Frankly,…read moreit was another Yelp review that pointed me her way and I am happy to report that it's all true! When shopping for cars of this caliber, you expect to be treated professionally without the sales pitch and nonsense we've all experienced in car-buying. Buying a 6 digit car out of State can be daunting as there's many unknowns but Jamie immediately made it apparent that I was dealing with the right person. I knew after my initial call with her that I'd be buying a car from her. Jamie was responsive, patient and more importantly willing to be attentive to my needs. She provided me with everything from high resolution pictures to the specs on the brake pads. Jamie was open and up front; the exact opposite of what car sales has evolved into. I can't tell you how many dealers in the Washington DC area I've been to where you get sized up by a sales person who won't shut up. Jamie understands this market and the buyers in this segment. She never pestered me or tried to double down after our initial call but always made herself available to me because she genuinely wanted to see me IN my dream car (not just SELL me my dream car). The professionalism that Jamie and McLaren Boston provided is one that reflects an organization that isn't too proud to make it about you. Jamie and the team at McLaren Boston has earned her customer for life and should I continue to be blessed enough to drive cars they sell, I will look no further than McLaren of Boston (specifically Jamie) for all my future exotic/super car purchases. Period.

Buying a truck was something I had been saving and striving toward for some time. I took the truck on a test drive and it had issues with stalling out and sputtering. I went to leave, but Leavitt repeatedly ask that I go "waste some time" in the area while they looked over the truck. A few hours later I was able to complete a brief but uneventful test drive. An agreement was reached that Leavitt would find the root cause of the issues and make repairs that would permanently resolve them as a condition of purchase. I agreed to trade in my faithful and fully operational FJ cruiser as part of the deal. I took delivery of the truck two weeks later, Leavitt stated they replaced the VCT solenoids that were the cause of the issues on the test drive. Within a few days, on my second or third drive in the truck, it was throwing misfire codes on two cylinders and running rough with the check engine light illuminated. I completed an entire tune up on the truck on my own dime. Leavitt states that their vehicles come fully serviced, but considering I was pulling factory spark plugs out of the motor and the air filter was a disaster, it was clear this wasn't the case. The tune up did not resolve the issues and the truck would not pass inspection with the check engine light on. When I initially brought this to Leavitt's attention, Bob told me to go "wiggle some wires." I called Leavitt again and they agreed to bring the truck back for review. They refused to tow it up so I had to drive it while it was misfiring. I suspected that the direct injectors were leaking, causing the misfire, and Leavitt confirmed this. They stated they would only replace the two that were on the cylinders throwing codes, so I spent $900 on parts for them to replace the other 6 as well. They had the truck for two weeks, put 300 miles on it, and returned it to me telling me it was all set. During this time they put me in a barely holding together, saturated with cigarette smoke loaner car that didn't even have fabric on the seats. It was disgusting. Within a few days the truck again was throwing sporadic check engine lights and codes for knock sensors, low voltage, and other issues. I brought this to Leavitt's attention and they were dismissive. A few days later, at the beginning of March, I went to start the truck and something failed catastrophically. I heard something metal break in the motor. The engine would barely run, it threw codes for almost every cylinder on the driver's side, and it was inoperable. I called Leavitt and told them what was going on, and what I got from Mike was a combination of "we can't stand by the vehicle after this long" and "one of my mechanics walked off the job, and we have a backlog of work, so we wouldn't be able to help you anyway." I explained to Mike that it had barely been 9 weeks since I signed papers, the truck had barely accrued 900 miles since I signed, and 3 of those weeks and 300 of those miles the truck was with them. He again told me he "couldn't stand by the truck after this long" and to "use the warranty we sold you" and hung up on me. I had the truck towed to Tasca Ford in RI. They tore into the motor and found that the timing components had failed, leading to a timing chain breakage which resulted in a valve hitting a piston and bending along with metal in the bottom end of the motor and oil pan. The bottom line is the truck needs an entire new motor. I am now stuck hoping the shady warranty that Leavitt sold me will honor the Liberty Shield bumper to bumper coverage and get me a new motor, and they're already making it difficult for Tasca. Leavitt does not care about you once they have your money. Their vehicles do NOT come fully serviced, and it is obvious they're just flipping garbage they pick up at auctions or in trade. They do not stand by their vehicles and should not be trusted. I wouldn't buy Girl Scout Cookies from them at this point. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!

