This was my first time ever getting eyelash extensions. I have always wanted them, but never had the courage to actually go get them done. I finally decided to just do it. I have had lashes placed twice by Theresa. She has a fantastic sense for detail and your individualized needs! The first time I had lashes put on with another lash artist, I was satisfied with the overall look but remember being somewhat put off that she rushed through the process and didn't discuss things like what I should expect or cleanse the lashes. Theresa will make sure she goes over everything, whether this is your first time or your twentieth! When you schedule your appointment, she'll remind you of things like "don't forget to avoid caffeine before your appointment." Once when I had lashes done, I had a little bit of ice tea beforehand - and my eye wouldn't stop twitching the entire time! Attention to details like this matter for a good experience. She also will go over the type and sizes of lashes and make sure you're getting the look you want, as well as one that will suit you. At the end, you'll get recommendations for how to clean your lashes and keep them as long as possible. During the process, she's gentle and will go over the steps with you. She's gotten even faster since the first time I worked with her, while still working meticulously. One thing a lot of lash artists do is rush the process and that can end up with some of your natural lashes glued together, which can make them fall out more quickly. I'm not a super girly person and don't often get my nails or hair done, let alone things like lashes. Once in awhile though, it's fun to glam up. The nice thing about lashes too is you really don't need much added makeup. With lashes, my morning routine is just to do my brows and slap on some concealer. Theresa is wonderful! This was my first time here, as well as my first time getting my lashes done. I purchased the Groupon deal when it had an additional $20 off, so I paid $80. Regardless of the deal, I would still come to her! In order to find the salon, you have to walk through Kinder's patio area, which is usually open so you can see the salon's sign. Parking isn't too bad unless you go around lunch time, then it'll get packed since Kinder's is right there, along with many other restaurants on 1st street. Theresa was very sweet, genuine, and patient! She played relaxing music and I dozed off so many times throughout the whole procedure. She also provides after care instructions and what not to do in order to preserve your lashes. The Groupon deal I purchased includes a touch up so I will definitely be back. I am so satisfied and in love with how my lashes look! They're not too dramatic or too bold, which I like since my eyes are so small! I do believe she has longer ones though!
