We recently purchased a home for our daughter, and a previous roof repair, completed less than a year ago, was disclosed as being under warranty. And here's what makes this even more frustrating: **We're talking about a leak around ONE SINGLE ROOF VENT.** Not a major roofing project. Not an entire roof replacement. One isolated leak that should be relatively straightforward for a professional roofing company to evaluate and repair. I called hoping to discuss getting this resolved. Within 15 seconds of explaining the situation, the woman who answered interrupted me and wouldn't let me finish speaking. Instead of listening or offering any assistance, she launched into a rant about how frustrating it is when people call requesting warranty work without having formally transferred the warranty. Apparently, transferring the warranty costs $500, and that seemed to be her primary concern. Not the fact that their previous repair had apparently failed. Not the water leaking into someone's home. Just how frustrating these calls are for HER. I tried explaining that my daughter is 10 months pregnant and has water coming into her kitchen every time it rains. Rather than showing even the slightest empathy or professionalism, she continued to lecture and berate me about warranty transfers. Let me be clear: **I understand companies have warranty policies and transfer requirements. I recently contacted All Pro Sanitize for a condo that was previously owned by a smoker. The condo…read moreis 40 years old and had the odor of cigarette smoke mixed with a faint musty smell in the duct work. I tested for mold in the ventilation ducts and it was negative. The condo was recently remodeled with new cabinets throughout and I did not see any mold activity under any of the sinks or at water sources. I did my best to get rid of the odor from everything to washing the walls, ceiling, cabinets, light fixtures and having the tile and furniture cleaned. I even had the unit repainted. The odor was faint, but it was still there. I contacted Andy to set up a Chlorine Dioxide Shock Treatment. I did learn that I probably should have had the condo treated before having it painted, but I didn't realize I was going to need this service until AFTER I did everything and couldn't get rid of the odor. Within a couple days, Jarod arrived to treat the condo. Within 24 hours the condo was sterilized and smelled fresh, so fresh that I was able to smell it outside of the front door to the unit. I even ran the HVAC fan for a while and couldn't smell the lingering musty odor or cigarette smoke. Job very well done. I will be sure to update this review at the 30,60 and 90 day mark but I can already smell the difference in the air inside the condo itself. Both Andy and Jarod were very good to deal with. Scheduling was not a problem and Jarod was very informative when he arrived to treat the condo. I highly recommend this service for those stubborn odors that won't go away or if you know you are about to tackle something that is going to be challenging.