Both of my back blinkers were out, and I was immediately quoted with a price which I thought was bizarre because they didn't even know what the issue was. I told them the blinker issue was more than just simply adjusting the wiring, as other car mechanics had tried to fix them by maneuvering the wiring. They had my car for an entire day just to have me pick it up and not only did they not fix one blinker, when I informed them that they did not fix the blinker, they told me that it would only take five minutes to fix it. Hence, they did exactly what I told them not to do. They had my car an entire day and charged me $189 to do what other car mechanics were doing for free. They then told me the entire car would have to be rewired for $2000, when I bought the car for $5000. I would never go back to this Nissan

Bottom line is if you have an older car definitely do not bring it here for repairs. For details read on- Brought a 2001 in with a long list of Minor repairs. The intake went smoothly and friendly. Received a report on the repairs via text which was quite detailed. Got to follow up call from one of the service managers. It was pretty clear to me he hadn't familiarized himself with either the report or the details of what was broken on my car. Also just a personal pet peeve, people who give you general information when you ask them specific questions and give you answers to questions that you haven't yet asked. I got the distinct impression that the gentleman who was helping me was either new or didn't really know what was going on. Decided on one repair due to the fact getting parts would be difficult. Waited two days for the part it did not fix the problem. Was charged $300 and told that they'd given me a break on the hours since it took longer than expected. Was told the dashboard needed to come out for further troubleshooting but they didn't want to do it because the car was old. Picked up the car and it was obvious to me it was done in a hasty manner to "get it out of the shop". Simple thing like daylight running light was burnt out and not repaired even though we discussed that. The manager asked if I'd like them to "throw one in" on my way out the door, but at that point I had had it. After leaving I discovered the radio had not been reinstalled properly so only works intermittently now. Parts removed from trunk for troubleshooting were not replaced in their original location. Called the general manager Boulos and quite frankly my assessment is he was more interested in interjecting and defending what they did then actually either listening to or arriving at some kind of an agreement. Got a lot of condescending platitudes and "We'll take that under advisements", "We appreciate your business", versus what I believe was the realistic conclusion of; we don't care about your old car, you didn't spend enough money here for us to worry about this, pay your $300 and go away, i.e the fast talking salesman routine. Super annoying. I'm sure they don't care, but I won't be back.

After purchase, drove home on the highway and noticed right away a vibration with the tires. I went back right away and they told me that there might be a flat spot on one of the tires. They told me to drive 50 straight miles to see if this would make it go away, plus they said Ford motor company doesn't like them to fix anything until 3 months of ownership. This is a lie. Went back a second time after driving the 50 straight miles. The mechanic and I road on the highway together and he admitted there was a problem and this was after he said he balanced two tires. Well after returning, the service dept. called me over and admitted there was a problem, but again told me Ford doesn't like them to fix anything until 3 months. He then said the mechanic told him my truck stops vibrating at 70mph. I told him that wasn't the case and demanded that they fix the problem. The service guy then hands me my keys to leave. Since this has happened, I don't believe the dealerships reviews are true. I since have had a tire service company find the problem and I have damaged rims and tires. So now I have to find an honest dealership somewhere who will honor Ford's warranty on

Reading some of the older reviews about service, I question what universe they were in? I know…read moresometimes competitors have their employees write bad reviews, so that may be as well. Last week (May 2026) I had the complete opposite service experience ...and get this ! I did not even buy my 2022 Audi Q3 from THEM! (I bought it from a used car dealership = Bourne Auto). I had warranty (recall) work that only a dealer could perform and also had to get the "key owner" setting switched from the prior owner so I could access Audi's MMI system (Something Bourne Auto forgot to do!). 1) Eric (Norwell service team) got me a next day appointment, offered a loaner car, sent the estimate by email and text and completed the work the next day - plus a free car wash! The day after i got the car back , I received both a text and an email from Eric asking if everything was to my satisfaction (what other dealer does that?) 2) Kyle White (Audi Brand Specialist) must have "drawn the short straw" to help me with my "Key Owner" conversation because it was not easy! Bourne failed to clear the prior owners info from the database, but Kyle was undeterred . After converting my Key Owner status and deleting all evidence of the prior owner, (which took partnering with his technician counterpart) Kyle spent another 30 minutes of his own time showing me all the car options / functions (something Bourne never provided! ) DId I mentioned that I did not buy my Audi from them? No surprise really - Kyle's business card indicated he has achieved "Audi Magna Society" level status (something he never once mentioned !) which (in researching ) is only awarded to top performers in customer satisfaction and representation of the Audi brand. In sum, I am happy to report I received the "BEST of the Best" in service from Audi Norwell! I have zero motivation to pitch for this dealer either. They earned my loyalty ..without asking for anything in return . For that reason, I will certainly buy my next car from Audi Norwell without hesitation! If you are looking right now for an Audi , I highly recommend you start with Kyle White at Audi Norwell before any other dealer. Complete no brainer!
