RIGHT OFF THE TOP - IF YOU'RE HEADED TO KAUAI IN NEED OF A MASSEUR - LOOK NO FURTHER!! ANGELA IS THE BEST! PERIOD! But if I may... allow me to give an even greater compliment and overall vote of confidence... Ms. Angela Dawn (as I was told) is not only an "angel of the morning" - but an all around superb human being - consummate professional - and masseur to die for if you had to die for one! Having recently started a rather rigorous workout regimen (after a longer layoff than I care to admit) I entrusted and no doubt challenged Angela with the very serious and particular task of helping get these creaky old muscles of mine into line. Angela's training and expertise kicked in from day one. She first started with a "body assessment" - something I'd never had before from a masseur - I'm still asking myself why I had not - and something I instantly respected and appreciated about her approach to her craft. She then plotted a course of action I fully understood (which always helps) and got to work. Over the course of two weeks Angela stayed on track and both healed and helped me survive my rather grueling physical training. She lengthened and loosened stuck and adhered muscle fibers. Relieved and manipulated problem areas and kept me going - all while calming and soothing my overall being. In a nutshell - she saw me through from start to finish without missing a beat! In the end my body was completely rejuvenated - IN LINE BY THE WAY - and more than well taken care of. What more could I have asked? I highly suggest you stop reading and book her services immediately! Angela is much more than a masseur! She's an angel sent to get you back on track! And that's that! Don't tell her - but I'd pay double for her services! One more point if I may... Before meeting Angela I'd ALWAYS LOATHED even the notion of a masseur using their elbows on me. I'd always considered it a lazy practice - relying on bodyweight and pressure as opposed to proper technique and skill - resulting inevitably in a less than comforting experience for me (anatomically speaking). Angela changed all of that. I now know for certain that a talented masseur with proper knowledge technique and skill can apply both body weight and pressure with their elbows alone - while keep you comfortable - and simultaneously sending you to the outer reaches of blissville itself! The woman is talented! I've hired her services twice. That's 10 stars in my book! Plus two for good measure! Book her! You can't lose! 12 STARS! read more

I have had many massages within the past 13 years of my life and I have to say that even though those were great, nothing compares to my experiences that I receive from Angela with Elevate Wellness. She truly is a miracle worker. I had gone camping less than 2 weeks ago and woke up with a stiff neck. I had tried my best to get rid of it and with no success, still had my stiff neck for a week. I contacted Angela and she was able to fit me in for a 90 min which I highly recommend if you want to get the whole full body experience. I had my massage in this cute little cabin like bungalow which is oceanfront. The sound of the ocean and the cool ocean breeze made my experience so much greater. I got up from my massage being able to rotate my head in a full circle and left to right with no problems. She had also loosened up a lot of tight areas in my lower back as well and I feel as if I had no body issues at all. I love how she explains what she does and how I can take care of my body to prevent injury. I highly recommend Elevate Wellness. Their customer service and high quality work will make you want to come back for more. I am already looking forward to my next session. Mahalo Angela! You truly are wonderful and are blesses with this amazing gift! read more

I live on an Island where there are many massage therapists and have experienced several different treatments from different therapists. I wanted to experience a massage from Angela because I had heard she was one of the best out there. I'm so glad I did! Angela's massages are so much more than the typical treatment. She finds out your issues first and really takes the time to intuitively explore the body. As a dancer I tend to have a lot of aches and pains and when I layed on the table I melted right away. Angela uses just the right amount of pressure to relax the body and gives just the right amount of a deep tissue massage. She felt my tense areas and trouble spots and really took the time to work on it with the perfect amount of energy. She stretched out my hips in a way that I have never experienced before. I knew that I was not only receiving an amazing massage from someone with tons of experience but also a real knowledge of the body unlike many therapists. To top it off I was able to smell these amazing essential oils that really created a well rounded healing experience. read more

