But I'm so lucky to have found Iris. They always have a back up team for situations like me with last minute necessities. The owner Diana was so prompt, courteous and professional. I really wanted to love this company based on their 5-star reviews, and we had high hopes since we…read morehired them for some extra help postpartum with a newborn at home. They were able to get us scheduled quickly and came the very next day, which I appreciated. The arrival window was 12-1pm, but they showed up closer to 1:45. I told the three ladies everything we wanted done: floors, kitchen, bathroom, baseboards, furniture, windows, etc. They got straight to work and were very efficient. I also specifically asked that they use only our cleaning products due to having a newborn and personal allergies. At one point, my husband noticed they were using their own product and had to remind them to switch back to ours. This frustrated me quite a bit, especially since I had mentioned this to the office as well the day before. We had booked 3 hours, but they finished in about 2 hours and seemed rushed overall. A few areas were missed, including under some appliances, parts of the baseboards, the windows, and dusting our console table and dining room table. When my husband reminded them about the windows before they left, it was wiped quickly with a cloth rather than properly cleaned, which felt a bit rushed. I had mentioned the windows specifically when they first arrived, so it was frustrating that they missed it and when reminded, they wiped it down very quickly. Communication was a little awkward. If they had a question, they would call their office, and then the office would call us. I completely understand there may be a language barrier, but it did make the process feel less smooth and made us feel as though we couldn't specify our wants directly. We did ask for a small discount due to the late arrival. They were hesitant, but ultimately took $20 off. Overall, the areas they did clean were done pretty well, and I appreciated that they wore shoe coverings in our home. I just wish the experience had felt a bit more thorough and aligned with the 5-star expectations.

I wish I had read more of the bad reviews as my experience was the same. When a company is not…read moreorganized it's a pet peeve of mine. I was told 8am arrival, got a confirmation text at 9:30pm the night before. When I called to let them know that someone has not arrived yet and it was already 830am, I was told there was confusion, then 1 person shows up. I have a large home, at least 2 are needed. I, then get told, the other will arrive at 10 "we stagger them" yah, right They don't show up till 11:45, then a third person arrived after 2pm. None spoke English, which is fine but they need to be able to at least communicate with me in basic things. I couldn't even tell her specifics without Google Translate. I was already frustrated with the whole situation. The ladies did their thing but it definitely was not worth the $420 price tag. I'm still picking things off the floor, there was a dirt mark left on my brand new painted walls and just saw a scratch and my brand new painted floor boards. Then I was asked for payment and the lady stood on top of me till it was made. Definitely would recommend them to get things more organized and would not hire again unfortunately. UPDATE - the house is large if you don't think 2,200 sq ft is large, then I'm not sure what you would considered a large home. I also said once as you claim I repeat. I have 5 bedrooms., 3 full bathrooms. I didn't realize I had to request English speaking, shouldn't you ask if that's something I need? Your cleaners were late and your stagger excuse I believe is the cover that. None of that was explained to me prior to the job. I was only asked to look at things at the end when they had already cleaned up their items, the floor is something I'm still picking things up from. They even redid one side and still not fully clean. Instead of apologizing for my experience, you are making it my fault. I think you guys need some work on customer service. Once again, would not book again. My backsplash still had stains I just cleaned, I swept after them, they threw trash in the green bin and without paying attention, threw away my grocery bags and items

I booked a detailed cleaning expecting the services listed on the company's checklist to actually…read morebe completed. I was initially being charged $290, which is a significant amount of money for the scope of the cleaning I requested. Unfortunately, the cleaning was extremely underwhelming. The company sent me a detailed checklist outlining what would be included, but many of those items were not completed. Even the trash was not taken out, despite trash removal being listed as part of the service. There was still trash left in the trash cans and underneath the couch. I also found dirt and debris underneath the couch that clearly had not been cleaned. The inside of the refrigerator and the cabinets were also not cleaned, even though I understood those areas to be included in the detailed cleaning I purchased. The bathroom was one of the main areas I specifically asked to be detailed, and even that was not completed to the standard I expected. There were still areas with visible dirt and buildup. The bedroom also required very little cleaning, yet it did not appear that the detailed services were actually performed there either. I was home during the cleaning, so I personally observed that some of these areas were not being addressed. That is particularly frustrating because the service was marketed as a detailed cleaning, not simply a quick surface-level cleaning. If you are going to charge nearly $300 to clean a kitchen, living room, bathroom, and bedroom, the services advertised should actually be completed accordingly. When I contacted them about the issues, I was offered the option of having someone come back and redo the cleaning. I declined because I am not comfortable having someone else return, and I cannot afford to take another afternoon off to accommodate another cleaning appointment. I requested a partial refund instead because I paid for services that were not fully provided. I would strongly recommend carefully reviewing exactly what is included in the service before booking and making sure you document the condition of your home afterward. Based on my experience, the quality of the cleaning did not justify the nearly $300 price.
