had a hiatal hernia. With a diagnosis of hiatal hernia, they could utilize my insurance to cover the facility fees, bringing the total for a bypass to approximately $6500 out of pocket. So I agreed to undergo the endoscopy.. After the endoscopy I was somehow told they could not provide a total cost for the surgery up front, instead I was instructed that I must fulfill all of these costly pre-requisites before I could be given a price. By the time I had completed all of the requisites (beginning of September), the originally quoted price of $6500 jumped to over $10.5k! But the worst part was, I had bills coming in worth thousands on top of that quoted price just from the prerequisite procedures! The prerequisite procedures were elaborate and VERY invasive, they cost thousands of dollars and when I reminded them that I said from the very first visit that I couldn't afford $10,000+ they said I never mentioned anything like that, even denied quoting me $6500.. unfortunately they're very cunning and kept everything "off record" so I'm left with thousands of dollars in medical bills for a procedure I cannot afford! None of this sounds "normal" to anyone I tell.. I wonder if there is any sort of recourse I could seek to cover the thousands in bills I have for no reason whatsoever?

He listened to what has been working for me for my infusions, was knowledgeable on options, and worked with me to create a treatment plan specific to my needs. He was quick to respond to my questions I sent before my appointment. Steven and Amber staffed my first appointment, and they were both wonderful! The office is very clean and calming, and you get a private room with a reclining massage chair. I like to bring a blanket, pillow, and headphones to get more comfortable. I appreciated that they asked things like where my preference for my IV is. You're hooked up to continuous vital monitoring that can be seen at the main desk and they monitored me after the infusion until I was good to go home. Steven called me the following week to check how I was doing post infusion and to set up my next appointment. I also like the app they use that helps you track your treatment progress. It's very easy to use and takes less than a minute to fill out the surveys. I am so glad I found Avalyn Wellness! I have had a wonderful experience. At the end of our fourth session, I was told to stop "trauma dumping". Which I understand can be counterproductive to healing but in my case, if my therapist actually listened to out almost four sessions, my wounds never healed, I haven't had the best relationships with therapist due to having a narcissist mother who controlled past therapy visits, and other issues, he'd know that I have held in all of my trauma and needed to get it out. But no!!!, I needed to pay attention to the chart about feelings, actions, and such and listen to him and HIS FEELINGS, even after using said chart in three different ways to express how I felt unheard, disrespected, and hurt by his words/actions. He continued on and asked me to hear HIM out. I know what I said in response wasn't the best but here goes... in response to him asking me to hear his concerns/feelings after following his own chart three different times about expressing my feelings to others was, "Sure, I'll hear you out but first I'll need your copay" I felt rejected and unheard from a therapist I was paying to listen to me and help me grow but was told that I couldn't share anymore because I'd be "trauma dumping". It's not opening wounds for me due to them never closing and him knowing this and my timid trust in reaching out for help, which he was told multiple times by me throughout almost four sessions already. I know I have a lot to work through but it's difficult to grow and get better when the therapist you reach out to stomps on your face and feelings or tells you what you can or cannot talk about during your own therapy sessions. I'm honestly not sure if I'm going to keep seeking out help anymore.