Angela Babcock is the best massage therapist we've ever used. My wife and I met Angela Babcock several years ago during a stay on Kaua'i. Not only does she straighten out our bodies, but her attitude and methods relax our minds. After all, if our minds are in turmoil, how can our bodies return to their natural state? Somehow she has the ability to see inside us, find the points of muscle stress, break them up and have them understand their correct position. The muscles and joints stay corrected longer than any other massage therapist we've known. Her calm attitude and strong hands never fail to improve our minds and bodies. Thanks to her, my wife and I have improved health and better movement. Her company, Elevate Wellness and Bodywork, includes several other talented individuals covering all types of massage and now acupuncture. We suggest a ninety minute massage followed by an acupuncture treatment. You and your body will appreciate it. read more

Best massage on island! After reading some previous reviews, my husband secretly arranged for Angela to come to our hotel and give me a massage. She is a truly a miracle worker! I've had plenty of massages before but never in my hotel room and Angela put me right at ease with her professional yet personable manner. After reviewing with me the different types of massage that she is able to perform and discussing any areas of attention that I wanted her to work on, I prepared for the most relaxing and tension relieving massage of my life. All those months of wedding planning stress was gone in an hour and a half! I appreciated the way Angela listened to me and spent extra time working and stretching my shoulder areas. She also enhanced the relaxing mood with some soothing music and essential oils. If you are looking to get a massage on Kauai, Angela is the best you will find! read more

I'm a newbie to massage. Angela's technique addressed a current back condition and a long term neck injury. Afterward, I felt great. One third of her time (one hour) was spent on my neck condition. My neck hasn't felt this good in 25 years since I injured it. The rest of the massage was very relaxing. At the end, I was standing straight instead of hunched over as when I arrived. The facility was the only mark down. The porch was narrow and when I spread my arms out they touched the wall and the roman shades. The plus is that the screened in porch had a wonderful breeze blowing through. That was very pleasant. I would do this again and again. read more

I had a 60-minute deep tissue massage with Elevate Wellness, and it was an amazing experience. The massage was thorough and really helped release the tension I was carrying. The best part was the beautiful outdoor setting right by the beach outside the Hotel Coral Reef. Listening to the sound of the waves and feeling the ocean breeze while getting a massage made the experience incredibly relaxing and peaceful. If you're looking for a unique massage experience in a beautiful location, I would definitely recommend Elevate Wellness. It was a wonderful way to unwind and enjoy the island atmosphere. read more

Angela's magical hands sense the muscles and areas of the body that need the most direct attention. She is sensitive to points on the body when a gentle touch is needed. I prefer a good, deep, sports massage, and she has the strength to work out the kinks at the end of a hard day or week. Angela learned authentic Thai massage by going to a massage resort in Chang Mai, Thailand. Being nationally certified, she has a wide range of techniques, and a varied scope of methodologies. I follow Angela when she is on the mainland or when I am on Kauai. read more

I really appreciate your work Angela. Malaho's! Caring and kind and also knowledgeable and intuitive, you really create a whole healing experience. May aches and pains feel calmer and my body more flexible. I am very active and tend to strain my body so I was relieved to finally find someone that actually could relieve it. The acupuncture option took it up a huge notch to such a higher sense of wellness and expanded healing experience. Very complete. I will definitely be back for more! read more

Very accommodating!!! Angie was able to set up an appointment very quickly. Upon arriving I was greeted by Tracy the therapist at the door. She introduced herself and welcomed me to the facility. She explained what the process would be and made me feel very comfortable. The room was beautifully decorated, clean, and smelled wonderful! I felt so relaxed and had one of the best massages I have ever had. I will go back as soon as I can and will recommend Elevate Wellness to others. read more

My wife and I got a couple's massage on the beachside gazebo from Angela and Kristen. Both of us definitely feel like this was the best massage experience we've ever had. Personally, I could feel my muscles vibrating with warm energy immediately afterward and could definitely tell that Kristen was a master at her trade. That, combined with the ocean front atmosphere truly made this a memorable experience for both of us. read more

I enjoyed a beachside, custom 90 minute massage with Forrest... massage technique was effective and the healing profound. He was skilled at intuitively incorporating a range of other modalities to support and deepen the impact of the massage. I felt myself relaxing and releasing and the sound of the ocean so close by just balanced my nervous system and enhanced the massage too. read more
