Elevation 486 is gorgeous and situated overlooking Canyon Springs Golf Course and the Snake River. We didn't have a reservation but were fortunate to be seated immediately at a back patio table. The service was great. Our waitress was attentive and made sure our dining experience went smoothly. Our dinner started with a basket of warm, soft bread rolls and their delicious huckleberry butter. My Catch 22 cocktail was amazing - Woodford Reserve Bourbon, honey, muddled ginger, served on the rocks with a lemon twist. Everything we tried was wonderful and prepared to perfection: Seared Ahi appetizer with ginger-soy-sesame sauce; Tomato Bisque; Caesar salad with anchovies; Kobe Beef Meatloaf with mushroom sauce; Aged Prime Rib; Pan-broiled Idaho Ruby Red Trout. What a treat! We had a wonderfully delightful waitress. We enjoyed a Thai salad with shrimp in place for the beef ( they were more than welcome with my ask), and delicious Philly cheesesteak sandwich with salad and a burger. We had reservations for 5 but arrived around 4 so we sat at the bar for drinks and an appetizer first. The bartender was very off putting as she immediately ID'd me and my significant other before we could even sit down. As I was browsing the wine list, she gave me the "cocktail list because it has sweeter options" and then asked me if I had "figured it out" before taking my order. Just gave us an awful feeling as she was very rude, even though we are younger, we've never had bar service like that. Dinner was pretty good, our waitress was very friendly and attentive. We chose this place for my husbands 60th birthday. We made a lunch reservation and when we showed up we were seated but a bit disappointed because we did not have a great view. Yes, we could see the canyon through other peoples heads, but we just wanted a bit more. Our waiter Lupe was pleasant and attentive. The food was good and the restaurant was clean and pleasant. We would recommend everything we ate but the fried green beans were a stand out. It was a birthday celebration and it was noted in our reservation but no one said anything about it which we found strange. The food here is still good. I am updating this with a knock on price. Look, I get we have suffered the inflationary past two years but charging 42 bucks for a steak and then dinging customers an additional 3 bucks for a dinner salad seems ridiculous. Your profit margins can't be that thin on a 42 dollar steak. I hate the thought of "chain" anything restaurants but I find myself going back to Texas Roadhouse where the ribeye is just as good, it is cheaper, and they still include a salad. read more

The people at this restaurant are super friendly and did a really great job taking care of us. The views are phenomenal and really make this restaurant special. There were four of us eating last night and only one really enjoyed the food. I got the prime rib, my friend got the ribeye, and his wife got the salmon. None of them were great, and the salmon was actually very dry. My wife got a flat steak and loved it with five enthusiastic stars. This restaurant serves excellent food, friendly and professional service, and has an excellent view of the snake river and Perrine bridge if you sit at the outside tables! We came here at the end of a long day or traveling and sightseeing, and this meal was just the relaxing and satisfying experience we needed! The entrance is a bit hard to find: it's behind a glass door in the middle of an office park. Hopefully they'll put a sign up to help people find the entrance more easily, but no big deal, we found it! The service was prompt but not over the top. Vine ripened tomato and burrata- very tender burrata over tomatoes and mixed greens with olive oil and a balsamic reduction. Very refreshing and light! Dungeness crab, spinach, and artichoke dip- freaking amazing! Made with real crab meat. You've probably tried this at other places, and trust me, this one is way better! Smoked Idaho trout- very tasty, fresh, and not over cooked at all. Melt in your mouth yummy and perfectly seasoned! King salmon- another winner. Perfectly cooked again and very fresh! Our favorite unplanned discovery here was, believe it or not, the BUTTER! They serve freshly baked dinner rolls with an amazing butter mixture of butter, huckleberry, honey, and cinnamon. It's so good you'll want to eat it even without the rolls! We had to have more, and the restaurant actually sells it by the pint or half pint, so we took some home! Check this place out! I was excited, bit they seared us in a tiny 2 seater by the window that really didn't belong there it was super cramped and we could barely fit our plates I had to scoot the table over just to not hit the people behind me. Food was good. Ambiance not so good, due to over crowding, it was super noisy. I had a drink and it tasted like no alcohol was in it I asked for them to fix it and she brought me a shot to add to it, and charged me. My drink ended up being twice as much as my husband's deluxe Bloody Mary. They did bring me a free dessert for my birthday which was really nice. The waitress was nice. Everybody was nice but I just feel like it was overrated with all the hype that I've heard about it. My experience wasn't very good. read more

Hit up Elevation 486 on our way to Montana, twice (hit coming back home too)! This is a great spot to enjoy lunch or dinner, just make sure you sit on the patio. On my first stop I had the Fried Green Bean (so good), Heritage Pork Chop w/Garlic Mash and a few IPA's. On the way home had the Rib-eye and many more local IPA's! The food here is really good and the service was also stellar, as the staff is very attentive. Had to send the steak back to cook a little longer to get to my med-rare/medium temperature though. You can beat the views from the patio enjoying a sunset and putting back some delicious local beers. Next time I pass through Twin Falls, I will be stopping at Elevation 486. read more
