The rough draft came via email, we proceeded to send ideas back and forth, I appreciated the collaboration and level of effort before I even sat in the chair. Liaa had an apprentice with her during my session, and she did a stellar job of working on my tattoo and mentoring a new person to the art. I emailed them to inquire & then easily set up an appt. t I never got through when I would call but they were easy to communicate via email. There was a mixup with my pharmacy to fill the Lidocaine & I didn't realize it until I went to pick it up on the day before which was a Sunday. Skin & Style was closed so I left a voicemail & sent an email. I got a call back first thing Monday morning & the rep was able to straighten things out with the pharmacy. I was able to get the prescription in time to prep my baby for her piercing. The actual appt was so easy & my sweet girl barely cried. The nurse did a great job in administering the piercings skillfully & swiftly. She even kept our baby relaxed which kept our group of 5 in good spirits ! (My mom & sister came to cheer our sweet girl on during this momentous occasion!). She showed my husband and I how to clean them daily & gave us the cleaning care package. When we walked in, we were greeted and had to fill out some stuff, which was no biggie. She helped me pick out the perfect earring , which I still love. They want ID parent (I get that), they want birth certificate (I get that) but now they want a passport or drivers permit. My child doesn't drive. You would think with my ID, my child birth certificate and her school ID would do. They said that their insurance asks for this but as I search on Maryland laws doesn't say anything about this. This is their "business law" which is fine but parents don't take your children here because they won't help you.
