I used Elisa's Cleaning Services for about a couple of years until recently. Her cleaning ladies were wonderful, and worked very hard despite breaking a couple of my things twice while they were at our place. Otherwise they always did a great job and we valued their work. Elisa seemed very professional. We paid her consistently, and tipped her cleaning ladies pretty well. I even gave them gifts occasionally to show our appreciation. Sometimes I had to cancel last minute. I have chronic illness and recently had a newborn. I always communicated with Elisa nonetheless, which she seemed good about. I noticed in the last couple of months her communication was declining. I'd ask for a date; she'd respond to me a few days later, then a couple of weeks later, and fill me in when she had cancellations last minute. Last month she stopped responding to me altogether and left me hanging which was unlike her. I had a gathering the following day which my house unfortunately wasn't completely clean as I hoped, since her staff NO SHOWED on me. Tried calling her, and she just never responded. Such a disappointment. Unprofessional and shady on her part. It's a real shame we can't rely on them anymore. read more

The person never showed nor responded to my calls the day before or the day off. I frantically became searching for someone lo Kal to clean that afternoon. Elisa was extremely helpful and got 3 of her wonderful cleaners out within 2 hours. They did a great job. The house needed a good scrub especially in the kitchen and bathroom area. Disappointed with this cleaning services attitude and non-responsiveness since April. We were their customer for the past 7 + years. Every time, we were very cooperative with them whenever they wanted to come and even if they come late by 1 or 2 hours, we never used to say anything. Sometimes they even used to cancel the appointment with us in the last minute when we were prepared for cleaning and as a result we had to reschedule, but we didn't mind. When they were working in our home, we used to offer Soda or water to the cleaning ladies. We always paid them the price they asked for. We have even given gifts to the cleaning ladies for every X-mas. Inspite of all these, they stopped all of a sudden starting from March and no replies even after we sent them 3 text messages for next appointment. They should atleast have the thought of letting us know that they cant provide service to us and say goodbye. When they can do this to long term customers, one can imagine how it might be with new customers... Since the owner of this business commented and messaged (saying that the review I have posted is scam), I'm here with attaching few text messages as proof. Please note:- We were one of your long term and oldest customers (as I have mentioned 7 years), so that itself shows that every time when the ladies did the cleaning work in our home, it was good and we were satisfied with their work always. I called and spoke with the owner in detailed, explaining that I'm very ill and need deep cleaning throughout the whole entire house to keep me safe! She assured me she had a team that would be perfect for my needs. They came out today and it turned out to be wonderful! They worked so hard and tiredlessly and did things I never thought in a million years they would do. for example, they took ladders climbed up and cleaned lights and light fixtures for me in order to have a dust-free environment. This review is solely based off of customer service and not work preformed. Asked Elisa for an estimate on Yelp and had no response so I tried via phone. I received a text back with one price stating $60 per hour then the next day I got a message back on Yelp for $65 per hour. Thought it was strange that they were different prices. Then I asked for an in-home estimate so I can get an accurate price. She offered Saturday at noon and I agreed. I made sure I was at home at that time and didn't schedule anything during that time. I even tried to push back my daughter's nap so I could ensure the appointment was met. At 12:10 I had not heard from her and she had not shown up so I decided to text her and confirm she was on her way. She replied and without even an apology and said "I think it's best if we change time to evening or tomorrow. Finishing up on a house and might be 2 more hours. Unplanned". If I was a planned appointment, why is an "unplanned" appointment more important than mine? Extremely unprofessional and very rude to treat customers like that. I am not going to beg to pay someone to work. I respect your time and would request my time is respected as well. I will not be using Elisa's as that is a red flag on how the business in ran. read more

Very disappointed by the job they had done & honestly wish I could give ZERO stars. My appt was at 12:30 & the 2 ladies arrived 20 minutes late. The ladies were there for 4 hours & barely got anything done. The bathrooms (3) were cleaned nicely, although that was the ONLY decent thing they had done. They barely vacuumed the floors & mopped correctly. They did not wipe down ANY of the tables & did not vacuum or mop the stairs. On top of that they only changed 2 of the sheets of the 4 bedrooms.. did not vacuum, wipe down or clean ANY of the mirrors. (Why change the sheets if your not going to clean the entire room?!) WORST cleaning service I have ever gotten. $240 for literally nothing. 4 hours to decently clean the bathrooms ? Btw the bathrooms are cleaned regularly. I can keep going on but I honestly feel like this is enough to say. Very disappointed & will NEVER recommend these people to anyone. Very unprofessional job. read more

