The interpretive center is at the top of the gondola ride and connected to the Eleven53 Cafe. A gondola ride will cost around $24-60 ish depending on your age, what day you go (weekends are more expensive), and if you get the ride and meal combo. We got the ride and meal combo for $38 (per person) on a Tuesday for youth.
The center itself is pretty small but everything there is interactive. There are rocks that you can touch and put in water to see which one floats, there are telescopes that point out some of the park's features, televisions playing documentaries on the nature in the area, and skins of a black bear, beaver, fox, bobcat, coyote, and mountain lion (the most interesting part, in my opinion). You can touch everything there and there is a super friendly attendant that will explain what everything means to you and answer all your questions!
Overall, I give it 4 stars - it was a great little interactive display but I wish it was bigger and the displays were more informative. read more
