The selection is pretty much Bud, Michelob Ultra, Busch, White Claw, Corona, etc. But all of that is ok. It's still a cool neighborhood bar in a strip center, and it's a fun place to kill some time. They haven't quite achieved dive bar status, but with a little time and a lot more energy, they might get there. They get four stars from me. I walked into this town a stranger, but left knowing a fair cross-section of its dynamics and characters, simply by spending an hour sitting at this bar. I'm totally serious - I got several perspectives from several interesting characters. I love that you never know exactly what you will get in this bar, but you can expect various discussions about politics, weather, sports, and more. All they need to move it up to official dive bar status is water dripping from the ceiling for no explicable reason, and maybe a cat fight or two. P.S. - they have plenty of TVs for the game. They carry a lot of good beers including Lagunitas, Dragon's Milk, Two Brothers, etc. plus all the watery swill you could want. I don't know much about hard liquors but they seemed to have a good selection of both that and wines. Mix & Match 6 packs for $10.99 and I put a couple of Lagunitas Sucks in my sixer. Seeing as they just opened, they are taking recommendations for things they should order. I asked them to get some 5 Rabbit in! So hopefully they will. This one didn't have much in the way of that, so not really much for me. But did have many other things. They have a lot of religious stuff for pagan followers and folks interested in metaphysical or occult practices. You'll find lots of herbs, athames, gemstones, books, tarot cards, pendulums, and so on. It's quite a large shop, too; two rooms and lots of space. They do tarot readings here as well. When I came here during the weekend, they were offering various services like tarot, and I think palmistry and astrological readings. I did take a look at their tarot decks because I like ones with interesting art and collect several, but they had mostly standard decks you'll find at similar shops; nothing really new or interesting for me. If you're not familiar with Elgin, you'll need to rely on GPS; this shop is on a frontage road near Judson and in an you have to get to it in a somewhat odd way, so using a digital map will probably be your best bet. Obviously I do not know the owner(s) background... so I'm reserving judgment on the use of the exonym for Romani people in the name of the shop.

The lounge is decent sized; there's lots of chairs and several TVs. The star here is the humidor: I don't think there's a cigar line they don't carry.