Very Disappointed! Never received the services. This morning I spoke to Elisa who gave me a temporary quote on the telephone and a price, she then told me to text her the details and she will write up the professional quote as soon as she is available in about one hour. Whew, stress relieved, I secured the cleaners to perform a move out service of this rental. I provided the detailed text but didn't hear back. I texted a few hours later to ask if she had the final quote ready and again, no answer. I knew she was out working so I waited until after 6pm to telephone her to pick up where we left off. To make a long story short I telephone her 2 more times again with no responses, no return phone calls, no return texts, no I am sorry I made a mistake and I cannot clean your house, nothing, so I had to make the decision to find another company which thankfully I did. Elisa and her employees are excellent. We have used her services each and every week for a long time, and we have always been happy to come home to a well cleaned house. We trust them to clean the house when we are not home too, and so it is a really easy service for us. Elisa communicates very well with us and is responsive to any texts, so it is easy to schedule. Elisa is amazing! I hired her over the phone to clean my sister's house who is recovering from her 3rd cancer surgery in a couple of months. She assured me she would do the job herself rather than sending staff, to make sure all her needs were met and that it was done in a peaceful, caring manner so as not to disturb her rest. She did an amazing job! My sister called me in tears and said she made her feel like "queen for a day" she was thorough and considerate of her needs and very reasonably priced. I was in need of a house cleaning for my rental property. The person who was going to do it got sick and I had people about to come and see the house. Elisa took my call and arranged for two people to go to the house, let themselves in and do the work that needed to be done. I went to the house today and they did everything I had asked and they did it well. It was funny because Elisa was worried that the windows were going to be not perfect because the work was done on Wednesday and I could not go out to the house until Friday and she was concerned that the windows may have gotten dirty IN 2 DAYS??? They were fine, they cleaned the inside and outside of all windows, cleaned the tracks and dusted all of the mini-blinds. Cleaned all of the drawers in the kitchen and both bathrooms, mopped the floors and everything was just right. All in all, she was very nice to work with over the phone, she organized an emergency crew within hours of my call, got the job done and done well, on budget and on time. SAVE YOUR MONEY. I hired and scheduled to have Elisa's clean my house more than one month before the date I wanted my house cleaned. At 8pm the night before my scheduled 9am cleaning, she called to tell me she wouldn't be able to come until 11am and that she would send 3 people for 3 hours, instead of 2 people for 4 hours. At 11:15 the next morning she hadn't arrived and hadn't called. When I called her to inquire she said they wouldn't be here until noon. She arrived at noon by herself. When I got home from work at 3pm, there were 2 people at my home cleaning and they had not even started on the downstairs. They finally went downstairs to clean around 3:30pm. At 5:15 pm I had to leave and they STILL weren't done. Said they were just finishing up. (My home is average size.) I had to leave so I agreed to pay her since she would be done by the time I returned When I returned I found that they had not mopped my floors and several pieces of furniture were not dusted. I called the next morning at which point she started screaming at me that "she did her best" and "it's not her fault if someone calls in sick". Finally when I got her to calm down (yes, I had to calm her down and yes, I'm the CUSTOMER.) She offered to refund my money. I told her a partial refund would be sufficient because some stuff was done. She agreed to reimburse me by the end of the week. That was October 22, 2016. I didn't hear back from her. I called her the following week to follow up and she said she would get back to me the next day. I still have not heard from her. It is now November 17. She kept all $275 knowing that she did an inadequate job. I also found out after I had guests over that she left a bag of garbage in front of my house. Since then, I have found that 2 sets of my mini blinds are broken that weren't broken before she came and "cleaned". I do not recommend this cleaning service. There are too many options for other services to risk getting the same treatment that I did. So disappointing. read more

Elisa is AWESOME!! I messaged her on Sunday requesting house cleaning for Monday and she was able to get me in- She responded almost immediately! (We used them to clean our place we're moving out of. It looks brand new again)! The two gals who came to clean our place were fantastic- Joann and Rachel. They were able to get the black mold out of our caulking in the shower and the whole place was sparkling clean. They were worth every penny. We plan to hire them again. What a bad experience! I called Elisa and had booked appointment for initial cleaning for 5 hours @80$/hr rate. She mentioned after this first cleaning I can have a regular service every two weeks for a flat rate. Two women came two hours late for the first appointment and did the bathrooms, kitchen and downstair hardwood floor cleaning in 3 hours. I called after two weeks thinking it is regular cleaning as initial cleaning was done. Elisa sent the same two women and she did not say anything about what kind of cleaning it was. So I assumed it was regular cleaning as I had earlier discussion. The women said it was hourly charge. I told them it is regular cleaning and not like last time and that is as per my discussion with Elisa. They said they need to talk to Elisa and they called her and spoke among themselves in their language on the phone and told me she is okay with that(I did not know what they discussed). So I said okay to start the work. They finished the work and charged me @ 55$/hour basis. I said it is regular cleaning and not charged hourly basis and asked them to call Elisa for clarification. She was being extremely rude, yelling on the phone and said it was because I changed the initial cleaning schedule it was not complete and this was also initial cleaning and she was giving me a discount charging only $55. But if it was initial cleaning why did they redo kitchen, bathrooms, flooring? Moreover she did not communicate that to me. No one told me about $55/hour rate. It could be that the women did not understand the language and there could have been miscommunication due to language problems. But Elisa's behavior was not acceptable and I would never work with this cleaning service again. read more
