I recently returned to PWT on 10/6/26 as a repeat customer for services on my second car. I visited…read morethe shop and talked to Jose. It was a pleasant discussion and a chance to restore our professional connection, thanks to the excellent service on my first vehicle. Jose reviewed his schedule and mine, and we set an appointment for the next day, Wednesday (10/7). The quality of service on my first vehicle was a key reason I went back to PWT. They made it straightforward for me to keep coming back. When I spoke with Jose about my plans for a second vehicle, he recommended a couple of options based on the vehicle he had just finished. The recommendation fulfilled both the quality standards and the tint percentage that suited my sport vehicle. By keeping communication clear from a business perspective and discussing life and family, we agreed the quoted price fit my budget, and we scheduled an appointment for the next day. After leaving my vehicle at 9:00 a.m. and phoning shortly before noon, the results. More importantly, I paid more than I got for the quality of the work. Their well-known reputation was clear, and Jose's willingness to chat about more than just service made me feel at ease, rather than just another client. I would recommend this without hesitation and remain a loyal customer for future service needs. Anthony USMC, retired

What initially caught my attention with Jet Black Tints was their $399 promotional deal, which…read moreincluded free old tint removal and ceramic tint. It was a great offer, so I decided to give them a try. From the very beginning, Leo made the process quick and easy. I dropped my vehicle off at 9:00 AM to the Hayward location and received a text just a few hours later letting me know it was ready for pickup. I went in with an open mind and honestly wasn't expecting too much because I didn't want to set my expectations too high and be disappointed. When Leo brought my vehicle out, he explained that I shouldn't roll the windows down for 3-5 days and that I should allow the tint about three weeks to fully cure. When I first got into my vehicle, the front windshield was very hazy and difficult to see through. Since I understood that the tint was still curing--and this wasn't my first time having windows tinted--I figured it was part of the process and that it would eventually clear up. After giving it a few days and allowing my vehicle to sit in the sun to help expedite the curing process, the windshield did eventually clear up. However, I noticed that there were wrinkles along the corners, and all of the windows--including the back windows--had noticeable pockets of air bubbles throughout the film. I explained my frustration to my husband, and he reached out to customer service on our behalf. Our concerns were then forwarded to management, and that's when Raniyah stepped in. I have to give Raniyah a HUGE amount of credit. She was incredibly pleasant, understanding, and genuinely determined to make things right. She explained that the tint was covered by a lifetime warranty and assured me that the windows would be corrected. She also made sure that my vehicle would be taken care of by a master tint technician. A couple of days ago, I returned to have the tint redone and was once again greeted by Leo. I showed him the issues, and he was surprised to see how many air bubble pockets were throughout the windows. He reassured me that the master tinter would take care of everything. I emphasized that I wanted them to take their time and do it right, and I came back to pick up my vehicle once the work was completed. And let me tell you... WOW! My tints look absolutely immaculate and beautifully done! The difference is incredible, and I couldn't be happier with how they turned out. A BIG thank you to the entire Jet Black Tints team for listening to my concerns, standing behind your work, and making the situation right. Everyone I interacted with was professional, pleasant, and helpful throughout the process. A special thank you to Raniyah and Leo for making what could have been a frustrating experience feel completely hassle-free and efficient. And an extra thank you to the master tint technician for taking the time to make sure the job was done to perfection! Customer service really matters, and I appreciate that Jet Black Tints didn't just acknowledge the issue--they took care of it. I will definitely be back to have my sunroof tinted next! Thank you again, Jet Black Tints! I truly appreciate you making it right.

They were understanding of my situation, took my concerns seriously, and helped arrange for me to visit the Fremont location to have the necessary issues corrected. I genuinely appreciate how quickly customer service stepped in and made sure everything was taken care of. While my initial experience at the Hayward location was disappointing, I do believe in giving credit where it's due. Maybe I caught them on a bad day, who knows? However, based on my personal experiences, I would still highly recommend visiting the Fremont location over the Hayward location. I've always had positive experiences at Fremont, and this visit only reinforced my confidence in that location. Although I wish my original experience had gone differently, I truly appreciate the professionalism, communication, and prompt assistance I received from customer service. It's reassuring to know that when something goes wrong, there are people within the company who genuinely care about making things right. Thank you again to the customer service team and the Fremont location for turning an otherwise frustrating experience into a positive resolution.

He gave us an estimate for ceramic coating but advised this was preliminary. He'd be able to confirm the services we wanted after we brought our cars to his shop where he'd take a more detailed look. Turns out, the paint on my 68 Camaro wasn't a good candidate for a ceramic coating. We really appreciated his honesty especially because the service we did get (buff and polish) was half the cost of a ceramic coating. My husband was grateful that Armando took the time to explain everything to him like he was a 6 year old lol. Our 83 Silverado got the ceramic coating and our 2025 Corolla got paint enhancement with ceramic coating. All 3 vehicles are beautiful. You can see a tree in the reflection of the Corolla! Washing takes less than half the time it used to. Water beads up and wipes cleanly with no streaks. Highly recommend ProTek Shine Studio. Armando is honest, knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I brought my car in for PPF, ceramic coating, and ceramic window tint. What stood out right away was how thorough Armando was during the initial consultation. Before he even gave me a quote, he carefully inspected the car for any paint flaws and actually pointed out some imperfections I didn't even realize were there. Instead of just wrapping over them, he took the time to correct as much as he could before starting the PPF install. The quality of the work is top-tier. The PPF looks clean and precise, the ceramic coating has made cleaning the car ridiculously easy (water just slides right off), and the ceramic tint was done perfectly. Armando is real, transparent, and super easy to talk to. No pressure, no sales gimmicks, just honest advice and quality work. If you're thinking about getting PPF or tint, do yourself a favor and talk to Armando first. Can't recommend him and ProTek enough.

I contacted the installer, and he told me to schedule an appointment because he could fix it. I took time out of my day to bring my car in, only to find out he wasn't even there. Mind you i drove two hours to get there because i used to live in the area and since then have moved. Also i have brought three of my cars here to give them business. Instead of honoring what I was told, another employee immediately started making excuses. She claimed the tint on my door was peeling because of my seat belt or my keys, and the tint on the back window was peeling because of the heat. Last time I checked, tint is supposed to withstand normal use and hot weather. If it can't handle a seat belt or summer temperatures, that's a workmanship issue--not a customer issue. She called the installer while I was standing there, and after being told he would fix it, they suddenly changed their story and decided they weren't going to honor their work because they somehow claimed it was my fault. The worst part wasn't even the peeling tint--it was the complete lack of accountability. They were quick to make excuses, refused to stand behind their work, and wasted my time by having me come in for an appointment they had no intention of honoring. If a business can't stand behind its own workmanship and treats customers this way, I can't recommend them to anyone.
