The owner introduced herself and the stylists, they showed us to a dedicated space for everyone to wait between services, and get dressed. Once we were settled in we moved back upstairs to the salon for hair. I was paired with the owner, Misty. I have a pixie with a shaved undercut so not too much to work with, but Misty did a great job. She gave me plenty of volume and the perfect "updo". Once my hair was gone I was shuttled downstairs for makeup. I was paired with Gabby, who did a quick consultation and jumped right in. I had full glam with lashes applied. When in doubt always go full glam. We had a great experience. The staff was professional and did a fabulous job! Everyone was happy with their hair and makeup.

I've been going to this location for several years but service has deteriorated lately. This last…read moretime was the final straw. I wanted it cut a little shorter than before, because the neckline grew out too quickly last time, and I showed her several photos on my phone To explain what I wanted. I wear a pixie cut and expected her to trim along the natural hairline as all stylists have in the past. Instead, she shaved it nearly up to the top of my ear on the left side and trimmed it longer on the right, giving me a ridiculous lopsided neckline. I thought it odd that she didn't hand me a mirror to view the back, as usually happens, but figured maybe she was just hurrying because it was a busy Saturday afternoon. When I got home and looked in the mirror, I knew why. I'm done with this place. Going to find myself a stylist who knows how to cut short hair. By the way, I'm almost 79 years old and have been wearing pixie cuts on and off for nearly 70 years, so this isn't my first rodeo.

Ugliest, Ugliest, Ugliest haircut I have ever had. I look horrible. It's impossible to make it…read morelook good. I can't even stand looking in the mirror - it has caused a few morning meltdowns. I had Angie the owner. I asked for long layer cut to land just slightly above my shoulders when dry. I brought pictures and discussed how I wanted the wavy look in the pictures. I have had this cut before with another salon (further away and way more $$) and it came out great. What I got was an uneven cut that lands 2in above the shoulder. Except for the uneven pieces that frame my face. I told her I scrunch my hair and barely use a hair drier. Angie said I should invest in a flat iron. She even put straightener in my hair. So right there I think her intent was for me to style my hair straight. NOT a good look on me. My sisters and friends that have seen it have been upfront with me. All were pretty sure I was exaggerating until they saw it. NO one likes it. My one friend couldn't stop staring and saying "WOW". But not in a good way. Some extra items to note: 1) Once she set to cutting my hair she launched into her sales pitch of services and cost. On and on and on...I could ignore it because it was kind of comical. 2) I did notice as I paid with cash, that they charge a percentage for credit card use. AND new customers are to give them a credit card to keep on file. I presume so they can charge customers their cancellation fee. No way would I leave a card on file at some little unsecure hair salon. I have wedding and graduation parties to attend. What am I suppose to do with f* up hair? Yes a bad hair cut can ruin many days/weeks/months until your hair grows out. Hope you never have to find that out for yourselves.
