I had no intentions of getting anything done today. I was actually at the shoe repair place next door and saw the sign for the special that was running for the Brazilian wax. I wanted to know more info so I went in. Joanne was very friendly and she answered every single question I asked and even offered to thread my eyebrows. I haven't had my eyes threaded in over a year so I wasn't looking forward to the pain. Joanne was very gentle and quick. I like this place. The only problem is that every time I go there, a different person is working on me who is not as good as the lady was before. For example: last time there was an Indian lady I loved her a lot, she did a very good job, I went back today because of her but she was gone... and a new lady messed up my brows. I understand that every new lady has to learn, this is a good opportunity for them to learn, but I go there because I want my eyebrows to look great. I am going there for years, but this situation keeps happening to me. I am getting tired of it. read more

I scheduled an appointment for Saturday right at 9am, but the message didn't get to her and she wasn't there yet when I came in. I found her cell on her website and called her: she was on her way, so I was still able to get my brows and upper lip done. She has only been open 2.5 weeks, so I'm sure she's just getting organized around everything. Joanne did a great job on both. She is one of the few people who truly understand what we mean when we say we like thicker eyebrows. Previous threadings and waxings have left my brows sparse, so now I am trying to grow it back in. She did a great job shaping them, without taking off too much thickness so we could allow my brows to grow back in. Once everything grows back I know they will look very nice. Also, as a bonus, she offered to give me a haircut right then while I was there. She doesn't usually do hair, but she was sympathetic to my current situation as my previous stylist moved out of state and I hadn't found a new one - it had been over 6 months since my last cut and my hair was looking shaggy. She gave me a very nice, layered cut and styled it. It was a nice surprise and very kind of her to do it last minute for me even when haircuts aren't on her service list right now. Now I have one less errand to run. :) Overall, Joanne pays great attention to detail and is very kind and helpful. She knows what she is doing and cares about the work. She is also just a very nice person to talk to. Additionally, her prices are very reasonable, even without the deals she has been doing. Joanne does a great job on my eyebrows but her assistant doesn't put the attention to detail into it like Joanne does. If you get Joanne, 5 stars! But beware when her assistant does your eyebrows no attention to detail and just trying to get people in and out. I've never had my brows done before where they didn't also tweeze. Her assistant always just threads and sends you on your way...within a week my eyebrows look like they need done again. Won't be back unless I know only Joanne will be there. read more

I got my upper lip wax done here and they did in such a stupid way which cut my skin and left scars. I would never go to this place again.
