    SHISH TAWOUK with Rice
    Allyson N.

First time in Vienna and this was the first meal I had. I loved it so much and it really set the tone for my trip. All the food I had in Vienna was amazing. I got the Shish Tawouk with rice, our server was also so kind and patient. We went around sunset for dinner and it was quite busy but we were able to be sat immediately inside.

    Falafel - so good!!!!

We dined at the place last night to celebrate a birthday. I had made the reservation in advance. And I'm glad I did because the restaurant was full with outdoor seating as the evening progressed. We ordered a bunch of stuff and everything was delicious. Here is a list of the vegetarian food we got: - Falafel: so good. It's a good size portion, and the falafels were crispy and tasty. - Hummus: good. The bread it came with was delicious. - Zaatar Bread: this is more like a pizza than Zaatar bread pieces. I love Zaatar, and this was so so good. I wish I had more space in my tummy to stuff the whole thing in. It was that good. - Patatas Bravas: these are the seasoned potatoes and were so good. The flavors and seasoning of the potatoes were amazing. We also got some pudding as dessert, which was ok. Overall, a great place to eat when in Vienna, with tons of delicious vegetarian options.

Best Lebanese food! Just go! Great ambiance, nice staff, great service, outstanding food! If you are looking for something other than schnitzel, look no further! We had the fattoush salad and it was so refreshing! The pomegranates make it! We also had the salad malwouf, it was like a coleslaw and really tasty! The salads are large, so splitting one between 2 people is recommended. We then had the beef kafta skewers and the chicken skewers, both were fabulous! They come with some yummy dipping sauce, charred veggies and the best saffron rice or the best fries, either one is a hit, can't go wrong. We finished with some delish rice pudding and the homemade mint tea, so wonderfully delicious! Highly recommend!!

Very friendly service. The food was excellent. We had different appetizers for all, hummus, labne, muhammara, baba ganoush, stuffed wine leaves, okra, and falafel and everything was plated beautifully. Additionally, we had two different potatoes and the fattoush salad. Everything was excellent, very tasty and pleasing to the eye. The ambiance was very nice too, authentic mid eastern feel. Homemade lemonades were wonderful!

Good food with quick service. The hummus was tasty, the kabob was juicy. Good menu selection too and prices are seasonable.

Neni service was accommodating, prompt and courtesy. They inform you right away it is cash only. The menu needs to be replaces. Old and tattered. The English menus are on the flip side of the page. We ordered Jerusalem plate which consisted of grilled chicken with roasted bell peppers on a bed of hummus and a pita for 19€ and both me and my partner thought is was very good . The chicken was seasoned nicely, not too salty and the hummus was consistently creamy and the pita was thick and fluffy about a 1/2" thick Not traditionally what I have had before. The hayas popcorn falafel with soya tahini which was very tasty. The sauce was an interesting combination maybe a hint of mango but not positive and a tiny bit of heat with tahini. This sauce was like a dressing that would be delicious on a salad. The falafels were not huge, smaller than a golf ball, dark on the outside and not grainy. We definitely would go back if we are in Vienna again and try their shashuka which is only served earlier in the day

We were greeted warmly at the door and asked if we had a reservation, which we did not, that did not prevent us from getting a seat in the main dining area. Service was. good if a little inattentive at times. The ambience is very elegant and the windows overlooking the street as well as the soft lighting and very soft music as to the overall ambience. I pointed to it in the dessert showcase near the front door. Elegant interior, tables spaced nicely. Near Stadtpark.

The place is situated more like a café than a cocktail bar, but it allowed the seating to be a lot more accommodating to larger groups. The only problem was temperature control, as it was incredibly warm, with no air conditioning and only a large fan at the door. The drinks were refreshing enough, but not quite enough to beat the heat. The cocktails themselves weren't terribly unique, but they did use great ingredients, and all the flavors were very well-balanced. I got my usual old-fashioned, and tried the Moscow Mule and espresso martini. I really enjoyed the old-fashioned, and the espresso martini was very tasty. The service was very attentive, and were very quick about getting us our drinks. The prices were pretty expensive for the area at about 10 Euros each, but as they were strong and well-made, it wasn't too much of a problem. Considering that many of the bars in Vienna only served things like Long Island Iced Teas and random, hackneyed mixed drinks, it was a welcome sight. Likely the best cocktail bar in the area that isn't crowded to the brim. There were plenty of other bars nearby, but none had the repertoire and laidback atmosphere. You should definitely come here if you're looking for a good, bespoke cocktail. The best is always yet to come.

We got there super early (around 9PM), and the place was empty--as one expected on a Friday evening that early. To our surprise, and to our wallet's delight, 9-10Pm was happy hour that night; cocktails were 1/2 off. We both ordered long islands; usually I can't taste the alcohol in a long island, but the bartender had fixed us up with a generous amount of alcohol. Our bartender was dressed in head to toe black, including black skinny jeans, with a mop of shaggy dark hair; he floated around the bar looking more the part of a tortured artist than a bar tender, but he did fit the grungy-in-a-hip-way atmosphere. By midnight, the place was pretty packed with people. Groups of friends sat along the walls in faded yellow movie theater seats, around the bar in the center of the bar, and stood in clumps, chatting with heads cocked sideways and a drink in hand once all the seating areas had filled up. I didn't get the sense that this is a bar that gets raucous or overly crazy; the crowd was tame even when the bar filled up--this was in stark contrast to the bars we visited in Budapest. The music was good, but nothing too special. There were a few cool trap tracks dropped; luckily no dupstep or pop. Nothing really memorable though. Donau would definitely be a place to frequent if I lived in Vienna! Definitely check it out if you're in the city.
