Harry's is an excellent little restaurant that serves up charbroiled burgers, dogs and fries…read more I wandered in because it reminded me of the old burger joints I used to visit as a teenager. I ordered a cheeseburger combo (comes with fries and a drink). The burger was exactly what it needs to be: The burger patty was made fresh (not frozen) and had that sweet, smoky hint of charcoal. The bun was soft and absorbed the flavor of the burger masterfully. The toppings were fresh, if not fancy. Covid-wise, I felt comfortable eating here. They take all the proper precautions, maintain social distancing and clean the place (what seems to be) every few minutes. An added bonus was the price. Don't know too many spots where you can enjoy a delicious charbroiled burger for under ten bucks!

For a smaller place with fresh cooked while you wait, the service speed is exc optional. I have had to wait far longer at franchise joints in town, and for much lower quality food. I mostly have only tried the burgers, fish and chicken fingers, so can't rate much else but all three of those are among my favourites in town.

Our waitress was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. She was the only part of the experience that…read morewas positive as far as I'm concerned. The restaurant advertises "half price appetizers after 8 pm." Usually I expect SOME exceptions, but when we asked, we were told that only about a third of the appetizers were half price. Big disappointment. I had the fish and chips. In my opinion, the fish was some of the worst I had ever had. My wife tried it though and didn't mind it, so I can write that up as a matter of preference. The chips, however, were like warm and tough. They had clearly been prepared earlier in the day and then reheated. Ambiance was alright for a slow night. A couple of tv's showing online bar trivia and the rest showing sports. Some of the televisions were old and colours were off, but no big deal. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it to a friend. There are other similar restaurants close by with comparable menus and better food.

Burger of choice was any of their signature burgers, I chose the mushroom burger with fries and for the beer, they has alot of popular brands on tap. I chose Coors light. The atmosphere is quite nice, no TVs but then again it is not a sports bar. The had the 70's music playing in the background which was fine. The waiter was friendly and service was great. The food came and my gosh did it look good. The first bite of the burger was fantastic. It was moist and tasty and fresh off the grill. The sauce, the mushrooms, tasted amazing and blended with the burger very nicely. Probably one of the best burgers I have had in quite a while. Be warned that eating the burger will be messy, at least it was for me but oh so good. Fries were fresh and hot and great in it's on or with ketchup, however, I would highly recommend a side of gravy. It tastes like it was homemade and great with the fries. I also dipped my burger into it for all its fat goodness. Great place and if I ever head over to London Ontario again, I will definitely come back.

My personal choice was the basic burger plus bacon, barbecue sauce, mayo, lettuce, tomato, onion and a dash of black pepper, if you want to try to duplicate my bliss. They also have great shakes and cones made from Shaw's Ice Cream. Though I haven't tried much else, the menu does have a lot of variety for an outdoor food service centre, including, if I remember correctly: wraps, quesadillas, chicken sandwiches, jalapeño poppers, chicken fingers, and all the usual fare as well. The new covered patio is very nice touch as well to have some shade and protection but still be outdoors. Do please note they are not open on Sundays, so plan around that. I also am assuming they are open seasonally but am not sure what times of year they start and end the season.
