Dr. Alicia is thorough with her adjustments and soft tissue work, and you can tell she really cares about her patients. Oh my! When I made my first visit here (I'm on #4) I could barely walk. I've been seeing Megan Peterson who does amazing word and is so patient and kind. My intake took about an hour and was very thorough, asking lots of questions while checking movements, gait, flexibility, etc. When I visit she does a variety of helpful manipulations that are helping me so much. I've been going to Elevated Chiropractic for over 10 years and have had nothing but amazing experiences. The doctors are outstanding -- knowledgeable, compassionate, and always going above and beyond for their patients. This office is the real deal, and I couldn't imagine trusting my care anywhere else. As for "Shelley's" review... give me a break. It's obvious she doesn't know the first thing about how insurance works. Her comments are pathetic and uneducated at best, and they don't reflect the incredible work this office does day in and day out. Every session is tailored to what I need--massage, cupping, Graston, or an adjustment--and I always leave feeling so much better. Fantastic care! I've visited two of the chiropractors there, Drs Oswald and Peterson, and both have been absolutely wonderful. They really listen and take their time determining treatment- and also use a variety of treatments. And as a bonus they are both just lovely people and nice to talk to. I've been seeing Alicia for years now, since my first back spasm. I'm not generally a big fan of chiropractors, given the bad rap some of them give themselves, but Alicia and Elevated Chiropractic rise above the rest (get it?!). Every time I see her, she does both soft-tissue (including cupping and more) and chiropractic manipulation work. And she doesn't insist I keep coming back to get more treatments, instead she gives me amazing stretch routines (that I'd love to do if I had one hour to stretch everyday!) that I pick and choose from. Her routines have helped me maintain a healthy back with very few spasms over the last ten years. I was a little hesitant to go in recently while she was on maternity leave. I mean Alicia has a magic touch and I wasn't sure if Dr. Orth was going to be worth the time. I am so happy I went in! Mallory (Dr. Orth) is amazing! Hard to imagine someone with hands as strong as Alicia's but Mallory's a force! She spoke with me about the treatments she wanted todo, offering me the chance to say no to whatever I didn't like. Then while she was working on me, she constantly checked in on my comfort level. She also did something I've never had before, sliding cupping (?). I fractured or at least bruised a rib, and after I left, I had no pain. Going in that day, I was babying my rib when I did anything. Two days later, during a three-hour surf session without any pain, I forgot that I had a bruised rib and then remembered the work Mallory did on me. WOW! What was going to be a super painful surf trip ended up being nearly pain free. These two doctors are awesome. Thanks for keeping me healthy and enjoying my life to the fullest! read more

I have been a patient of Dr Megan and cannot say enough good things about her. The first visit was an hour long! Never had such a thorough assessment by a chiropractor. The subsequent visits weee about a 2/2 hour and incorporated cupping, soft tissue work in addition to use of the activator. I highly recommend her. read more

I met Dr. Oswald about 10 years ago after having my first baby. She worked with me to relieve pain and numbness in my hips postpartum. Years later I discovered my new insurance once again covered her and I was so happy to be back in her office. Dr. Oswald gives strong bodywork in addition to really intuitive and strong adjustments. She is so patient with answering ALL my questions about why/what hurts. She gives a comprehensive follow-up of exercises and stretches that you can take with you to do at home to support the work she does in the office. She'll talk with you about work/desk set up and make lifestyle suggestions on sleep positions etc to support thework in the office as well. If you're looking for a cross between sports medicine/bodywork/chiropractic.... Alicia is it! She is flexible about regular adjustments or on an as-needed basis (not a doctor who will try to rope you into an expensive and unnecessary treatment package)... plus, I can always find an appointment time when I need one (Dr Jessica in this office is also amazing and I'll gladly see her if Dr. Alicia isn't available too). Dr. Alicia is the best. I've been to other doctors for chiropractor work but Dr. Alicia is the best. You can tell she takes a lot of pride in her work and has a lot of knowledge. I was always really nervous about Chiropractic services but a trusted friend recommended Alicia and said I should at least go for the manual/soft tissue therapy since I was having so many issues with my IT bands. I have been going to Alicia since 2012 or 2013, and she is fabulous. I could not have gotten through law school without her, or if I did, I probably would have graduated looking like Quasimodo from the Hunchback of Notre Dame. Her office space is great, and she is very patient. Here is a brief summary of why she is such a great chiropractor: Scheduling: Alicia is very easy to schedule with by e-mail or text message, and she always responds in a promptly manner. She follows-up with your insurer on whether or not services are covered and gets back to you. Parking/Office: Alicia has a great office space right near the JoAnns off Midway Drive. Her suite always has available parking. Treatments: I always leave feeling better than I left. I also love that when I do leave, Alicia asks me if I'd like to schedule another appointment or simply wait until I feel like I need to come back. She NEVER makes me feel pressured to book more appointments. She uses the graston technique on me, which has helped me a lot, and she also uses the Kinesio tape on my back, which really helps me when I am having pain on a frequent basis. She also sends you exercises you can do at home, but she doesn't make you feel guilty if you don't do them. Personality: Alicia has a great, bubbly personality and is a pleasure to be around. She is professional and courteous. She also doesn't try to talk to me about some spiritual mumbo jumbo like I have heard other chiropractors do, which I appreciate--you just never know what people believe and don't believe. Price: Alicia is very reasonable (only $40.00 for follow-up visits) and offers student discounts. Other Services: Alicia's suite also has a masseuse and acupuncturist. This is by far the best chiropractor I have ever gone to, and I have tried quite a few. Super friendly staff, Dr. Jessica is the best!! I always feel so much better after my appointment with her. She knows which areas are tight/ troublesome before I even say anything! She just palpates my back and knows. Alicia is the best chiropractor I have ever seen! I'm a dental hygienist and I have to spend a lot of my working time looking down into my patients mouths. That compromised position has led to neck and back pain. Thanks to Alicia I am pain free. The first appointment is a 1 hour consultation. The follow up appointments are 30 minutes long. For me they have included a massage that targets the trouble spots and then the adjustment. I've been seeing Alicia since before she moved to her great new location. I remember at my first appointment how impressed I was with her friendly, professional manner. That day, she spent an hour with me going over all my past and current issues and gave me a much needed adjustment after some heavy duty massaging of my problem areas. I walked out feeling relieved of the majority of my pain. Within the next week, I had received an email with lots of exercises personalized for me and my chiropractic issues. It's very handy and I still refer to it! Alicia really knows what she is doing! The original massage therapist I saw here has been replaced by two new massage therapists. I have only seen one, Lisa. I just got back from my second massage with her. She is so wonderful, powerful, understanding, precise. She found a trigger point in my neck and has cleared it up so much in just two sessions. Alicia is so great! She is very professional and friendly at the same time, you feel like you have been a patient there for three years right after you walk through the door. She is AMAZING at her job. I have not been able to sit cross cross apple sauce ever since I can remember and after only 3 visits with her I experience no pain and am able to sit cross cross apple sauce! Your first meeting will be an hour long consolation where she goes over your entire body and finds what she needs to do for YOU.
